Mcfluffy, RaeAnne also doesn't talk to the receiver but want to snatch it at ILs place. But at home, I always put my dect phone on speakerphone so that she can hear my mum who's usually the one calling, sounds as if ah ma is just beside us, then she will call ah ma ah ma when I ask her to. Maybe you can try that.

Last time I oso against maids handling kids, said even if I have a maid, I will do things like bathing and feeding... blah blah. But ah, when I have #2, my #1 more attn seeking... hard for me to juggle. Then got once I had a stomach flu, can't get out of bed, stomach so crampy, lie in bed to rest, I really thankful I got a maid to look after my son! HOw to supervise and watch all the time?

Yes, I am still uptight over Elias food .... Aiyah.. Actually I already let go a bit by giving cheese and butter in replacement of salt and even ikan billis for stock.. Last time nothing at all... Ya.. I agree, that the kid will take them one day.. But ELias is pretty scarry, got once. my mum added some soy sauce to his food.. he ate all.. and the moment he take non sauce food at home.. he realy refuses to eat.. and keep shaking head.. till i really bobian then add more ikan billis like 8 pcs .. used to be miserable 4 pc.. then he eats lor.
Reason cos.. My son pedectric says better give salt stuff after 2.. Including orange juice. which I have yet to give. He say after 2. still must watch his sodium intake which means buy certain salt , and soy sauce that has lower sodium lor. Of cos weekend. we also do.. give certain food.. only mashed potatoes witout sauce which he loves so much and also his favourite those 1 dollar waffles. i get a bit of those only.. other then that .. i really do not know what is a kid friendly food.. hahaa... def no no fried food or chocolates for him at this age lor.. I feel even wna give also must limit.. But i realised kids are so smart.. take once. they just want more.. Like with cornflacks. he wants nothing else kind of thing.. Hard to bluff him

Oh yah.. He finally called me Mummy loud and clear last night. Usually its just Mimi! Daddy is sad as he just refuses to call him at all..lol
He cant form sentences yet.. But he can see stuff and say thing like CAR, TREES, BEAR, BED, MILK AND CHAIR. BY LOOKING AT IT.. just hope he can form simple sentences soon. It be sweet. He can say love though and hug us.. Thats the sweetest moment esp he does it after we scold him...

there's a lot of ways to cook tasty food without using salt. U should try and explore those lor. Even we all adult eat the same thing every day also xian right.
e.g u can make yr own healthy version of spaghetti with tomato sauce using homemade tomato puree. u can bake stuff in the oven instead of always steaming

Gerber juice is meant for kids, it's more watered down so it's not so sweet. The marigold juice even though is no added sugar is more concentrated so it's sweeter.

yup, my gal is in julia gabriel biligual class. But seriously i find the outdoor play timing too short. Maybe becos they always have too much activities for the whole 2 hrs.

of course Z take bus rides/mrt but most of the time with my PIL. With me, yesterday evening was the 2nd time niah cos every morning, we drive mah so will need to drop him/didi at PIL place before gg to work. After work...no vehicle cos hb work late & i gotta take bus home loh. I seldom take cab unless rain heavily & with kid/s or rushing for time.

She hor, I gave her those prepacked baby food, cos live abroad pple do tat. Wat ca pa lang she oso eat. So much easier to feed! With my son then I realise, I wan to give he oso dun wan to eat! When you travel, you will realise headache if child is picky.
My PD told my maid sternly, tat if the food is bland, not nice, Elliot dun like, she eat herself! Your PD from where ah? My PD say my son lose weight until 5%tile I need to beef him up! There are many "best to do" things ard, best to give organic, best to eat steam, best to take water only.... but you can best for these few yrs... you know sometimes the kids end up indulge when they get older... so end up tat 2 or 3 yrs of best oso gone liao!

My pedetric from Mount E. Used to see Dr Ong Eng Keow and Baby and child clinic but changed to Mount E branch as the Dr Phuah there works well on ELias so far.
He just mentioned that no matter how, salt should give less, If best after 2 only but use cheese and yourgart would be good as its diary so can beef him up. But again, must try to give him more food. with a variety of choices .. cos like what I feel, If everyday eat same, I will also get sian what more Elias, Just that I am very careful of the ingrediants and contents of food when my maid prepares them
Like I plan to add some sauce to his food, But I will look into certain oragnic sauce and low sodiium salt then ok lah.. After all he is turning 2 soon. We seldom go out, So when he gets bigger, I plan to bring certain snaks out in lunch boxes la.. But wil be open to more adult food when outside then.. COs once/twice a week is fine la.. I guess I will just rinse with warm water and selects the no so oily and fried stuff for Elias lor.
Ya men.. Going overseas with Elias going to be tought. Wish me luck men. Dec planning for a KL trip wit him for 4 days.

He dont take packet cereal one. He wants the same things he has at home? how ah? Tot of making whole bottle of Frisco cream for lunch For breakfast willl give common bread, cornflack and own bread can bor? Then dinner. Maybe jar food and some adult food or how?
I also sian? DOnt know how many tins of ceral and jar food to bring men? Hiaz! Really headache.

this red shoe bot from thailand. my last bkk shopping trip before i was preggy. which means 3yo shoe liao...its only 200baht and i got the same pair in green. spoilt liao i go to cobbler and patch, never intend to throw away coz the print is too beautiful liao.

i love shopping in thailand...that was 10yrs ago when i last went with my ex-colleagues. Their shoes & under garments very cheap, nice & comfy. Wacoal brand is cheap over there...wonder if it's still so now?? I love their bbq cuttlefish at the roadside stall & i've tried their fried grasshopper! crispy & yummy?abit yucky but taste ok la...haha
