just came back from my scan. i'm having a PRINCE

doctor said he is very active. so i ask how come i cannot feel his movements. she said that is because the placenta fats (think that's what she said) is on the front which is cushioning his movements, that's why i cannot feel anything.
so Kome, dun worry so much, cos it's due to the positioning of our placenta.
everything if fine except that bb's legs are a little above average, meaning having a little longer than usual legs. still cannot detect the full structure of the heart, so will go back to scan again in 3 weeks time.

I just did an estimated count. SO far we've 38 boys and 20 girls - - there abouts!

Meaning I can just pop by NUH for the scan? I'm seeing my gynae at TPS, KKH. Plus I'm an idiot, I didnt check the price. I guess I'm eager to see what the baby looks like. Maybe it's a first time mummy syndrome

I am worried not able becauese i cannot feel bb's movement but also my weight has just increase by 1kg till now. Haha.....thinking of bringing forward my appt by 1 week again.

My bladder is also very bad if I drink lots of water in the nite I will like go toliet like hell hate that feeling my cousin also preggy 1 month later than me but when like we are together I go toilet 3 time she onli go 1 time.Think my pelvis muscles very weak le so everytime like I come out from toliet than wan to go again haiz seems like so much urine nevr can finish wan. Sometime when I remember I will try do some kegel exercises lor hope it will help. Everytime when I sneeze I will also have leak so embarrassing I totally understand how u feel.Thats Y I am quite worry abt my sunday trip so scare haha keep wanting go toliet.

Ya lah got the common cold. Many at work have it too so it's bouncing off one another.

Anyways, it's always good to get your doubts clarified instead of worrying. Most of the time our worry is uncalled for so better to get the gynae to tell you that all is fine then to worry unnecessarily and effect your well-being (and pass on the stress to your baby). Bring your appt forward if you have too.

Stupid Kegel exercise! I think we need to do it over a looooong period of time before it takes effect. Yesterday, you won't believe it, I was at the clinic with my mum (she had an appt) and while waiting for the doc I coughed uncontrollably with a bull bladder and guess what? I wet my pants!!!! Despite having a panty liner on...sheeshh

yup tot of getting the details for KKH too. I suspect it's $300 plus from what I remember from a newspaper article abt 2 mths ago.

If NUH is cheaper, than will go for the cheaper alternative.
 
Wow, so many mummies already went for their DS and sharing their joy...me can't wait too, going this Fri.

Did any of u weigh how much u put on in the past 1 mth? I forgot to weigh myself at my gynae's vist last wk and weighed myself today....yikeS! Can't believe what I was seeing on the weighing scale! I've been on track, putting on abt 4kg for the first 4 mths, suddenly, in the last one month, I put on 3kg!!! But the funny thing is my appetite is as per pre-pregnacy days and when I snack in between meals, I take bread and bisuits only...like that can also put on so much weight??

Re baby's movement:
Yeah, been feeling it alot these few wks..esp when lying down. Once in the middle of the nite I awoke feeling hungry, but tot will try to sleep over it....then I feel my little one kicking inside...haha, as if to protest and want me to eat, so no choice have to wake up to eat.

Re wine/alcohol during confinement:
Will be using alot of rice wine / DOM during confinement. As long as it has been boiled/ cooked, the alcohol content will be evaporated, so safe to take even if BF. It's believed to help in relieving the "wind" from our tummy after giving birth

I think some time if u noe u gg to cough or sneeze u try to control ur pelvis muscles abit lor I noe its hard but try lor to avoid leaking I also always like that de very sian rite.

You're so funny! So far I've put on abt 6kg. I read in one of the baby books that from the 21st week, we'll begin to put on 1/2 - 1 kg per week! But that's cos of the changes in our body and baby's weight.

Sigh, I'm already having a difficult time coping with the additional weight and I would have to bear with at least another 8kgs or so!!

i started off being overweight even before pregnancy. so i really hope i dun put on more weight than should be. if not, i will have had time to shed cos i will be double overweight

dun think going for 3D scan lah... but will see if hubby keen or not. i was thinking using the money to buy other things for bb. anyway, best time to obtain good 3D images is from week 24 -28. so still have time to think whether to spend this money or not.
 
think abit waste of money le, anyway a few more months bb will be out.. scarly see till sianz.. especially when they cry.. OMG! hehehehe
