nope... i pref to look after her myself.. my mum's working n my ger hates my mil... so i just lug her along lor...
v hard to get good help these days... when i visited my fren ydae, her mil is a fully time nanny but she dun even wan her mil to look after her son either... guess it is a mother's instinct to wan to look after n protect their kids.

Japan sells N95 kiddy masks? Or normal surgical masks? Coz I bought the kiddy surgical masks at Unity. U can try that. It has got pics of stars on them. very cute.

sharon, envy u leh.. hee i also canot tahan already so will be taking my ML 1 month in advance.. so will start on 27 Jul.. still got 4 more weeks to go.. counting down..

H1N1 is spreading fast, hope they will find something that is suitable for use on MTB which is safe for mum and bb.
yen2008, that is for countries like Canada, Part of US and Oz, the hospital dun provide surgery gown in delivery suite, you wear your own old and big T-shirt.
Mashy, hope your dh is released from frontline duties coz we are high-risk group and furthermore with young children as well.
Tas, you are really gungho haahaa, just make sure you and your girl has all the vitamins and medication before your travel. It is hard to get similar medication in Japan as they only have their own japanese brand medication. By the way, their baby fm is really yummy, my Japanese friend let us try her #1 fm haahaa.
By the way, this is wat I find out from TMC,
In case of labour and need to use their TMC Ambulance,
Call 6250 2222
During office hour: $70 per 1 way trip
After office hour(from 5pm onward): $90 per 1 way trip
In labour, a nurse will be on the ambulance: $80 for the nurse to care for you on the ambulance
It takes about 15 minutes for them to reach you after you call.

sharon, i actually used up most of my AL liao so dun hav much left already.. cos i work in town area.. find it really tiring to squeeze the bus and train everyday.
Jus today when I was taking bus today saw an very IRRITATING UNCLE sitting beside me keep on digging his nose than after that you noe wat.. He find that his pants got those white dust.. he put his hand inside his mouth to get some salvia to rub against the pants to remove the dust.. tell u I going to faint when I see this.. but he did it so many times jus to remove the dust..eeer.. so once I see there’s another empty seat I quickly change.. than after I change he even cough and sneeze so loudly without covering his month.. Yucks!

He's not just stingy, he has total disregard for your life lor. It doesn't matter to him if u get H1N1 from working in office & that you're high risk.

yen, I totally agreed with Mashy. I think he is too much too, an real a**h***, he can work in the office but you can work from home wat since he loves to be in the office so much. These are irritiating and inconsiderate bosses, see wat he will do if his wife is in your shoe.

i can't work from home cos my work-based and co systems softwares are trade confindential one and somemore controlled by US...
my field is aircraft engine service so lots of thing involve regulatory board ...
so totally can forget about working from home...

u should prob start to plan your calendar. I've everything on my calendar now so that i can be sure i'll be free of any task for at least 1 week before my C-section date. It's just in case i deliver earlier, all my things are ready for me. If you're really renovating, better get it done now. Coz u really dun know when bb will come. Somemore, there'll still be cleaning up and airing of the place after the reno.

I also planning to ask my boss to let me work from home. But thinking to cite H1N1 or cos of my backaches & tiredness to travel to n from work everyday....

Regg, I am okay just that Ob ordered me to more rest at home. So I am back to not walking so much and also lazing on bed more coz got some mucus discharge with dark brown blood.
Workwise, there will always be problems, dun take it too hard. Good to know that you get at least a day off from weekday to rest from your leaves.

mashy: ya, single old women and old men always behave strangely, i duuno why..I have encournter a few in my work environment, juz find them eccentric. Maybe their hormones change too drastically during their menopause? haha .

firstly, write down a list of things that u need to complete before bb comes like call contractor, choose paint colours, wash bb's clothes etc.
Then allocate a time slot for each in your calendar lor... Mark your EDD on your calendar and preg weeks to keep track too. Try to leave the last mth alone coz that's when u're highly likely to go into labour.
no leh, at taka, it's 30% straight leh...
