Actually i also cannot eat. Coz of my GD. But... mooncake is once a year. I'll try to control and eat a bit at a time. Hopefully giant don't absorb too much and give me another shock.

It's not the Endo brand I saw, it's the La Gourmet one, 2.5 litres nia very small but juz nice to cook porridge for junior think got a free thermal flask somemore, am going JP's JL now and look look see see hahahaha...;p

Hi All!

Finally I have some time to log in since Baby Mikayla is sleeping after her feed. I hurt myself yesterday cos baby was crying and I was so anxious that I got out of bed to fast and pulled a muscle. The pain was so bad I had to take painkillers and stay in bed all day. Now have to nurse my c-sect wound plus muscle pull....sigh. Luckily DH and maid very hands on to help me with Mikayla.

Hospital Bag....
Maternity Pads
I brought the whole pack of maternity pads and ended up using only a few as the first 2 days the nurses changed and sponged me as still relatively immobile. They used the Kotex looped pads which were quite ok. So if your bag is over stuffed you might just want to bring along about 10 pads to tide you through till you discharge.

PJs
I brought 2 "karmy" ones and found that is was not enough for my stay. Had to get DH to bring more PJs from home for me. I was particular about changing everyday for hygiene. My stay was about 5 days.

I think someone mentioned using a trolley bag? I saw some mummies using it, although it may seem a bit exaggerating but I think it is more convenient. As I ended up lugging my hospital bag, baby's bag from TMC, freebies from TMC (2 bags), gifts and flower baskets. The porter had to help us and we filled up the whole trolley!

If any of you need advice on prep for your delivery let me know i am happy to dispense advice since I am now considered 'experienced' mummy too! Hee hee....

2) Arrival of new prince and princess of Goldfish and busybee. Candle's pretty baby gal also doing well.

To others with some problems let's bear with it and get thru together:

RibenaLi: hope your cramps have gone away. If not maybe you should bring it up to your doc. My doc put me on med since 31w.

Diane: Relax and don't get too stressed over work. When is your husband exam? Maybe he trying to study more now, so that when closer to your EDD he can afford more time with you?

long time no login liao.. not feeling veri gd recently.. the poke poke and tight feeling is getting from bad to worse

went to see doc and told him i need to rest then ask him can give me hosp leave mah.. he say ok but dunno my HR ok mah so ask me go check.. end up i hv to admit to hosp for 1 day in order to take the HL. anyway now back home liao.. gotta rest and cant walk much.. suddenly hv the feeling that my boy shld come out fast but scare will be premature bb.. sigh.. so confuse

I used the Pureen maternity pads which you mentioned when i delivered my boy and found it comfortable since it is long enough and not so much worry about leakage.

Juz Us,

I'm working in MOF and they didn't ask me for any gynae letter. My EDD is 10 Oct and i can start my ML earlier if i want. BUT if let's say i start my ML on 2 Oct and baby arrives earlier, then my ML will start from the date the baby arrives which also means i have to cancel the vacation leave and readjust the dates. SO i am hoping the baby arrives after 2 Oct so that it won't be so troublesome.
