yep, still driving. so long as i dun drive myself to hospital can liao
my maid starting to wash all the nb clothes already, so cute. had forgotten how small they were. only problem is the condo next door now being demolished so outside quite dusty. hope it wont fly here and dirty the clothes.
wah, feel so sleepy now. will postpone the ouch session til tomor, hehe...tonite go see gynae then ask if ok to go ahead. bb will be 37wks, hope she's a good wt now. at 35wks, she was abt 2.2kg only.

I went for the stemcord seminar 3 mths back. According to the speaker, stemcord stores the cord blood in multiple compartments and places them in 2 different locations. Whereas cordlife stores all in one compartment, which means you can only use it once. Cos once thawed, can't refreeze back.
But i also heard arguments that at this present stage, if stem cell transfer is required, you will need to use up all the cordblood. So what's the point of storing in several compartments? To this, Stemcord says that in future, there is a possibility that only a portion of stem cell is needed, so their storage mtd is actually catering to this possibility.
Anyway, it's up to individual to believe and interpret.

Constance, thanks yah. Just called up stemcord, it is indeed cheaper at $1150 for enrolment.. and also I found out the method of storing... will discuss with hubby again..

SLOW.. my superiors said that I've matured alot this year, as in, not so agressive and task orientated (we are asked to balance task and people well).. haha, I told them not that I've matured, but fact is my brain takes longer to process information and by the time I want to react, the perfect timing is lost! hahaha

I am also tested positive for Group B Strep. What my gynae said before she did the test was that if positive, then I'll need antibiotics during labour. From what I read from websites, it is supposed to be in drip form (iv). I will check with my gynae again when I see her next week.

the reason for me to sign up with 2 differnt is in case one company close down then i sitll have with the other haha
But the only difference between them is the way they store lor...for me is nto a big concern la on how they store la..
and for enrollment fee. I jus signed u a few days ago with stemcord at 1150 but the girl gave ma further 150 off so 1k but for cordlife is 1.4k le..they said now no promo think mar will have promo then will have better offer but we cannot wait ah...
then i am also using the CDA acct that #2 be entitled to pay for the enrollment and the annual storage le..so for #2 mummies u can consider using the CDA for such purpose...governtment pay half we pay half lor...

Hi MTB,
I had a terrible night last night, my cramps never stop till this morning. Can't fall asleep so decided to take MC today to rest.
After sleeping I feel much better. Anyone knows why cramps only come at night where it disturb my sleep? Later when I feel better, will go for the ouch session at strips.

Just FYI. I have 2 account, 1 w stemcord, 1 w cordlife... i think its a matter of preference on their storage method n how comfortable you feel with them... but 1 thing i can say is "after sale svc" stemcord is definitely better then cordlife!
i m abit frustrated with cordlife... i sent email to both asking for their fees if i decided to store my #3 cordblood, only stemcord bothered to reply and a representative called me. cordlife took so long, n guess wat, its via email, attached a whole bunch of junkie files (abt 17 of them)... n expect me to go thru 1 by 1 just to look for the price??
then i appply to both for deduction via CDA account, again i only hear from stemcord, NOTHING from cordlife till now and the only thing i rec from cordlife is an invoice to ask me pay for my storage fee... so wat happened to my application to pay via CDA?

Actually one reason why i chose stemcord was also due to my gynae's comment. He was sharing with me that only stemcord bother to send him updates on the latest stem cell developments. He received nothing from cordlife and dunno what is going on there. I think maybe also cos cordlife has too many customers already.

BB, let see, usually occur after 9pm then oso in the middle of the nite. but sun was quite bad, start from 130am to 5plus, i hv panda eyes.

I tot mayb stemcord is run like a "family biz"... so more personal. whereas cordlife is very commercialise so less personal... just a tot. anyway i always hv better feeling abt stemcord, tt's y i chose stemcord first, then cordlife... spread my eggs
today saw my gynae, she said its anytime now i can go into labour.. ask me to monitor closely, reg contraction of 15mins apart w/i an hr, must admit hosp liao... i wish its NOW!
