Youpi,
you're so right about letting the world outside entertain the young children... i've run out of ideas and toys to entertain the boy at home.. so much so he's playing with the cane. but going out can get quite daunting on me sometimes...
as for peekaboo, it was some time back. 2 Sikh boys tried to bully my son - throw a big ball at my son, tried to hit him and me when i tried to stop them. and the staff there just stood and "see show" until i had to ask them if they are going to do anything about it. plus the place felt stuffy and dark...
we may be checking out a new fun place at Kovan later this afternoon. will feedback when i get a chance.
SY,
count me in on the sticker books thanks
wow... long leave?! enjoy your time with your family!
cellow,
i agree with SY, not easy to find teachers with heart nowadays. if C1 is comfortable in his current school, then don't change la... there'll be endless stuff for them to learn in time to come. initially i also wanted to bring my boy to enrichment classes coz heard my cousins/friends' kids attend this class, attend that class, etc... then later i thought to myself, there will be plenty of tuition classes and other stuff for him when he's older. so now, i'll just let him have some structured learning time and lots of doing nothing and giving me headaches for a while longer. that's why i'm hesitant about putting him in full day cc. on the flip side, my headaches are getting worse! hahaha...
PB,
your illustration about the frog and butterfly reminded me of something my hb said about nursery rhymes... how morbid some of them can be. just think about it... Humpty Dumpty, Jack and Jill, London Bridge, they all fell down. and how about the Old Woman who swallowed a fly... ? hahaha..
Dustee must be busy moving and cleaning house...
Re

ronunciation
my boy can't pronounce the C, G, and K... so Gonggong becomes TongTong, Kite becomes Tike.. etc...
