hey, u know they just opened an outlet at Vivocity? Bigger and have more shoes/sizes/designs. I love their italian leather shoes. but take care not to buy those with slippery leather soles.

I haven't had time to go BloomingCHic. Plus cos I'm not working, I don't feel v good spending too much money on clothes etc. So i just go for cheap clothes tt I think still look good. So far, my $12 dance pants are serving me well as are my $12 vintage tees. A bodyknits toga dress for $20. ON dress for $34+ .The most ex clothing article is the Spring denim shorts I got for $50. That just abt makes up my entire maternity wardrobe. Still going about in my Birkis. Been through MGM Grand and Wynn in that so I guess it means I still look pretty decent. Hehe.

Stef: Level 4 DS scan can take video on our own? My gynae's nurse said can.

my kids names starts with S- Stefanie, Sean and now Sharmaine.
for the chinese names, the grandsons of my FIL will hv to follow a a family name 孝 followed by - 光宗耀祖. my son is 2nd grandson so his name is 孝宗.

for granddaughters, as long as start with 慈. behind character anything will do. my gal's name is 慈慧. so my #3 can be named 慈恩. but subjected to FIL's approval.

Hb and I looked thru two baby name books last night and have narrowed down, well still about 7-8 names per gender, the names we like (English). Now that we have some boys names, feel a lot better, in case ours are boys! Previously I could only think of girls' names. Heh, we even asked Adan which ones can "pass" and which ones he doesn't like...so have his feedback already.

For chinese names we will go to the same guy who picked Adan's name. he uses numerology and alos sees the five elements to count strokes/recommend characters.

Ok, u r a catholic, so u probably won't get those masters to calculate for you. I did wanna use one emperor's name but my hb told me he heard that certain emperors' names might not be suitable for commoners, i.e. the chinese say, 受不起. But well, that's in China. We're in modern SG.

sigh, my in laws will be engaging a master to calculate for the boy. Supposedly must match the child's own bazi and the parents' bazis too. It's all too greek to me.

Ava: i think agencies are a lot more fun. i won't rule out moving bk there after my bb has grown older. there's a greater exposure...used to organise fashion shows, product launches, exhibitions, mingled with those HK/TW celebrities and models. loved it...

Ci Xi is the name of the dowager. Eeks! Dun name bb that…she is quite an aggressive character. Also, why cannot use Emperor’s name? I would use it if I like it. Hehe. My family surname is WANG, supposed to be royal descendants..so tt means I have more reason to have a ‘royal’ name?

More about Chinese Names: We gotta be careful what we name our kids. I’ve known some people with Chinese names that sound quite funny…. Here are some examples (no offence intended to anyone with similar names tho…): Chee Hong, Zhen Zhao Yang ( if you get the pin yin wrong, sounds like ‘Terrible Disaster’!)

my son;s name is chih-yu (智语). it was derived from the bible. meaning 'set apart in creation' coz both are qualities found in genesis that sets man apart from the rest of creation. strange thing is, when we went to taiwan, we accidentally went for a fengshui talk...(they told us it;s 'history of chinese culture or something), the master saw my son's name and said it's a very good name. and my son will have the blessed life with nothing lacking blah blah blah...nothing even to buy for him from the palce....hhahahaha...so anyone wants me to pick a name for your child???kekekek..

How old is ur daughter already? My gal have been with them for 3 terms already.. since last October intake.. well, my advise is tat if you are going to put ur kid in Shichida.. you need to slowly pick up doing home practice.. if not, I think no point sending your kid to this school.. I’ve seen kids tat was not send to Shichida been brought up better and more educated.. coz I think the mother or parents play a very important role is tat kid life..

In fact, when I enroll my gal in this school.. there were objections around me.. with my SILs.. they will thinking tat Chloe is too young to know anything and to learn.. hey, how much does ur kids know always depending on ur input to your children… we are the one giving them knowledge.. of coz.. if you want you children to grow up in a care free way.. it’s the parent choice.. and I respect tat.. Do what you think it’s good for your children..
