Sorry to reply so late, as I don't have internet access in office. Spring has many branches in SG but the 1-day sale is only at AMK & Plaza Sing today as I've posted earlier. I'll try to inform you girls if there are other promos next time.

Btw, went to Robinsons and got the kippo swaddler for $23.20 only!!! Cheaper than bp prices... I wanted to get Babysafe mattress too but it wasn't part of the 20% sale. Must wait for next sale...

Calamari - i managed to get rid of the brown stains on the steriliser. Read the instructions, these stains are actually calcium deposits, used vinegar to boil once, then use stain remover to remove it. Now it looks clean...should be safe to use. hehe.

Saw a NUK and a Pigeon at Robinson's Sale. NUK cost alot more than Pigeon.

Is a bottle/food warmer necessary?

i have warmer sitting at home doing nothing... haha.... do i don think it is neceessary... but i just find a way to use it when my no 2 arrive.... haha...

was reading the magzine... and suggest 1 method... just save with all..

After sterlised the bottle... fill in with drinking water to the required amount... put into the fridge... 10-20 min before th feeding time... remove the bottle and put on the warmer... once the baby is hungry... add the milk powder and feed the baby... the temperature will be just nice.....

i'm not doing it now ... as my no1 prefer colder milk... too hot he will not drink....</font>
 
I bought a BabySafe waterproof mattress protector (2 pcs in a pack) from Robinson.

Most probably, I will be buying the Babysafe latex mattress (28" x 48") for a hand-me-down cot. It cost $175 at Kiddy Palace and Robinson.

Has anyone bought it at a cheaper price? I am looking at anything cheaper than $157.50 as I am able to get a Kiddy Palace card (with 10% discount).

i hv a warmer at home & still hv not used it though my ger is already 15mths. personally i dont find it very useful as i usually warm up the milk using hot water, its much faster then the warmer.

we bot a stroller n a 'rubber' mat those usually u lay below e mattress...

fil even mention if my bb is a boy he will buy a toy motorbike/jeep... girl is car.. pengz!

Me was down with flu over the weekend, sianz...actually wanted to go and do some baby shopping. Lucky on leave from now on for 2 weeks.... so can relax at home.

believe it or not, u dun even hv to walk to my unit to collect your stuffs... coz u guessed it rite!! we r neighbour!!! I m unit 18.
 
Doris - $200 for a stroller is cheap.

I just settled my bb cot, got it set up yday with the mattress and bedsheet, hehee. Very pink color. I took photos also. However my cot can last me maybe up till 5-6mths, after tat must upgrade liao.

my mil lay our bb clothes properly in a cabinet le... ask me slowly wash...

recently i start to feel more of bb kicks/punches... surprisingly, bb likes to 'bully' me when hb is interacting with us.. response very well to hb's voice..

Me also feeling more of bb movements. Was awake last nite at abt 4am+ and the bb was kicking me quite hard. Put my hubby's hand on my stomach and he was also veru surprised at how hard the bb was kicking!!

It's cloth-like. I bought it cos I like the texture as it does not feel plastic. It costs $33.XX before 5% discount.
