Wah... must be very exciting to hear the heartbeat just now. Good to know that your baby is good. Ur EDD is just 1 day after mine! Hee hee.. I shall ask the gynae if i can hear heartbeat tomorrow.
 
Woo... 8 pm soon... shall go bathe and get ready to watch rally! Have always been attentive for rallys but this year especially attentive... kekeke
 
Haha, Asura, you are so excited!

I hope my HB won't request switch channels later...( I Don't want watch in the room). He gets bored easily with Rallies speeches...he only wants me to summarise to him, or he rather read the papers as the papers usually will summarise in point forms. Hahaha

Now watching SuperBand on Channel U whilst waiting...Can feel abit abit cramp, maybe BB is rocking with the bands...Now BB is a Rocker!

went for my oscar test today..
the doc took a very long time scanning every little part of the bb, esp the neck area..my bb keep waving n kicking at me.. the doc said at one point the bb even turn at us n look us into the eyes.. we can blur blur see the eye socket pointed by the doc.. so cute.. knowing tat we r looking at him.. my bb measure 6cm today compared with 4.8cm last wk.. how fast they grow within juz a few days.. then after tat went for the blood test.. test result will only be out tmr the earliest..i 12wks n 4 days as of today..

Everyday brushing also feel like puking, especially when brushing the back of the teeth.

But don't want to waste my toothpaste so continue to use.

Actually i feel that the talk is very interesting. Lots of jokes. Better than previous PM's. Every year i look forward to national day rally. Think it is a love hate thing... no inbetween. My colleague dont like it but her husband like it.. hehe... Of course, this year got a lot more incentive to watch. Though my stupid worry mood is in today... now worrying abt my little fella

tats why i a bit hesitant abt letting my MIL care for our baby. i see my niece skinny skinny like a monkey. she dun like her friso milk but they never change to another brand or anything leh...then her porridge never eat finish all the time...haiz...
 
torayme - ur niece parents were they chubby when young? some ppl high metabolism rate... esp kids... my frn's baby also... doesnt finish her milk... then is quite small for a 6mth old baby... to the extent pple think she is 3-4mths... then my frn will bluff say ard 4-5 mths... -_-"

what is 1 week infant care leave? But unpaid? If unpaid, i cant be bothered unless i need leave so badly.
 
yeapie! bb bonus would be improved for first time parents! i am happy enough if they up it to equate those of 2nd and 3rd bb...
 
checked... when they up the maternity leave in 2004, it was effective from Oct 04. So this time should be same bah.... Oct 08?

oh gosh... dont know how to face boss on wed with an upcoming 16 weeks maternity leave!
 
i din catch the 6 days paternity leave. is there going to be one? hb not at home.. asking me what is there for daddys other than the bb bonus..

16 weeks is paid... 8 weeks paid by govt, 8 wks paid by employer.
6 days childcare leave.
one week unpaid infant care leave/per yr for 1st 2 yrs.

Just hope that the $$ numbers are good... i always wanted 3... but i think my hb would not be motivated with only maternity leave. The $$ got to be good for him since he like kids more than i do..

16 weeks for all children. The 4th month leave we can take in a span of the year the child is born. So no need to take immediately after the 3rd mth can play with I think and spread over the year.
 
Hmmm, now I'm thinking of the 4th month leave and how to convert it into 4 day work week for myself. Gonna discuss this with head when the time is right.
 


16 weeks is for everyone who give birth to a singaporean citizen child. Seriously am more interested in the cash... guess got to wait till end of week.
