I got mine from Baby hypermart at Kakit Bukit. 299, comes with mattress plus one set of bedsheet set. One of the few cots with 4 adjustable levels. Can consider.....

Cot vs Playpen
I have the 4-in1 cot too! Find it useful as my boy sleeps in his own room and with the cot, won't worry that he'll wander off. But we're thinking of converting it to the toddler's bed after he turn 2 in Mar so that he will get used to sleeping in a bed before the bb arrives.

We have a playpen at my ILs and we had to stopped using when he was around 1 'cos he could climb out of it. It was also rather light and I was always afraid it would topple over (thou it didn't!).

Food
I've been giving in to my cravings for instant noodles! Know it is not good and so try to tahan... but the giam giam taste is really shiok lor! The same goes for laska... have been taking also! So shiok!

I also ate a lot of crabs and seafood when I was carrying my boy... had cravings for them then... this time round, not so

Wah, some of you know liao... congrats! Seeing my gynae this Sat, hopefully bb will cooperate and let me know... then can start shopping liao!

ask you ah, are your tummies bigger than last time? Even though I am only in my 14th week, I have already dug out my maternity clothes, particularly the pants to wear liao... I remember the last time round, I only started wearing when I was like in my 5th month... my bum seemed bigger this time too! Sob! Sob!

Me, surprisingly NO. At 17+wks still can fit my normal clothes even my suits, though now a bit fuller and occassionally tight for pants after heavy lunch. I remember my previous pregnancies, i started to wear maternity clothes when i'm was only 12wks. No preggie bottoms during that time since my skin at stomach was very sensitive then.

I read the book to know more about GD. It seems that the chances of getting it on subsequent pregnancies is higher. Hmn.. Think I have to ban rice/noodles... and my favourite fries!!

The book also said that it basically doesn't pose real harm to mummy and baby even diagnosed with GD if it's under controlled. The impact could be that baby could be very large size. Worst, baby got GD, and will have to be given insulin after born... Poor thing...
So for our babies sake, ban all high carbo foods.

I always wanted to ask this but often being so forgetful. After you ladies taken obimin, do you notice that your urine will became dark yellow? It gradually gone after few rounds of visiting the loo.
I thought I didn't take enough water initially. But lately I can tolerate plain water better, drinking more now, but same thing still happening to me.

And I also find that my bladder also giving me wrong signals. Often feel like going washroom but in the end passing a bit only... Then one hour later have to go again..

thought that this should not be happening in 2nd tri. Afraid got urine infection le.

i have the same problem.
very yellowish urine colour and with a smell...
i also thought i didnt drink enough water, so it's not water loh. anyway i have stop taking both the calcium tablet and obimin.
as obimin has cause constipation.

and i do visit the toilet super often.
i don think is urine infection ba.
it's more of the baby occupying the urine deposit space. heehee.

went to see my little baby today, asked to do a scan as I was worried (only put on 0.1kg) but baby turned out alright and active (9.1cm!) detailed scan another 2 visits away.. gynae was saying too early to tell the gender but we thought we saw a little something juz now! umbilical cord??

When passing urine, I do feel that something is 'blocking' on the V area lor. And only passed out abit. The situation is quite similar to urine injection, but no pain la. *touch wood*

I'm just not very comfortable with it as during my #1 time, I did't have this problem. Maybe will go visit a GP when I have time, just want to be very sure.

Passing Urine
Frequent passing of urine is common as baby's growing body pressing near the urinary organ. However, if there is pain when passing urine, then it is urine infection. For those taking obimin and calcium, do remember not to take them together. Advice from pharmacist, take obimin and multi-vitamin (if any) in the morning while take calcium in the evening.

Hi Ladies,

Going toilet:
I'm having same problem of urgency to pee but only droplets sometimes nothing come out. So i tahan then lower tummy started feeling pain esp at night when i refuse to wake up to go toilet. asked gynae. he said spank the baby!? anyway.. i've been trying to drink more water but sometimes drink one mouthful also feel like throwing up. worse, can't drink sweet drinks

so can only find out in 4 weeks time. and i have not gained any weight so far. weight still stuck at 41kg...

my tummy also show faster this time round. i already started wearing my maternity pants and skirts 2 weeks ago and some maternity tops this week.

i did try to convert the cot to toddler bed but i decided that maybe i shd just get my son a bed instead. so that i wont have the hassle of trying to shift him from the cot/bed when second one comes. i prob will get him a bed before second one comes cos my son uses the cot for his naps now.

i am going to moved house this sat and i cant participate in the moving. i had to stay at my BF house while he goes over to help me. basically, it's our own bed that is of a concern. but why do you have to shift other ppl bed? i don't even change the bedsheet. my future mil say cannot. beside sleeping on the bed, i can't do anything else on the bed.

I think most of us don’t really care can eat or cannot eat, we just whack whatever we want! Haha. But many gynaes say better to just eat what you can keep down instead of just aiming for good stuff that will ultimately end up being thrown up anyway.

Today at NTUC I bought one mushroom chicken cup. Hubby frowned and said ‘is this msg free?’. Please la, if want to eat unhealthy food might as well go all the way right? Better to be unhealthy and satisfied rather than unhealthy and not satisfied. Anyway I don’t care, I just buy haha

Now I’m peeing so often leh. Though normal pee. I only take folic acid now and I drink so much water it’s scary. At work I have a 800ml bottle. By lunch time I would be on bottle #3 liao. I pee like 3-4 times an hour :S I should move my desk to the toilet
