hi Liv,
yup! thats me!! Mr Ong is very honest. He didnt even wanna charge me coz he couldnt solve the prob with my aircon as it was too old. i had to force him to take some money from me as he had to drive all e way to my place. i recently moved to a new place and am contracting an air con company to do regularly cleaning and servicing. I can get the contact from hubby if you are looking for one. I like this guy that we are dealing with too. very reliable and honest.

Ali, Not mo gui xun lian la... I have to inspect her do work, cos she do things half-past standard one.
Just now she slept in my mum's kitchen! I know she may b tired but also cannot sleep mah!
Then yest evening 5pm nia, once she finish mopping floor, she went to brush her teeth! Then at 6pm, she go and take bath. Piangz...
I dun get to brush my teeth and take bath till 10pm last night!

Jes, i have been scolding her (my maid) these 2 days... hai... I told my hub, after giving birth, i look like i got older by 10yrs. Now with maid, i look like 20 yrs older!
Anyway, i told her if she dun feel like working for me, she can tell me, i will send her back lor. kekeke... Bad mdm!
No choice, someone has to be t bad guy. My hub is too soft hearted, my mum is too lenient

Jes, ya.. will see how lor. Anyway, tmr i go back work liao, so no chance to monitor her. My mum too lenient, will not complain much to me.
Lian, tats what i told my maid too - if they are sincere abt working, then do a good job, else go back dun stay here and be miserable and "torture" us!
tink u hv to tell yr mum can't be so lenient, else the maid will really see you as the bad mdm, then when u r back at home with her, she sure will show u attitude wan.

how much do we need to incur if we change maid? read somewhere that one employer had paid almost $10,000 changing maids in 1 year. altho the agent fee may be free/waived, there are still other costs like insurance, thumb-printing (??!) that we need to pay for every new maid right?

happywifey, i dunno exactly how much. My estimate is abt $350. Cos the insurance is $200+ liao.. Then the training fee, medical chkups etc.
$10,000 a year like a bit kua chang.

happywifey, this is what i understand - if ur contract with the agency has a replacement policy within a stipulated timeframe, then yes the agent fee will be waived during that period if u change maid, and u wld only need to pay for the new maid's insurance, medical, etc... which will not cost a bomb like 10k... that employer perhaps has changed countless maids tats probably the reason bah.
Lian, only 2-3 days show black face liao ah, then it's really NO GOOD! not trying to add oil to fire, but i feel the attitude is already not rite liao.
Ya, ke lian is one thing, but they hv to know why they are here... not say we force them to come rite. Yr mum is nice to allow more time, but tink u hv to tell her not to show different standard from u, else the maid will only show u more displeasure.

yah, i think that employer changed quite a few maids. but if we have to keep changing and incurring the $350 thereabouts each time also quite heartpain leh

my baby also recently not sleeping well
last nite she woke in the middle of the night and kept crying everytime we put her down in her cot, and only finally slept after 2 hours of pick up/put down!! btw, how do u know its cos of erupting molars? my baby has 4 on top and 4 at the bottom, is it time for her molars to come out already??!

i see, last nite my baby slept abit better, woke only once or twice. hv been using dentinox some time back but recently stopped after she slept better when she turned 1. does your baby sleep in your room with you?

doing a poll: which brand of diapers are u using?
hv been using pampers all the while but am thinking their buttocks not so sensitive now no need to use so exp diapers, haha. tried huggies but my baby was in between size and her urine all leaked out cos it was too big!

I've tried alot of brands(Dryers, Pet Pet, Huggies, EQ, Pampers, Mamy Poko and Nepia) ever since he is borned. Seems like Pet Pet suits him so continue. Cheap and gd.
U r right, Pet Pet dun have pull ups.
So far for pull ups, I've only tried Huggies and Drypantz. Both are ok.

Today is my first day of work of 2010. Keke.
Went KL over the long weekend and Lucas is back w fever. Last nite sleep ... cry on and off. Morning woke up also keep cry ... only wans mi and MIL. Haiks.
My new maid is really SO FAR SO GOOD. She already intend to renew her contract w us. But we shall see when the time comes. Haha.

yah noticed that petpet is alot cheaper! but my baby had rashes last time when we changed brands so didnt dare to be too 'adventurous'. think will try that since there are good feedback
do u know if the sizing is the same as pampers? my baby is wearing L moving on to XL for pampers.

my baby will also get angry when she doesnt get her way. we have long ago decided she is not the girly type of girl, rather bad-tempered and impatient. quite hard to discipline her too.. the more we say 'no', the more she will do, sigh!

haiz.. looks like we hav quite a # of bad-tempered kids here.. My gal also definitely not guniang guniang type.. i treating her like a boy instead.. She also sometimes like to piak face or head.. If we fiercely say no she'll act kelian.. If we purporsely cry she;ll sayang
