Morning all mummies
hi sun96,
yeah, i saw my bb's heartbeat last friday. This time, gynae let me hear bb's heatbeat
For #1, he didn't let me hear heartbeat at all. BB measure 8.8mm only. Very tiny but strong hearbeat. Can update my EDD is 15Mar09. Was given Utrogestan for an tai & anti-nausea pills to standby. 1st consultation cost me $225!! Pocket pichat

Your inlaws dun allow you to go for ultrascan?
I also plan to go only at week12 / when im 11 weeks pregnant unless i got very bad MS that caused a lot of vomitting or got some other problem then i will go and look for my gynae. Otherwise i will just go at week 11.
Today i wake up feeling very tired..cos' last night i slept very late. last night got migraine. this morning feel nausea.

Mayb u wld like to c Dr Woo at PP if u really can't wait...His charges quite reasonable...n he can c u immediately as long as his clinic is open for appt...

My gynae advise is nt to carry my gal. Even if I got to carry her, try to do it in sitting position. Nt gd for MTB.

I dun believe loh...I had done my scan for my 1st when in 1st trimester....for my 2nd 1 I still do it....So shld be no problem lah...
For all the mtbs,
Dun worry too much...nt gd for BBs...Hav to trust ur gynae n watever advise they give coz we got to stick wif them thruout our whole pregnancy leh...They r the professional n hav deliver countless BBs...Last time I used to worry abt tis n tat...but after tat I believe in my gynae n try to put my mind at ease, everything in my whole process of pregnancy go well n stress free!
So happy mummy = happy BB! And got to trust n feel comfortable wif ur gynae. If dun trust, is time to find another 1 liao.

Sun, i think if its U/s is not good for baby, all the gynaes wouldnt have done it, so i think medically its safe enough. I'm also feeling very weak today, outside skin feels cold, inside body feels warm, i just feel like lying down butt office very busy, need to finish my work....i'm also getting headaches each time after vomitting, all that also making me so tired...think tonite i'll sleep at 9.30....

According to my scan, gynae say i am almost 7wks.
When expecting #1, i am also given Utrogestan for the 1st trimester & dosage is higher (2pills 3times a day) Now, the dosage is lower (1pill 3times a day). These pills are abt the same as duphaston to help increase the progesterone to stablise pregnancy
But these pills are making me dizzy & very terrible nausea. I can't imagine having to pop multi-vitamins, fish oil & calcium pills during 2nd trimester...felt like a very sick patient.

I'm already popping fish oil. Here's my schedule;
morning w breakfast i take fish oil. Lunchtime i take w multivits. once a week i take calcium. night time take FA. Think 2nd semester will be better...yummy birds nest....

cheerios:: me still carrying my boy.. but it's like about 8.5 to 9kg so still lighter than yours. my gynae did tell me not to carry so much but sometimes raelly no choice cause he can't walk yet and he's super sticky to me. so i just carry him lah. as long as he don't kick it's fine. HAHAHA. I figure as we get bigger, we can still carry once in a while? I saw many big tummy mommies carry their #1 sitting on the tummy. hahaha!!

I have went for my check up on sat, guess what I waited 2hrs just to see my gynae even make appt. also no use. Stoned there for 2 hrs sigh... She tried to scan my baby and for heart beat, than cant seem to detect. So she do it by internal scan from below. Then can see my baby in the right position and also heartbeat. According to her my due date is 8th March 2009, but she did say I will sure be earlier as my 1st birth Im early by 18 days in advance, so she say I might mostly fall on Feb. This time the print have the heartbeat graph also, the the size of the sect is 1.49cm. So have to go back to see gynae in a month time. For me I feel tired and kept wanting to lay down on bed to sleep. sun96,
Dont worry the pills given are safe to take. My previous pregnancy I was also given that took it all the way for 1st trimester, steph is right that is to stable the baby in your womb.

taking pills Im use to it. Now Im taking folic acid, my blood pressure medicine, calcium, omega-3 fish oil and multi-vitamins. Everyday pop 5 pills in the morning with Hi-Low fresh milk.

i am not complaining but i am just wondering if i am crazy cos i am going thru the whole process again which seem like yesterday only. My #1 only 6mths ma...when i delivered #1, i reminded myself that i am not gg to get preggy so soon cos i wanna enjoy the freedom to anyhow eat whatever i like & to be able to sleep on my tummy, able to enjoy foot reflexology, i don't like confinement period etc...now i have to wait till 9mths later & repeat this process

My LMP is on 17 Jun 08. I should be in my week 6 starting tomorrow. Cant help it but worry a lot... cos earlier in Dec, my AF did not come for 8 days, i experienced all forms of MS but in the end the AF came. Though i din do any tests then... so not even sure whether i was pregnant then.... So this time round, i am still worried. Though already 10 days late by now. Last wed, i used a lab test strip, tested positive so woke my hb up and took another test using clearblue, also another definite +ve result. Told my GP and he said no need to do another test to confirm, 2 is sufficient.
