Wah, so busy whole morning till now..

Pixie, the tcm I went pretty good one. do you wanna try him ? don’t think he will want you to eat meat. Cuz I told him I’m vegetarian he said “good, good”.. he will make sure he gives me non-animal medicine, pretty understanding :p

Luca, my mum had beaten Shaun many times on the leg till the bumps appeared. I was very heart pain leh, and quickly applied calendula cream . My mum beat real hard bcos if it’s light shaun din feel anything one ( he got very thick skin). So now I can use the cane to frighten him when he keeps playing with the water hose. I really pei fu my mum who got the courage to cane eventhough she dotes on the grandson a lot. For me sure I wouldn’t lor.

I tot the year end bonus is for the work u hv done for year 2009? Why come back still must serve one whole year to get the full sum?

true, it must have taken your mum a lot of courage to cane Shaun. My mum can never do that, she won't even scold her kids/grandchildren, she is very soft type.

Talking about cane, we don't have one and will never have one at our household. It's not the approach that we are going to use. Though HR has been really tough to handle these couple of weeks, we keep reminding each other to keep our cold or we walk away from him till we calm down. We have to help him to understand/explore the world around him. At this age, they like to explore and yet they still couldn't differiate what's right and what's not, and they are learning things very fast esp by mimicking adult actions.

cos i took 1 yr no pay & the policy is to serve back the period equivalent after return. Likewise if i tender in dec, i will need to serve a mth notice in jan in order to get my year end bonus.

Hmm, guess i got no choice..will juz proceed as plan..Not very nice to disturb the current arrangement made...haha, i have mass email informing the whole world liao + took farewell lunch & photo oredi... they will make me puke out the farewell lunch if i change my mind...hahaha

Ya lor, just go ahead lah. At least they are only delaying the payment not taking it away all together. Just think of it that it's been banked in as FD, so you can't touch the $$ lor.

He seemed to be much better now. After scolding him for not drinking milk, he cried his head off and sweat a lot until his whole head is wet.. then his temp seemed to drop a lot more too.

I more worried abt night time when the fever get high easily. Hope he get well soon. :D

i kinda agree with u on cane discipline BUT Z can be a tough nut to handle at times. I've ask my fil to buy a cane for my hsehold for standby cos my mil started using the cane on Z, just beat him lightly enuff to let him know pain pain & scare him. Z loves to spit water from his mouth onto the floor or table making it soaking wet & also got this bad habit of throwing things at didi's face/head or onto the floor if he's happy/angry..siao siao one. Otherwise he loves to lift up/shake my fil's tall glass vase which is place on the living room table, very dangerous. Explaining to him properly not to & why, he just simply wont listen & keep repeating all these annoying action so no choice, mil have to use the cane & now he don't dare liow although once or twice he forgot & will do it again.

Steph, yesterday night I tried but I think got problem accepting. I will try again tonight if not this week. I only saw the small thumbnail of your wedding photos I think.

Kam, yea, I never want to use the cane too. But it seems like he is afraid of it now when we tell tat we are taking the cane out when he keeps playing with the water. You know what he does now, he will pull down his diaper and pee in the bathroom, then he gets the chance to play with the water hose, cuz after his pee we always clean it with the water. His intention is to play with water and spray here and there, till my kitchen is wet sometimes. My mum cant control her cool also , so resorted to cane :p

not only ivf threads, also got mummies trying using clomid, iui etc. I am one who tried clomid for my #1...ttc journey not easy...stress, disappointment & $$$ gone.
i was even thinking if clomid failed, shld i try ivf or just give up ttc cos i just can't bear to think i gotta jab myself several times on my tummy for the ivf treatment & still unsuccessful. But alas i am thankful for god's kindness on me

read that there's barney stage show at united square from 2nd Dec onwards. Think i will bring shaun there cuz Barney is his favourite now.

lucky me only took 1 cycle of clomid & got pregnant. I got history cos i got cyst & endometriosis when ttc. i can O but gynae said i got irregular ovulation so diff to track when is my most fertile days so need clomid to make sure got egg present & i also took jab to help release the egg on day 12th & have to ML 2 to 3days in that week to up my chances loh.
 
yah janbb i will always remember the time he called you "bar".....coz u wore purple.

coz my boy dun drink milk, i will give him pediasure in a barney bowl. then i will keep asking him "where's barney?" so he will quickly finish the milk so that can see the bottom of the bowl (where barney lies beneath) :)

Jess, I don’t wanna read that blog.. cuz I’m always affected by negative things one. My mum said I’m very pessimistic and “ji3 ren2 you1 tian1” all the time. Oh well, maybe that’s the reason why I was married to a man who is super positive.

Tongtong my gal dun wake up to check on me only she want to sleep with me hahah and is really close to me haha .... but she very cute ... sometime she woke up before us during weekend if she still we still sleeping she will cont her sleep.

If i wake up before her sometime she will open her eyes and look at me .....

whats the timing for taking the burofen and paracetamol? my nephew also got fever, temperature never seem to go down after taking just paracetamol alone.

yah..I rem last yr she also fell sick around this time. When the weather changes, she will fall sick and very very very prone to fever!

usually for high fever, pd adviise to alternate between bufen and para...so between bufen and para is 3 hrs but between bufen and bufen is 6 hrs...

eg.
9am bufen
12pm para
3pm bufen
6pm para
......

3 hrly alternate between burofen and paracetamol but temperature must be above 38.5 degree. Burofen seemed to work better for my boy, but like what pixie say will sweat and legs and hands turn cold.

Rylee sleeps like an acrobat too. And i get bruises easily so u can imagine the "50cents" on me.

Oh, i tot ur mattress is parallel to the bed, , but how about fitting a toddler's bed instead of a full-fledged single bed? Got space?

I was thinking of mom2nat's tips earlier, it's nice but prob wont work on Rylee cos if i go toilet, she wont guaiguai sit there one, sure climb down and look for me...how ah? the older they get, the more mobile they are.

Wah, good job on weaning her at nights. NOt easy if you co-sleep. I oso like to hug my boy, but my girl got "wu ying jiao".... kick you can see stars, and can turn until fall off bed kind. So leh, we dun like to sleep with her.

Nat oso walked all ard the room!!! Make me pek chek. But slowly lor. Tell her you wanna poo, smelly, ask her wait. Then a few days later, you take your bath lah, see if she sleeps.

Same lah, my girl oso climbs into our bed! As they get more mobile, they walk everywhere. My #1 wakes up crying often last time oso. We couldnt' figure out why. Tats why for #2, hb so scared gotta share bed! Elliot needs pple to pat then can sleep hor... my maid does it. Hee...

Errr... btw, I had a tough time training my girl to sleep on her own.. meaning I say night night and leave the room, she learn to sleep. She was doing fine... Then ah, 1 week I was out, din put her to bed... my hb spoilt everything!!!!!!!!! He stayed in the room with her until she fell asleep.... end up I am like the bad fella retraining her again after tat!

I guess we all love to hug and smell our kids when sleeping, and look at their angelic faces! Hoho... But I realised being SAHM is quite siong, by night time, our energy drained liao. We need a good night's sleep lor. So unless our kids can sleep well on our beds, otherwise we end up frustrated and tired in the am. Happy mommy happy baby. I oso wan to sleep with them, but I oso know by am, I will be grumpy mommy liao.
 
RaeAnne's diarrhoea is bad and now she's developed diaper rash at the anus area. Got to keep changing her diapers, apply steroid lotion and desitin. Sigh, put her to bed just now. For once, she wanted to drink milk. So happy but end up she cough and vomit all over the cot bed. Luckily we had a water mattress on the cot (to reduce her temperature) so bedsheet was just a bit stained, no need to change yet. But need to wash her and change her clothes all over again.
