Kome: Maybe monitor a bit more? Seems like staining is common. But bright red ah. :S Or maybe give your gynea a call for peace of mind?

My 1st pregnancy i did not face this problem so quite worry. Just called to my gynae, the nurse asked me to monitor if alot must go see Dr immediately if not i can go down in evening to see him.
 
kome:: please please take care!! keep going to toilet tosee whether got any more blood? bright red, is it something like maybe a cut or sometihng? not from the inside but maybe got a cut or pimple burst? ahh! you're worrying us!

strawberry: ehe if i were u, i would go back to check on heartbeat and if all is fine, will wait till later to see gyane. now for us at this stage, we just want to make sure we SEE heartbeat! hehe

I hope its a false alarm too but i just can't help thinking bad things. Will go toilet to monitor again later. Pray that everything is fine.
 
Hi Kome,
Every pregnancy will be different, and it doesn't mean anything. I understand your worries, but best to stay calm and monitor. Your gynae will probably prescribe you progesterone pills to stabilize the pregnancy. Try not to be too active during this period and abstain from intercourse for the 1st trimester. Stay off caffeine, too. Hope that helps.

Thanks everyone. Don't know is it due to my stupid hb disturb me last night. My hb is actually quite high sexual drive, i told him cannot have intercourse during 1st trimester. But he want me to help him orally.

Don't know is it due to ton le tai qi than came blood.

i oso told my hb tat the 1st trimester is important so no BD... lucky he's veri obedient n every night make sure i'm resting well =)
sometimes men's sex drive quite high, dun give oso bu ren xin...

Kome> Do take care and be careful ! Better check a few times today if still bleeding. 1st trimester is impt.
My 1st bb, there was no spotting or much cramps.
This round, a bit different, got spotting and cramps so also a bit worried.
 
kome and sun:: totally AGREE. esp after #1, i totally no drive anymore. ahha don't know if i'm abnormal but after #1, hubby's drive super high. don't know why but guess it's because so many months no sex. haha but not with #2, too bad for him haha!!

strawberry yes kome answered you le. normally after detect heartbeat, means all should be okay and will be 3wks to 1 month.

Same with you after #1, i totally no drive too. Normally hb request one and i just gave lor. I using #2 to reject him.....haha.....me very tired.

now i got the "tugging" pain on and off at lower right side. Is this caused by expanding uterus?
it feels a bit like UTI..just that the location is different. is this feeling normal?

WH: my appt was actually next week on 30 July. But i dun want to go..cos' my first experience not so pleasant. So i changed my appt to 3rd sept. My gynae is Dr Loke Kah Leong at Singapore women clinic. He came across as quite stern and non-smiling. Im still considering switching gynae but i want to find one closer to my home in tampines or at least at the east side.

Maybe you can help to update in excel once in a while? Cos i guess many changes in this period of time with more new MTBs joining us then later, the EDD all confirmed etc, so will be tiring for you to keep updating. Moreover the thread is moving very FAST, difficult to catch all updates!!! hehe...

I wonder if the MTBs here wanna update your year of birth... Hehe...

Update us on your visit. Maybe after 3rd month than can do in excel file to have a clearer pic. Think we have the same mindset, i also have this thinking to close shop at 30yrs old. After that got 1 or 2 I must close shop.

I do not feel any pain just got spotting, but now lesser already.
 
Err... last time i did put moisturizer, makeup, face masks etc all the way thru'out my pregnancy. But I do know there are preggies who go without makeup for the 9 mths.

But for nail polish, perming/straigthening hair are not advisable cos of the strong chemical used.

Coz i heard and read magazines before that some cosmetics and facial face products do have some chemicals that are not suitable for pregnant women, so to avoid all undernecessary things i don't use all these during my 9 mths pregnancy.

I guess moisturiser and stuff are ok ba. If not ok now when preggie, it's not ok on a daily basis cos too strong! Just use a safe and mild one i guess!!!

im using Dr's secret now. dunno whether it's safe. But i noticed my face is oilier now. i even got a breakout beside my nose.

I know some of the ingredients to avoid are Glycols, Phlates, Retinoids (Retin A) and salicylic Acids.

Yup, really hope so. Btw today is just my 6 weeks, not sure if able to hear the heartbeat or not if later go see my gynae.

Actually I don't put make up at all. I use facial wash for my face before preggy, so now i only use plain water to wash.
 
btw MTBS...there's a new magazine on babies out i think. i saw it in U magazine. Its call Babycare. i think i might buy it later.

that was my previous gynae. was deciding to try a new gynae or go back to him.. in the end, i lazy to do research :p yup, just make appointment. 1st apptm on 1 aug! shud be 7th week then

i read that 6 weeks onwards can see heartbeat. Hope you can see yours and share the exciting news with us! I only visiting gynae next fri when i'm 7.5 weeks, they dun have an earlier appt!

Sashamama, im also reading " what to expect when you are expecting" book. it's really a good book isn't it? My ex-colleague lent it to me before she left cos' that time i told her i am trying for baby. hehehe..she lent me quite a few books. But i tot i want to check out the mag too. thanks for the link!
