last time when i had lil Rachel. my MIL oso told me to throw away my dog which i have kept for many years.
i told her i had my dog before i got married. so i will not give him away. never!!
i ever told her b4, if ur son, my hubby finds u irritating & throw u away how u feel.

Yes, she is cantonese. But my father in law is Hock chew, not cantonese. I've asked ard my cantonese frens, they mentioned nowadays very few DIL call MIL lai lai unless she very rich, well to do and good life.
Unless my customary (next year) everything she pay. I'll knee down during tea ceremony, roll here roll there oso can. No prob calling her lai lai. But she very stingy, I once mentioned abt " si dian jin" in front of her, she straight away told me, my son dun have tat much $$$. In my heart, i'm tinking of coz lah, u money sucker. Took away my then bf, current hubby's money, still got the cheek to say.

I'm not sure if mine is called the playyard. It is a type of fencing where we fence it around the bumper playmat. Very useful and it helps my son to learn to stand up by holding to the fencing. We bought from Kiddy palace. 1 set is too small to fence up the playmat so we bought 2 sets which are just nice. Now my son is using it to learn how to stand up w/o support.</font>

i also have yellow discharge leh. most of my friends got it when they were pregnant too. Btw ur MIL really horrible old woman. u shld reply her "ya confirmed 100% gal already. I hope my next bb will be a gal too"!!

My MIL also like that, she will tell me dun eat too much chili etc wait bb's complexion not good..this and that etc..at the end of the day, its the grandson she cared abt, not me. I rememberd when i first knew my HB and went to their house for dinner, she dun let me eat rice ok?..she just said "u dun eat lar, then oush my hand away when i wanted to take a plate"...bloody hell leh...

Everyone has their own versions of their MILs... Mine is a horror too... she is all about complaints and i just cant stand her at times...
She even tells my HB tat i shd not buy baby stuff till about 8 mths pregnant... then without even asking her although i never plan to leave my daughter there... she had this comment abt a mth ago... When u deliver pls dont send ur daughter here ah... very ma fun la...

my MIL damn fake one lar. Many years back, she even suspected that i stole her $$ ok? her $50 missing and because i am the only non-family member around, became prime suspect lor. Eventually no one know who took or whether she spent it but cannot remember...BUT i will remember it for life. Who cares abt $50...i think i have more money than her man...
my MIL damn fake one lar. Many years back, she even suspected that i stole her $$ ok? her $50 missing and because i am the only non-family member around, became prime suspect lor. Eventually no one know who took or whether she spent it but cannot remember...BUT i will remember it for life. Who cares abt $50...i think i have more money than her man...

i endured because of my HB lar...then sometimes when he made me angry or when we quarrel, i will think back and ask myself why am i suffering all these for...sigh...
anyway it happened long ago...sometimes sad things i try not to recall, but once i recalled, i can feel the anger building up inside me.
