violin and short fingers. well ong lip tat has short fingers too (on the piano though) but that din stop him fm having a successful performing music career.
but i dun think my ears can stand the vioin practice. violin played badly is an audio offence, like fingernails across blackboard. yeeeech.

music classes: the music schools that i enquire with only accept 3 yo and above for classes teaching all musical instruments. i never got a chance to ask them why... any mommies here can enlighten me ? thanks

i called up manderville just now and was told have to wait till Nov for "meet the teacher" session for their violin class to assess whether they will take my son. and if want to sign up for a new class, we'll have to wait till next year. wow, this music school must be very popular and good!

thanks for concern. after having a T18 bb, i'm not very sad abt early mc coz i'd rather my body tells me when i am or i am not ready for a healthy bb than to fight against nature.

although we've not met, thru your postings on FB, i think you're doing a great job with your children. but i guess boys will be boys no matter how old they are hahaha... my dad is pass 60 and yet he still behaves like a boy...

p/s: recently my son learn that mommy is a woman, daddy is a man and he is a boy. sometimes i feel like telling him, daddy is a boy too... hehehe...

I chose the school that offer music so that I can test out kayden's preference before I waste the money on proper class.

i forgot to specify... the Mandeville trial class is for Pre-schooler Music Exploration Course. i was told to come back after son turns 3y5m old if interested in the instrumental classes....
 
Quick one: anyone has a walker that they dont want anymore but is in pretty decent condition? Can give me? =) Thats the only way to keep mini xun entertained coz she can roam around herself! I can go pick up. TIA!

this morning BB did something that really irked me (carried poppy and SMSed at the faulty traffic light - he thought it was ok but i think it's never bad to be too safe) and we exchanged a few words in harsh tones. poppy said "mama cannot scold papa". so i said "if papa is not naughty then i won't scold him. just like if you are not naughty i don't scold you right?" hahahahaha

i got a karcher. it's black and yellow and incredibly cute, and best of all, it's my hubby's toy :p it's his job to clean the mattresses and i refuse to learn! i only vacuum floors hehe

C1 is not on any enrichment classes as most of those are in the afternoon. i will start him on some (dunno what though) when he goes onto full day school in Jul.

Anyone knows how to hard boil quail egg ah? Same as normal egg? We went to the farm last week and got a pack of quail egg and veg free hehe. Poppy loves hard boiled quail egg! But I don't know how to cook it!

They've got a few. I heard Storyworks is simply a "glorified way of storytelling" and not really worth it. The kids sometimes showcase what they've learnt during the school parties so it may be a good idea to attend to see. Like the chinese drama group often performs at poppy's school

LOL! Youpi = yay! in French. It's the title of a track (from Kid Loco's album Jesus Life for Children Under 12 Inches) which I had been listening to when I joined the forum. Dunno about the Chinese meaning if any, but "got fart" is certainly apt as I live with three males who think that farts are God's gift to mankind's sense of humour.

Dd i have also got delphin. My mum has rainbow that served her for errrm abt 15 years and just went dead recently. Not sure if she revived it though. I love delphin. It makes my floor and mattresses clean. And i like the fact that it can purify the air too. Prob the only thing that it is not as good as rainbow is it cannot suck water up from the floor so we can wash the floor in that sense. Or can it? Just that i am not aware of it?

i dun think tis the eggs itself. also the things that eggs are usually cooked with to make sweets, cakes, tarts etc plus fried stuff in chinese cooking.
PLUS the fact that i am conscious of wat i eat in order not to trigger C2's allergy.

like you and other mummies, if tis just me, heck la, i would eat first, diet later. but when it comes to my children, oooooooh, i will do anything for them... including give up my fav patissier cakes. *sob*

I think can use as wet vacuum. Cuz I've done it before. Spill juice on the sofa so I used delphin to suck it out.
