irene, so envious! kinda dreading my next appt cos i'm sure my wt gain is gonna be more than previous appt. appetite seems to have increased a lot in the last 2 wks leh! have to eat v frequently..

babys, oh dear.. ur gyne not v flexible ah.. my gyne gives HL if prolonged home rest is needed. but i usually have to ask for HL to be issued and not MC. hmm maybe u can say got v bad back pain then request admission 1 night, then next day discharge with 3 wks of HL! shiok leh! hahahaha :p

Yeah finally its fri......Have not been sleeping well for the past few night. Dozing off only 3+ the night before and have to wake up 8am..So tired. Really looking fwd to the weekend...

I cant join in the meet up coming Tue as I am having prenatal class till abt 9+ every Tue..
Shall join the next one then ;)

your gynae is very strict!!! my gynae asked me if i want MC when i went to check up on a weekday. lol Then my hubby being naughty, ask if he can have the MC instead or not haha

i always thought shaving baby's hair at 1 month is so that he can have fuller hair in the future. so even if baby's hair is very fine and not much, dont need to shave also.

for high chair, i am only interested in getting this http://www.kidzloft.com/images/large/IMToy/IM51020GFF_LRG.jpg but i wonder if baby can use it from 6 months onward or not? if can then must go and quickily buy liao!

i dun think the kidzloft 1 is highchair leh n it looks kinda dangerous for baby no belt to secure them also... it looks more like a study table with a chair to me..
 
jac: yeah that i am reassured... his stiching is very good...

reira: mine i have to ask him if i see him one.. easier to just call in from home, and ask from his nurses.. haha... they sure say ok one.

u can only use this high chair when your bb is at least 6mths and can sit up and hold up head lah. Before that, you will need a bouncer or a highchair that can be tilted to feed baby solids. But it's good for long term use coz after that can convert to table and chair. I don't quite like the cushion though, coz a lot to wash when bb makes a mess while eating.

that's a high chair. It can be stacked with the chair on the table. When bb older, can remove it and become study table & chair. There's another brand, can't remember what but that one bb also can sit coz the chair is more snugged and more tilted for those who can't hold their heads up well yet.

icic.. but dun look safe to me cos the back support is quite high also n dun seems to be able to adjust to diff angle ..

yeah the cushion might be troublesome to wash. maybe i should go and get it since can use from 6 mths onward!! btw, i just called kidzloft leh. sob they said it is only for 1 time purchase so since i bought something last time, now cannot liao. haiz!

aiyah, actually most high chairs can't adjust angle unless u buy the very very ex ones. even the ikea high chair also can't adjust angle lah. The most important thing is that they must have good seat belts and easy to clean. :p

This type can be tilted. Also comes with table & chair combi like the kidzloft type. Dunno what's the brand though. The infant care that my boy attended used this.

but my frend say can last a few years...worth the investment

tink the ikea one cheap n good...comes in 3 colours too...but can only use when they can sit up

no i haven buy alr got a FP rocker as a gift hahah so no hurry will hint my sis hahah... cos i find this Combi highchair can even use as a changin station after bath really multi purpose keke...
 
Afternoon gals! It's TGIF! Finally!

Still super bz but cannot resist checking in. Speaking of gifts, my mum said she wanna buy gold for Babylet. Hmm.. Good value but not good to use hor?

Wonder if I shd accept the gold or to ask her to gimme a car seat or something more useful?

if its ur mum, then mebby can accept the gold...can keep for long "zhuo ji nian" so dat bb will rem its fr grandma next time
the rest of the ppl ask them gif more useful things or ang bao better...hehehe

Wat i meant is relatives buying mah ... how wld they know who is buying wat rite? So u'll end up with many anklets, chains or pendants. Just like during my 21st bday ... recevied several chains/key pendants

Hi all

I just came back from Dr Wong's clinic coz got somemore dark brown bloody mucus discharge, I asked him to check whether I am dilated and found that I am 2cm dilated.

Will be going to TMC later to do a CTG and also to get some medication to prevent pre-term labour.

Mashy, I love the Jane Activa high chair, it is one of the best buy that I got during Kai's time beside the Quinny Zapp Stroller.

so far my HB side relative quite ok for my housewarmin etc gave angbao i hope they dun gave me gold manz.. 1 or 2 for keepsake is ok but not so many cos really no use cos i wun pawn it unnecessary also haha..

if jane activa high chair is only $200 - $300 then consider not a bad price le. Cos the high chair i posted original price is about $200. i also notice that the chair is quite hard, no cushion.

haha i hope that i will get ang bao from friends & relatives during baby's full mth too! instead of items.

one of my friend's baby boy also got a lots of anklets/chains/pendants during his 1st mth celebration. looks real heavy lor! but well, they are meant for keeping de lah. like we also dont wear gold out mah, all are kept in their jewellery box collecting dust.

actually both chairs r good cos they can be converted to from high chair to low chair
but the jane activa one got different angles..got cushion...the material is softer, even if bb knock, not so painful...can use from bout 4mths onwards
 

hi MTB : is it during this few week to EDD we will start to dilated little by little har .
Yesterday I experience sharp pain from my stomach and I so scare I going to give birth , heng I go toilet is do big business but the feeling of sharp pain is very unusual type of pain leh .

After I do finish my business still have the pain , it gone after 10min .
