ur mil is the other extreme species loh.
for my mom, or any other kind elderly (like valnsw in laws), they do not mind doing all the chores, etc. all they asked for is a little bit of love, care, concern, peace, joy / harmony, they easily contented liao. but when u do so much for these ingrateful pple who only noe how to take u for granted, do things to make u angry, say aorry more than thank you.
of cos elderly also will feel abit neglected or taken for granted de loh.
ur mil should be the same type as my sil mother...love $, dun help out type.

Yes he is very supportive becos that will means he dun have to be the one teaching! Actually we discussed and then decided that mandarin is more difficult to pick up so we should let the kids focus their attention on that. Plus mandarin is more beneficial in future i guess

Sorry, no time to update my blog.. Been busy trying to re-decorate their room, chasing after the gals, planning activities for the gals.. These days they are extremely restless.. Also perfecting my chocolate cake.. haizzz.. now finally found one, but cannot do fondant.. very disappointed.. Imagine, since Monday, I've baked five different version of chocolate cake.
Anyway.. so far their meals are almost similar with a little variation
~ Pumpkin, spinach couscous with meat or fish.
~ Sweet potato, carrot in meat sauce over couscous served with fish
Will be trying out Creamy Mushroom pottage and minced peas served with fish.
That's about it so far..

Well! actually it's only 3 version, 2 of them being modified and 1 was from Jen. And this happened to be the one that I like best, unfortunately cannot use fondant over it.. too moist. In fact, I misread Jen's recipe and got one of the ingredient wrong, but fortunately, it turned out better den expected.
My poor guinea pigs are my hb, maids, neighbour and neightbout's badminton kakis.. Haha! I now got order for the Chicken pie and durain cake liao..

I think E is not taking FM v well. We feed once a day 11pm and he seems to have digestive problems, keep crying (i think tummy ache)...sigh!

Happy Birthday Baby Dawn!
Yesterday bring braiden to the open gym @grace kids.. There are only 1 baby there n 2 ang moh toddlers (twins).. Braiden happily playing with the balls n the walker toys then one of the twin came up to him n take his walker toy away.. The maid came n grab him away. Then nevermind, Braiden move on to another toy.. Then when he wanna play with the ball, the same boy came up to him again n take the ball away..Braiden tries to get it back n the other evil twin brother came up n help to bully braiden by taking he ball away forcefully. Hubby was beside Braiden n he got angry (protective) n he hit the ball very hard with a loud thump! This scares the twins away... From then on, they dont dare to come near Braiden liao. The maid also shocked...quickly pulled the boys away.

i wish i had this problem. my ss seems to know when to diminish. i started pumping 2x this week and already, my ss has automatically gone down after 1 day of doing so. with 3 pumps i produce about 260ml. now with 2 pumps it's about 210ml. so sad. i dun think i have a problem dropping to 1 pump but will hold off until jonah's first birthday. now at least he gets to drink 1 feed of BM each day. can't wait to start him on fresh milk!

For my first two, i have to take pills to stop supply... this time round, i will try to do it slowly.

Yes u are rite abt Phase 2A1/2A2 getting a place in the school.
I jus called my old school and they said so far it's 100% success rate! YAY! Like dat i dun have to worry about being PV or staying within 1-2km le!!
Btw i felt so paiseh when she asked me which yr my ger was born, i bluffed her and said 2007 and she laughed! hahaa..

For my case, answer is yes..they dun differentiate whether u studied in its pri or sec sch level.

Phase 2A1 is for old boy/gal who have had joined the alumni. Usually you don't need to do anything at the alumni, just need to pay $ to join and use it when needed.

for the past year, if you are an old boy/gal, you will get a place in your old school. unless the policy changes as per wat snow and m2b suggested...

yup, cayla on full FM for about 2 months aledi...
regarding the cabbage, remember to peel off and wash the leaves then put into your freezer with ziplock bags... take out 2 pieces to put on each time, it will be freezing cold, when you feel that the cabbage is not cold and look a bit "cooked" you can remove them liao... think around 10 to 15mins each time ba... i more kiasu, use them daily for almost a week then really no more milk liao...

Dunno why but I kinda feel very irritated/digusted with the pump suction recently. Guess it affected my supply greatly.

The longest stretch he can go without a suckle is 3 hours.. and that is if my in laws take him out for a walk or something. Otherwise.. he suckles gosh.. way way too often.

i know what you mean, i stop pumping in office for quite long liao, maybe since may or june. its very sad to see my ss so low especially when i used to have good ss. if we go by 1 fm night feed, still have about 7 weeks of fbm to last. but if i go by 2 fm feed after 1 year, maybe fbm can last another 2-4 weeks.

Like cereal in the moring n porridge/pasta for lunch/dinner.. n some snacks in-between. I give him a variety of food.. so even no drink milk also ok.
