i think not that we want to feed them that much. it is them always crying/asking for more milk! my son can finished 100ml in 5mins, then when got "zhuk zhuk" sound (bottle empty), he just cry!? so i top up for him..

ya, mine same same theory as etelle, my boy now can drink up to 140ml (that the max for now). Like alien, sometime when i give my boy 120ml (that his usual intake), once got zhuk zhuk sound and i know it's nt enuff for him so usually i will top up a bit for him. And my bb is not super sumo size wor, hehee!

alien, envy u leh. finish 100ml in 5mins.

my bb took 10-15mins or more for 100ml. sometimes gv him 120ml and he cant finish. otherwise, not enough... faint.

Maybe try some activites to let ur bb know what he should do now ..

For example after feed change diaper, play, go for a walk .. Come back wipe face hands and by the time they will be tired and take a nap .. Always have activites when they are awake so they will nap properly ..

it is not adviseable to leave the mat under heavy stuff as the depressed area may be damaged and not return to its original state leh. in your case, the bouncer is not that heavy so it should be go away, but might takes time. maybe a week or so

For milk intake i'm also not sure .. Maybe in the beginning give and give and their tummy expand liao .. Thats what i read from a breastfeeding pro articles .. Till now i'm still latching and never bother much about how much he is drinking as long as he got good diaper count and gaining weight .. One thing good about it is i no need to worry he won't drink milk .. Hate giving him bottle .. Also keep knocking the bottle to make him drink ..

I never tried it before leh (the bathing) But I heard from my cousin she just use it to bathe! But she did rinse off! Why don't you drink it? Don't waste mah. Or give it to your baby and replace with newer milk. After all frozen EBM kept too long have a fishy smell, must use it up fast!

*sigh* just now heard my boy cry.. rushed into room.. too late!! He managed to wriggle his hands out from the swaddling cloth and guess what? 2 BIG scatches with blood on his left face!!!

*faint* .. I envy some of you here, don't have to swaddle your bbs.. do you still let your bbs wear mittens?

Wonder if today is his growth spurt, schedule all changed and keeps wanting to sleep then wake up 1hr plus later, screaming for milk..

I trimmed and filed my boy's nails.. but he just has the tendency to scatch his face... let him wear mittens, he also rubs his face till rashes came out..
