hi all, more news from Lee Hong,
Her baby is a girl. Babypink, can update the table liao (haha, she's the only one who i know can tahan the suspense until pop!!!)

also, Lee Hong got this tip from a friend (who heard from a nurse) on how to prevent baby from high index of jaundice. feed newborn 1 teaspoon or 30gm sugar with 1oz or 30ml of water within the first 24 hrs. But mustn't let the nurse know (not sure why)

not sure if 10 mins on each side is enuff....read that you are supposed to empty one breast first becos the rich hind milk comes after the watery fore milk which will satisfy thirst but not hunger so you might want to try BF on one breast until breast is soft and bb seems to be working harder to get anything out

oh yah, sorry so thoughtless of me....of cos working mums must think of storing milk right from the start! read that best to start an hour after bb has fed so that milk supply is full again and morning is generally the most productive and evening the least...keep up your good work!

usu if no milk when pumping fr breast pump i will stop so as not to over pump the breast that will cause abrasion and will use hands to express till empty....

Thank's all the mummies who support me, vr lucky to found this forum which really can depend on....i know my mil wants me good but nv realised she is stressing me everyday when i bf...she come into my room lor, i locked then my hubby unlocked it...many times lio then she will come to my room n staring at bb n my breast n make sure bb is dringking well. stress..........n nag n nag. ask me to put away computer, mobile...
my bb first bath kena shock by her, he cried non stop...she just put my bb in the water when he was still sleeping...sigh..heart pain lor when i c like this....nv mind, i'll bear for another week.
