talking abt wat we eat during pregnancy, dat day my #2 bite #1, my mil asked me did i eat crab, thats y he likes to bite korkor. i was like wtf, got such thing meh?
pardon my crudeness, but my mil had been saying nasty things about my sons almost every time we visit her, my tolerance level is always pushed to the max.

Steph, don’t think rice is acidic. Could be due to the saliva . I know fruits like kiwi, orange or strawberry which are acidic will cause rashes besides the mouth if bb is not ready yet.

Cool down...I know that kind of feeling. My boy will always cry when we bring him for hair cut...guess what my fil has to say about that? He told me:" Why he cry? My (fil) grandfather, father, brother and your hubby also never cry during haircuts when they were young!" I was like hello, what has that got to do with my boy?! I told him off straight away that all kids are different. You cannot expect every child to behave in exactly the same way! Then he shut up.
That day even funnier. My fil was playing counting with my boy. He said 'One' (expecting my boy to repeat) but my boy said 'Two' cos he likes us to continue with 'Three" and then he will say 'Four' and so on...My fil didn't get it so he said my boy is very naughty, purposely say something else and don't want to repeat after him...sigh! Me and my hubby look at each other and shake head...he called my boy naughty for being "more advanced" than he had expected...hahaha!

Mine was arthritis, cos I injured my knees in secondary school days. Mine will get swollen during rainy days and I can't walk properly...worse thing is both my knees got this problem!
Oh, I see a very nice china lady for acupuncture. I used to go only when my knees were swollen but she convinced me that continous sessions were better so I hardworking lor, go every week or alternate weeks for a few months and it really did the job. Problem is she used to run a small TCM clinic in Hougang but now without a place cos rental became ridiculous 1-2 years back. I gotta contact her to see if she has found a place yet. I don't have other recommendations but I do know EYS, etc are very ex. This lady doc used to charge me about $25 for acupunture & ba kua(30-45mins) only or $30-$35 if I take medicine as well...very reasonable prices.

what i meant was that my knee is painful lah all the time, but hor, after half a day gone of walking/running/flexing, my joint is screaming in pain so by this time, i need to hobble aka cant walk properly. means my joint cannot tahan a full day of coolie work.
literally means weak knee lor. i dunno arthritis or not. nowadays so bad until at night sleeping, my kneecap will throb and the pain will wake me up leh

dunno leh, coz you may have a combo of "illness" at the knee cap eg inflammation + low elasticity
if you believe TCM then they can acupuncture or tui
if you believe in western kind then they can scope and maybe do minor surgery.

personally i believed in TCM but treatment may take longer time to see effect de. Maybe u not enuff calcium intake since u bf for quite sometime le? little little "illness" can accumulate into big issue later...gd to seek treatment early & before u plan #2

my calcium intake, i took when i was preggy, after preggy (coz for bfding) and after bfding till now...
i dun have calcium deficiency, confirmed by GP; suspected by myself. my bones are OK its my joints that are not ok. cartilage prob aka cartilage loss. so must eat lots of beef tendon, sea cucumber, pig skin etc...or take lots of collagen
