sportyger: Every day also feel like giving up, especially after the particularly bad blocked ducts I kena. I actually kena blocked ducts several times liao, but usually one or 2 pea sized lumps. 2 days ago, that blockage was the entire left side of the left breast. Painful until sit down do nothing also painful. Last night hubby helped me apply hot towel and massage. Every touch is followed by ooooooooowwwwwwwww and tears...
lipstar, I know what you mean, I also kena blocked ducts before but I think not as bad as yours. Did you get mdm rokiah to come? Besides that there is also the time and effort to pump during work and lugging all the stuff to work every day. I also feel like giving up! Lets jiayou together!

ST, any remedy to solve the flat head? he dun sleep in yao lan, if not i think sleep yao lan, the head will be rounder.
I hope i can preserve 6 mths also.. keep telling myself 2.5 mths to go, after that, when he start solid, then dun need to pump so much le.
I din go see if my ss has drop anot, cos i feel stress if i go measure nowadays. so i just pump and store. Still enough for him to drink total bm. told myself if really drop and not enough then supplement with FM.
In fact, sometimes i'm feel so sick and tired of pumping.

To prevent yr bb from pulling her shirt, why not let her wear romper? cannot pull already loh... kekeke...
My BB Elva had her 5-in-1, Pneumococcal and Rotavirus vaccine together and she also got fever on the 2nd day and her thighs where she had the injections warm warm. Then 3 days later, she got rashes on her thighs.

btw rotavirus vaccine is how much on e average? seems like most mummies giving..me due to budget, only can give elixir the free ones tat is given at polyclinic..haiz, i'm a lousy mummy...
feeling so vexed cos just rcv news tat hb gotta be posted overseas for a yr...i'll be all alone in spore le..dun think i wana go along due to e current swine flu...been so distant ever since elixir is born..sad yet nothing can be done...think i'll just do my part to be a gd mummy to elixir..n hope hb dun stray cos caught him before with china woman..xianz...think my marriage haywire le..dunno can survive anot...plus i nt working now, everything so tough yet always wana gather with all mummies cos so much fun chatting n catching up...else stay hm 24/7, i will go crazy..sorry, dun mind my ranting hor cos no listening ear...think due to my frequent crying during preg, now elixir quite cranky at times...so envy all of u with gd hubbies...paoseh, dun mean to wash dirty linen here but no outlet to vent my frustrations out...helllpppp....

st, my boy used to be like tat too, so wat i do is to go over to the other side where he is lying down n he will turn to see me then remain in that posn le...ooops my boy sleeping with me on e bed n sometimes yaolan..if cot then i dunno le..hth..
pinkdemoness, dont feel bad about ranting here, we are all here to give each other support and be your listening ear. Actually why dont you consider going along with your hubby cause it might not be a good idea to be separated for such a long period of time. btw where is he going to be outstation?
Try to communicate more with your hubby. I mean with a baby now, I also feel there is tension between me and hubby sometimes because of different views and perspective regarding baby. We are also learning and adjusting our lifestyle because of baby marissa. Hope things will get better for you and your hubby. Take care gal.

we are all here to listen to ur woes. Actually , i feel that ever since tristan is with me n hb we do have conflicts now and then. to me is just a phase lor. slowly when our babies grows older our r/s will improve. this is what i see from my sil n bro. u are really a good wife n a good mommy ! it takes alot of courage to forgive when one is caught straying outside. i agree with sportyger, u should consider go along with ur hb. at least u wont be so bored in sg..

oh ya i cant rem how much is rotavirus. but is really up to u. i believe rotavirus is more needed for babies who have other siblings who goes to sch, child care etc.
im considering rotavirus for the next appt on july as my niece goes to infant care and we are staying tgt.
u can check out clinics that have CDA Nets Payment Service. at least 50% of it is paid by govt. FYI, Tampines PD baby n child now have this service.

pinkdemoness, read about ur rants..hugs to u. dun say u r a lousy mum k..all mummies are the best in their babies' eyes. we must not judge or compare with others in terms of what additional 'wants' we can give. as long as we meet their 'needs', babies will be satisfied.

OMG I just busted like 100+ dollars buying fabric, ribbons, lace and all kinds of hair embellishments for my BB hair accessories and taggies projects. I better make sure I make it happen! Heng heng found a fellow hobbyist to share the loot if not I'll be spending close to 200 for sure.

for those mummies interested in getting purees, i saw at ntuc jus nw, having promo. usual price is $1.65, now is $1.45 per jar. =P the only thing i noticed is, they dun sell like purely 1 flavour.. theirs all mixed de.. like apples & pears.. carrots, potatoes & peas... hmm wld be good if purely 1 flavour...

i pump about 3times:
Approximate times:
1) 8-9am
2) 12-1pm
3) 4-5pm (pack & wash up)
First thing i do every morning is put the washed bottles and shield in microwave bag. Its super good, only 2mins to sterlise and can use already. Super fast!
