Hi Roooller & Fennie, thanks for sharing on the pouches over at MIM. I will probably drop by next week (Tues to Thurs) and ask them to teach me the sling thing. Mine is a deluxe sling given by my cousin. Not cotton sling... a more cooling material but I also use until sweat when I tried it. like Zuen, I see my baby in a awkward position thou he can still sleep. but also scared not good for his development.
Zuen, I also just started taking 3pills trice daily after advise fm ladies here on Fenugreek. My MS haven't increase. I will wait a few more days and see how. Right now, I am feeding baby 2 FM feeds a day... the times when after latching, he is still hungry. Samsoon, pei fu your determination! Still got goat's rue, etc to increase MS!
Btw, we were talking about menses the other day. I started to have menses yesterday lei. Tot BF won't have menses... anyone can advise what's happening? Can still continue to bf right?

i fold mine up then place in a normal plastic food container, once frozen, transfer to ziplock bag...anyway my collection only 50mls to 110mls...long way to go but storing up bef i go back to work..

weekend go ntuc to buy ziplock bag. homeware got 20% discount now.... hee hee....
i guess when u buy, must see whether can freeze or not. i buy those cheapo ones from popular bookshop. not lock lock brand. those can freeze one.... maybe depends on brand.

I dun have a separate freezer to store EBM, find it too expensive. And I dun put into ziplock bags/lock n lock container too, just freeze/dump at a separate fridge compartment. Are we supposed to put them inside ziplock bags? So far, bb drank the thawed ones when i was in bkk, no LS.

Not sure what do you mean by fussing? <font color="ff0000">When Isaiah is awake, he always stretch till face very red,have grunting noise also n kicks hands n legs, PD says this is normal n all babies after 1 mth old do that...so not colic?</font>

yes the liners can be frozen...
and they hv been pretty durable... after using 2 boxes, oni 1 has leaked. i usu dun store my ebm in large quantities, so they hv lesser chance of leaking oso. i usu store in quantity of 50ml, oni sometimes 100ml.

Hi Christina, yes, I'm still BF. I'm also curious why my menses come so fast. Not alot but still have. My lochia ended completely earlier this week. Yesterday start having more fresh red discharge so shld be menses. I will still continue to bf. Just want to see if any of u also like tat.
On MIM showroom, it's at 40 Jalan Pemimpin, #04-10c. Opening hrs: 11am - 4pm. (Open on Tues, Wed and Thurs). I haven't cfm when I will be gg. Depends on hubby's work schedule. When u intend to go?

for some who are not on tbf or fully latching, it is common that menses will come early. i rembr when i had my #1, my menses came when bb was 3MO, i was partial bfg then cos bb was taking supplement fm.
one thing for sure i know... everytime 1-2 weeks b4 menses come, ss will drop... very sad one...

i use clips to clip the milk bags. after they are frozen, i take out the clips and use those metal wire to tie them. the kind of wire u can use to twist and tighten loose cables and wires. can be bgt at any handy shop.
here's another pic to show the clip... see the yellow color one? ikea has such clips.
i been using tupperware and lock lock to store my ebm. but running out of them! so now i use big ziploc bags to store the packets of ebm after they hv been freezed.

2day my avg EBM went frm 130ml to 160ml. Morning frm 160ml to 230ml. Maybe fenugreek + more water is finally working? Its my 7th day taking, still on 3pills.

The old folks very funny one, my BB already crying desperately for milk, somemore my MIL still ask her daughter to go get water and want to feed my BB water first. I got so angry and rush out of my room (half way pumping) and ask them to just feed my BB EBM since she was so hungry already. Then, my useless hubby show me black face for the whole night. Because whatever his old folks say is sure right one.

Hey Soyabean, No wonder. Me on partial BF... gotta supplement with FM. alamak, supply already not enuf liao still will drop before menses? *faint* but I latch bb on. so can't see when ss will drop. SIANZ man... find pad changing so ma-fan after no menses for so long. hee....

Now my ger drink about 80ml, so everytime we just let her had 100ml, coz most of my EBM was keep at 100-120ml.Everytime will throw about 20ml, seems wasted but no choice oso.

Then i was 'clean clean' for for few days before i see 'red' again. Then it stopped for days, but yest suddenly it came again in large amt. I had to sit in toilet bowl for sometimes to let it flow. But today it seems like stop liao. I oso not sure wat went wrong.

I think that is not menses, but the lochia that was not fully flush out. 1 week is too short to clean all dirty blood in the womb.
Now about 3 weeks liao, my still not 100% clean ler, still have some light brown or yellowish discharge. I think my CL at least got some good thing, she is good with tonic soup and chinese herbs, so every night she will prepare one type tonic soup for supper for me to clear blood clots, dirty blood, wind and etc

I am so sad, my BB dunno how to latch on, she keeps biting my nipple and use her tongue to push until only nipple was left in her mouth. Because of this, I have sore nipple for almost 10 days.
So now use Ameda to pump exclusively, but also very painful. I can get average about 240ml each pump. My BB is drinking about 110ml every 3hrs. She is just 3 weeks old and she is 5kg already.
Use to woke up twice at night to pump, but very tiring, feel like dying, so now only wake up once. Just have to endure the pain of engorged breast. In the morning, can get up to 280ml to 290ml.
Funny thing is, I do not drink enough water, not enough sleep also, but still can maintain supply. Maybe my CL's cook really help my supply a lot and also her tonic soup. She cook "Pork Leg Vinegar" very nice and she told me that drinking the soup of it will create a lot of BM, maybe it is true.
