yah my mum very excited. last nite when i was preparing to go to the hospital, she went to bathe den wear so nice clothes. den she finding which perfume to spray.. she say must smell nice to see her first grandchild.. den i laugh. i told her that she more kan chiong than i am haha!

den after she saw us coming out.. her face -_- hahaha

I understand your situation! although din't happen in hospital, but i also feel embarrassed, is all hubby's fault.
Just bcoz i feeling cramp and painful, but i know is not unbearable, just want some comfort and complained to him, then he make announcement to my MIL, OMG! sigh!
now dun dare to complain or say anything, in case my blur hubby embarrass me again

haha..audrey, ur mum is so cute.. My mum has got 5 grandkids le. So this is her no. 6. Obviously no enthusiasm abt it at all. i guess she'll prob be excited when its her own son's kid is born ba.. She is the dote on boys more than girls type..

adv_sports: dun worry abt weight loss... its prob due to loss of water etc.. So, all's good. 1 kg is alright really.. I've encountered this during my first pregnancy. If ya worried still, check with gynae...

in the meanwhile, sit tight and wait for your turn..

Hi Muffintop, I find Dr Tracy very friendly and I am very comfortable with her. But I trust Dr Lim's delivery and stitching skill more cause he came highly recommended by my auntie, so glad that my baby wait till he is back from his holiday. Dr Tracy says that my baby's weight is 3.2kg - 3.4kg. Last week Dr Lim says my baby weight is about 2.5kg. I think I trust Dr Tracy's estimation more cause she measured the head diameter, adominal circumference and thigh length twice before she come up with the weight. I asked her whether the weight is too heavy. She say it is normal and it is now a waiting game for me. If my baby's weight is really 3.2kg - 3.4kg, I hope that my baby come out soon cause 3.2kg - 3.4kg is a very good weight now.

How is your checkup with Dr Lim yesterday? Is it a normal scan?

Hi adv_sports, I think plus minus 1-2kg is normal, maybe your weight stabilise already and the 1, 2kg may be due to more food taken, water retention etc.. My weight has also maintained for the past few weeks (plus minus 1kg every week).

the mysterious mummy is Bean Bean the ballerina ! she pop this afternoon 5pm+ to a chuuby baby gal 3.325kg ! so happy for her ! natural with epi. both mummy and baby is doing fine

dear mummies - my scheduled c-section date is next tue 28 apr. will be admitting into the hospital on mon. going to miss having my little boy in my tummy.

xue, haha, ur #2 having fun by giving false alarm... me still no sign or action -- my princess also having fun keeping me waiting

oh, my mucus plug came off over 2-3 days...

9 apr 10am -- saw fresh blood stained discharge... panicked and called hubby... asked mummies here.. then called KKH to page for gynae... gynae finally returned my call at 4pm -- by then no more blood stained discharge, so he said no need to admit if bleeding stops...

9 apr 8pm -- some brownish discharge... getting worried but decided to monitor...

10 apr 8am -- some brownish discharge... try to remain calm...

10 apr 2pm -- more brownish discharge that cover the whole panty liner... decided to go KKH for a check -- turned out i m having regular contractions and 3cm dilated! continue to have brownish discharge when i was warded...

aiyoh... I did the swap test last friday.. today got call from my gynae's office.. I got Bacteria & Fungel infection.. will need to take some anti-biotic to clear!

My doc says it shd be done arnd 36wks.. I lost the brochure.. else can give exact info..

The bacteria will pass to bb if it's delivered via virginal.. but, if tested and know the result, a dose of antibiotic b4 birth will prevent the bacteria from passing to the bb.

Just got back from my antenatal class - Doc's Talk. Dr Joycelyn Wong's talk is interesting and she went thru again the different stages of labour. Then now, I can literally know to relate the live reporting with her illustrations. Haha. Gosh, she's quite pretty and tall. *Slurps*

Mummies, just wonder hor, how soon will we "menstrual" if we are going for C-sec? Imediate also? I understand that if going by V birth, the passing out of blood will be very soon after the delivery. Can anyone advise?

u can get the snuzzler from mothercare or taka baby corner. i got mine from a BP on SMH. u may want to buy from her cos u can opt for delivery to your hse. She has regular BP every mth.
