we just sacked our maid fr A C toh. and we are getting a new one fr this company called unity employment at adelphi. recommended by her classmate's mummy. forgot his office no. hp is 9781 4673. Andrew is the boss. Our maid will be coming in end of this week.

Is there PIL relief?
Basically, working mummy can claim for QCR (either daddy or mummy can claim), maid relief, WMCR, parent relief (one dependent can only be claimed by one taxpayer), grandparent relief (same), parentahood tax rebate (either or both and can be brought to nxt yr for an unutilisation).

I've brought my boy to Chinese physician for tcm cause his hands & legs get cold after the western med.

You try 'zhong hua' hospital, they have branches in heartland, the one I went to was at admiralty. The charges are cheap, $2 for consultation, $2 for medicine. My boy recovered from his cough & runny nose 5 days aft the med.

riverie, for my case my mil take care of bb Jo so i can claim under grandparent caregiver reliefs up to max $3k. my husband still can claim for parenthood tax rebate.

Hi Jac, you may want to give Jovan the "bao ying dan" from EYS. it can clear phlegm. also wat formula is Jovan drinking? mayb u may also wish to change other FM..

Jennifer, i sourced my CCTVs from Sim Lim square. Basically i just asked the prices at a few shops and chose the cheapest one. How many are you looking at? I installed 4 at abt $1.3K.
 
sun, yes u can claim the grandparent caregiver reliefs if ur mother or mother in law take care of Bryan provided nobody already claimed her under this relief. Your husband can claim parenthood tax rebate for his parents. U can check on the details from the link i provided http://www.iras.gov.sg/irasHome/page04.aspx?id=204

or u may call them if u are confused. im worry my explaination is a bit blur..kekek..

Tax:

Those that got the letter would have to file ifu want to enjoy the tax relief.

Parent Relief: Have it all along if u are supporting ur parent and none of ur siblings are claiming for it. Provided ur parent(s) do not earn income.

QCR: up to $4000 (can share with hb, i took $0 and hb claim for $4000 cos his income higher)

WMCR: 15% of earned income (cannot transfer to hb)

Grandparent Caregiver Relief: Can be PIL or ur own parents but only 1 claim is allowed. (only for working mothers). Does not matter if the parent relief was claimed on the same person.

Maid relief; i dont have maid so not clear on this

Parenthood tax rebate: This is not a relief but rather like cash in an account to deduct any tax payable. For first child, we get $5000. First time file, got to indicate how many % (if any) u want to transfer to hb. Hb can only claim after u transfer cos it is tagged to mother. no expiry date, it just rolls over the years without interest. But also means that those who are permanently intending to be SAHM should transfer the $5k to hb else would never get utilised.

Hi Jennifer, I installed in 2 bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Therefore i have told my maids if they need to change clothes, pls do so in the toilet!
