caramelle, oh no!! BFg still need to fast? Anyway, how can a muslin nappy cloth be too small?! Kyle can fit with lotsa room to spare, so can others for sure! He's getting real hefty already. He was easily the longest biggest bb at the gathering, except for maybe blurmom's bub. Just swaddle arms, leaving legs free.
MIM sling is not that easy to use. But once u get the hang of it, it's great. Sis also has pupsik white elephant. I find it less flexible...
vogue~, not too early to start... just be flexible cos a routine isn't cast in stone. Not sure if this'll help cos Kyle's bn bit erratic with sleep lately. But my routine for him is only a night sleep one - not a timetable. Whatever time is his last feed for the day, he gets bathed, moisturised n nursed, then put down. Lights are dimmed n room quiet. No playing n little talking. This can be as early as 9pm or as late as midnight when we have functions to attend. I've adopted this approach cos it suits my unpredictable days most n Kyle seems to be thriving until the last week or so.
Daytime naps i leave up to him. But i don't darken room or keep things quiet intentionally. If babies are overtired, they end up fractious n unable to sleep properly instead because they may be too upset. They need AT LEAST 3hrs of naps thru'out the day.
Do note that growth spurts do not last long... usually a couple of days. So perhaps it'll pass soon if it is one.
