The gathering sounds fun. Can somebody refresh me the details, its pretty long to back track upwards.

Also, can any helpful mummies share with me how is your little one doing in terms of weight? I find that my kiddo is a little under at 8kg for a 9mth old. Will be helpful too to list down what kind of food you are giving and what is the preparation like?

I am in the same situation as you, I am also still training my boy, don't when he will know how to drink. I also bought the one with spout (Avent) when he is around 6 months. He reject using it, later I read in the forum that some May babies know how to drink from Mag Mag, so I went to get 1 and let him try. He did not seem to reject it, but just bite on the straw, play with the cup and throw the cup around. Then finally about 1 or 2 month ago (this lazy mum seldom let him try), he know how to suck the water from the straw but with lots of water coming out of his mouth as well. Now also have water coming out of his mouth (very messy everytime we try giving him water with it - but I think he does swallow abit so once in a while will give). Haiz, what to do, drink abit of water we also very happy already even though it will be very messy.

babymay, i tried the spout on my boy again these few days...same like wat u say...he will drink but with lots of water coming out everytime..and always like to bite n bite...if i change back to normal teats..he will suck and drink the water very fast..sign..i tink i will gv up on the spout and proceed to straw soon..
