Egg- hmm, I unknowingly fed her egg months ago. Think it's ok to slowly intro small amounts of new foods now as they are exploring with their palate.
Hearing test- A failed all tests big time when she was born but is normal now. It's prob not needed at this age unless they do not react to sounds well.
Mmr- for serious issues like this, best to source for most
updated n verified research than to rely on hearsay

And thanks to all mummys for support, I know I can do it! Will just be very tired at end of week

i had not bought any combi shoe yet. but i had recently bought a osh kosh show 4 me gal. i find tat e shoe is very light. and currently kidstyle having promo. u bring any old shoe there, u can trade in $20 off for new shoe. find it quite worth lor

I haven't intro eggs to my boi yet.
I plan to do so on his lunar chinese birthday on 27 March.Cos i wanna make 2 red eggs for him. Do i feed him the egg white or egg yolk first?
The nurses at polyclinic told me before but i forgot.

btw I noticed that after giving birth my memory became bad. Not sure if it is because it's lack of sleep or wat. Seems to forget things quite fast. Anyone knows how to improve memory?

Looking at the vacination schedule card, 14mth - chickenpox & 15mth - MMR, 16mth - last Penumococcus. IF Polyclinic is FOC for MMR, I as well bring him to jap there... save $$$, PD very expensive

My SIL ordered a cake for my wedding on the morning of AD. from tat day onwards, i banned their cakes as relatives, friends n all bro n sis all complaint its too creamy n the coloring stains their hands.

I got mine from Pine Garden. however, their cake also very creamy but the cream is nicer as compared with ecreative :p i think only fondant cake wont b creamy ba..hahha..wat am i talking..but fondant cake is more pricey lor..dunno nice o not..nvr tried b4..

so so so wish i can join u all for the Gymboree and also birthday bash in Apr

Nope I exchange with non osh kosh shoe! and I brought 4 pairs of old shoe without any brand to do the exchange! The poster stated any shoes. even sandal also k lei. I bought 2 adidas and 1 osh kosh.

Really ?? !! I think ecreative must have use very strong colouring orelse it is impossible to stain on the hands. I've just tried another cake.. very nice, soft & they're using fresh cream. Can't remember the name is just behind Amara Hotel (tanjong pagar), is japanese cake shop, very classic birthday cake.

re:hearing test
my boy did it during his birth at TMC n passed n another assessment at the polyclinic during his 9mths check up...free for the one at poly cos its part of the routine checks as informed by the nurses..to chk the sensitivity of the pitches from the device...the ones during birth are plucked into the ear drums while the ones during 9 mths is just holding a device behind baby n watch for the reaction twds the sound...also conducted the eye symmetrical chk to see got crossed eye anot..

p.seed: i'm also sure u can survive on yr own with baby A cos i think if i can everyone else can..btw i send u a few emails, u rcv?

Btw ladies.. any entertainers during the birthday bash? My student's mum does the nice cutesy figurine balloons but she charges a fee as she is doing events for a living.. But again, I don't think our babies are able to appreciate the art form but however they do certainly love balloons..

Do let me know if you guys are keen..

So fast is Friday. Really looking forward to meet all mummies & babies tomorrow at Gymboree... Pls kindly bear with my boy, he is now dripping salvia everywhere, 5 & 6 teeth is coming out. He also abit anti-social, hope will improve tomorrow with sooooo many friends

*parents must put on socks. Babies to be barefooted

Note: this is not a class. No instructor will be present. We would be left alone to do our own thing, which is great cos the whole point is that we mommies want to catch up with one another in that 1 hour. And the best part is that our babies would be safe in this environment. Daddies won't get too bored since it is for a short time only. Besides, they'll probably get busy with our crawlers going amok at the gym.

Any small groups who want to chat for longer can always adjourn to somewhere else on their own.

RE: GYMBOREE tomorrow

For ease of mind, I've just double checked with the centre (Tanglin Mall) and confirmed that there isn't any HFMD outbreak now, or in the recent few weeks. She also assured me that they sanitise the whole place and toys etc etc after EVERY single session.

Those who are paying membership rate of $12 please bring along your membership card or quote the membership no when prompted.
