Thanks! The first VE upon admission showed that was 6cm dilated. Scared the nurses so much that they didn't even dare administer enema

Thanks for updating. Sorry, my mistake in the previous post. Mine should be natural assisted with epi. Baby was in severe distress and gynae wanted her out fast hence used forceps.

Dont worry, my boy also born at 36weeks 3 days. So is fine as long baby reach weeks 36.

im still waiting for contractions... the past hr i did have it 2 times for ard 5-10mins... shld be ba... becos menses cramp like but not really painful... then now nth le... but slight ache the left side of my lower abdomen... but other than that.. bb still kicking n moving on n off... guess will have to wait til monday...

monitor your cramps, cuz i started off with cramps, den came contractions at every 5 min interval,increasing in intensity.

miracle2me - now im monitoring... getting a bit of cramps on and off now.. but cld be false... so il jus wait til later tonight... =) if i can sleep means no problem.. ahahaha! hws ur lil one?

ya. initialy i tot was false alarm too and i tried to sleep . but was awaken by the contraction every 5-10mins and decided to go to hospital w/o taking any chance. And it was really a contraction i am experencing.
my lil one is doing fine, cuz of my long hrs of labour and epi, i was having a fever befor my delivery, so it was assisted with folcep, howver is glad my lil one is ok

now me doing some last min checking my hospital bag.. make sure have my charger... camera working.. haaa...
also taking out my breast pump... have not washed it yet... also havent charged the battery... will do it tmr... =P jus rinse in soapy water can already right? hmmm... not sure what else to prepare le... feeling so warm.. sweating again.. think ive bathed like 5times already today... later b4 sleeping shall bathe 1 more time... bth...

Hi mummies
Can check does any or u have feeling like baby head pressing down making way into birth canal.Dunno issit like I think too much since last night gt feeling like baby making her way out soon this morning wake wake even without contraction like gt feeling baby is very low.

Here is my birth story rather short.
3 Mar
9pm adminnted to GlenE normal ward
10pm insert dunno wat to soften cervix
4 Mar
1.30am felt a bit contraction every 2 mins, ask nurse to check whether is it normal. VE check says cervix still tight. I was like WAT??? confuse over gynae words, tot gynae says i am 3cm dilated???
2am insert to poo poo
3am went to sleep
530am breakfast came, happily enjoy
6am Push to labour ward. a bit worried.
The happening part happened:
4 Mar
7am Dr Tan came broke waterbag
7.30am I was put on drip. My contractions getting intense. ask nurse will it be more pain later. she says YES. I was like, i am still comfortable with this, but later HOW. OMG!!!
Between 8am to 9am everything was like very fast. Pain is very unbearable so nv notice the timing.
Hb went for breakfast tot i may not be due fast.
Told nurse i feel like pooing... VE check 4cm le
Mins later, I cant take it anymore asked for gas
I told nurse, i feel like pushing
VE check 6cm, was asked to call hb bk
Hb came back 8cm le.
I was like faster ask dco to come, i buay tahan liao. Keep wanting to push. BUt nurse not allowed me to push
5 mins later: Dr Tan came, fully dilated, with serveral push,
BB gal Kayle is out at 8.57am on 4mar
Natural without epi. 2.97kg, 48cm
Doc commented my labour was fast within 2 hrs. I am shocked myself.
I would like to thanks all mummies here. With one another support, i am able to go through labour without any worry, fear and stress.
instead is my hb worry. I keep calming him down.
Once again, Thank you for all support!

I also dunno izzit the head very low just can feel some pressure down there dunno issit I been thinking of labour till goo crazy liao haha. My next app with him is tue actually reali hope I dun need to see him at the clinic see him straight at hospital better.

haha that is the thing I am afraid of also I nw already gt abit pile but nt those very big kind but scare after pushing process will have big wan than with stiching can feel ur Ouchhhh...
But lucky thing u still manage to do it without epi which s super good lor.Hope I can be like u.

For nipple cream which contain lanolin as an ingredient, it will usually turn out sticky. I bought a nipple butter from Mums Essential in Suntec City (they have an outlet in KK also), it does not contain lanolin and is not sticky. I was previously using Avent and prefer this current one.

4.15am woke up with pain. Trying to differentiate if it is contractions or stomachache! With regularity, think it is due to contractions and got ready to go hospital
5.30am reached hospital, changed into gown, nurse did VE and found I was already 6cm dilated! Didn't dare to give me enema Heard that I want epi and they rushed the anaesthetist down to administer epi. I asked for epi straight away cos from my previous experience, my dilation can get very fast resulting in very intense pain.
8am Gynae came and check, still 6-7cm dilated. Broke water bag.
8.40am CTG monitor beeped bloody murder cos baby's heartbeat dropped to dangerously low rate. Did VE, fully dilated, baby's head low, gynae asked for forceps cos of emergency situation. Baby out within 2 pushes.

I didn't feel anything this time cos epi has kicked in by the time gynae broke water bag. In my first pregnancy, it was breaking water bag prior to epi. It was like a sharp pain, but very very transient. For me, the pain got very intense after water bag breaks which is why I asked for epi first this time.

Thanks! Only 9 more days and my hb is back.. everyday i count down with my girl. But now i dilemmia... wanna play MJ before she come out.. but the earliest i can play is on 20 Mar... But with each day delay that she comes out, my hb got one day less with her.. So my heart very torn... I know in the end is she decide.. but i cant decide what i wanna tell her once daddy touch down... lol
