it's better to buy baby carrier from authorised retailer or distributor. any prob, can send back and sue them.

my pd said to feed cereal etc first then immediately latch to top up. Bb will drink as much as needed. I read the same from books so that's the method I'm following. If u r on fm, then I think whitepaper's method is good. Mix fm to cereal till smooth, then feed remainder milk to top up feed. Or until bb doesnt wanna drink anymore, ie full liao lor.

Kate now eating quite a lot. I roughly follow this Asian parenting bk from library. Today is day 10 I think. Yesterday she took 3 tbs rice cereal, 2 tbs carrot, 1 tbs apple at 11 am before I top up with latching. for 530pm feed gave her 2-3 tbs rice cereal before latching. I mix rice cereal with ebm. by the time they take 7-8 tbs no need to top up with milk liao.

You can start off with giving your boy a spoon of cereal in between his milk feed to see his reaction. If he likes it, you can replace his lunch milk feed with a bowl of cereal. My girl is currently taking Frisocrem rice cereal in the afternoon, 3 tablespoons of cereal with 100ml of water. She loves it...
 
Have anyone tried using Munchkin Baby Food Grinder to puree baby food? Apart from the Braun blender and sieve, anyone tried other methods?

Intend to puree boiled/steamed fruits and vegs for my girl, instead of giving her bottled ones. Looking around to see which is the easiest method...

it's good to get a full set, grinder-grind rice, blender for fruits/ vegs purees, fruits extractor-next time you can make fruit/veggie juice when your bb is older
