Hi ladies, when you buy baby clothes now, wat size do you buy? For newborn, 3-6 mths or bigger? Wats the difference bet rompers and bodysuits?

Most of the baby clothes I bought are for 3-6 months or 12 mths.. only bought a few pcs for newborn.

Not buying anymore clothes as more hand-me-down clothes are coming in..

visited old navy and saw so many nice clothes that my boy can wear but cannot buy now...

Thanks Xiang! I'm not sure wat size i shld buy cos also dunno wat people are giving me. Was surfing the babymallonline webby and saw quite a few cute items, but dunno if shld buy or not. Hv not checked out the prices of such things outside, so dunno if buy online will be cheaper after adding in all the shipping and postage.

Is there any difference bet rompers and bodysuits?

my understanding is rompers are 1 pc suit which covers the whole body till leg area, whereas bodysuit only covers till the buttock area. if u know wat i mean

I am also interested in getting a steriliser either from NUK or Pigeon / Tollyjoy (can fit all bottles and pigeon has this that is 3 in 1, meaning sterilier cum bottle cum food warmer). What's the price like in Spore? I am planning to get glass bottles from NUK for my ger.

Similarly i also like bb safe items like cot mattress etc but thinking of getting the cot bed later after ger is borned. I want to see whther she can sleep on her own or with me.

Get a LV, their value always appreciate over time. Can see within a year and they always increase price nearing CNY.

I have bought Gucci and furla before and all got discount/sale item even though my item is not on sale so i thgt LV retains its value more.

Jgal: i suggest to get a LV bag for more market value. even u sell off next time more resale value. LV increases its price twice a yr due to euro $ hike... i just get a LV speedy... SA from raffles hotel boutique told me, if u spend $1000 & above, u will get a dining voucher for if i remem correctly $120.

hee Jgal..recently i bought myself a Coach wallet during the 4days special additional 10% for Taka card holder. So the wallet is less 30% (store disc) + add 10% = 40% disc.
So vain hor....still eyeing for the neverfull bag...keke...yes HK selling the neverfull bag by S$150 to 200 bucks cheaper!

Mummies who are interested in cord blood banking,
I signed up Stemcord during babyfair in Mar tis year (I am nt preggy at tat time) paying deposit of $650 (b4 GST), usual price $1150 (b4 GST). Just completed my enrolment last Thur. according to the stemcord representative, stemcord will b having a roadshow at babyfair in mar 08, promo will be increasing to $850 (b4 GST) instead of wat I hv paid... 'heng heng' for me to sign up tis yr!!

we can claim additional $450 fm medisave for pre-delivery expenses provided u submit original receipts on day of admission.
 
Dear all, sorry to intrude but good things must share right? I'm from the March 08 MTB and we are coordinating together to get OSIM slim belts which are highly recommended for toning.

I've contacted the OSIM supplier. The only slim belt they left with is OS-164 (whole of spore left with 30 pcs)http://www.osim.com/SG/product/slim_belt_extra_back_support.aspx?category_id=A590155E-CC4E-49DB-B365-62715B5C7673. It has extra back support which is good for us esp when we carry the baby for the past 10 mth. It is machine washable as well. The retail price is $98. They r goign to gv us at least 30% discount which is about $68.60. I am trying to neg more discount if i manage to get 10-15 sets...

For babysafe pdts, check out mothers work at tanglin mall. They are having 20% discount now. I went to Robinsons last week but these are not on sale, but it was on 20% the previous weekend.

Kiddy P prices are actually not very attractive even with their 10% discount. I would rather wait for Robinsons 20% sales.

Btw, how is their mattress protector? I didn't get to see those.

I managed to see the mattress protector at Robinson Raffles only. I do find that eversince Robinson undergo an image change, the overall merchandise including baby stuffs has gone up-market and higher priced. Thus, for those items that are on controlled price, storewide discount is not applicable.

The top part of the Babysafe mattress protector is cloth-like and the bottom part is glue-like (which makes it waterproof).
