it could be indigestion... i understand from my son's PD that FrisoComfort makes the milk a little thicker, so that after bb drinks it, it will be less likely to come out again, coz it is jelly like... but it is still easily digestible even in gel like form. we need to use teats with bigger holes when giving thicker milk like FrisoComfort, else like my son, suck until the cows come home and drank 30ml nia... i latched him on and gave him 100ml EBM to top up, heng no vomitting after that feed

his PD also prescribed some anti vomit and tummyache medication for him to take an hour before giving him FM (the usual kind). but i will give Frisocomfort a couple more tries instead of taking the medication.

my hb called several of the FM distributors, they don't give FM samples for 0-6mths, coz they are supposed to encourage bf-ing instead of FM for first 6 mths. my doctor frens also told me the same thing... only sample available would be those in small bottle liquid form, same as those given by hospitals, and only available upon special request. maybe you can call and try your luck, if you manage to get the sample, do let me know.. keke

By the way, check with you regarding storing EBM in freezer... I place EBM in chiller first coz I need to accumulate 150ml before freezing them. Is there a maximum time I should let milk stand in chiller before freezing?

Next question, can I freeze EMB (if can meet 150ml) straight after pumping?

can freeze straight off. recommended for chiller i think is 48hrs, but i've left for 4 days before with no side effects from my bb.
not sure abt this but is it true that chilling preserves the antibodies but freezing kills them? Anyone can verify?

what kind of class is the 1st trial for? Cos when i see their website, there's quite a number of different type of classes available, right?
 
phy, it's recommended to freeze directly and not accumulate in the chiller. not sure the side effects... what i do is, i buy the smaller milk bags and mix and match the amounts when needed.

i oni leave mine in the chiller for max 48 hours. usually dun let my ger consume if it's longer than that.

anyone knows if we can combine THAWED frozen breastmilk together?

hi ladies, anyone tried any tingkat b4? i just ended neo garden's contract cos it's getting quite bad. think cos of the increase in prices, portion is little and not filling, plus the food is quite tasteless and bland. any suggestions?

try not to freeze EBM which has been stored in the fridge for more than 48hrs.
Ok to accumulate and freeze but when u write the date on the bag, it should be the earliest date. eg if u store 4th & 5th together, u shld label it as 4th.

jeelo, thanks! it's slightly steeper than neo garden but i don't mind paying as long as the food is decent. it's sad to go home to a "bad" meal... sigh... will call them now.

I called up parentcraft.. One of the ladies who answered the call said it is ok to combine EMB of different temperature.. Hmm, but I think I will play safe by putting them in chiller to be of same temperature before combining and freezing.
