ASHM,
i am a teh person, so i had my half cup of teh almost every other day. If u ask me, i think its fine, so long its in moderation.
Cindy,
u lucky lor, but i think all depends on whose genes they got their skin/complexion fr.
MissA,
I know what u mean, cos ZY's temperament is that she wont give up unless u let her try, even if it means hurting herself. So long if its not playing with sockets or dangerous things, i will just let her be. (even though i get looks fr other adults at times when she go amok like screaming in NTUC!)
I am reading some books on Postive Parenting so hopefully helps me to better communicate with our impatient toddlers! So far, distraction method works on ZY, but I am also trying out other methods, such as really listening to what their "complains" are, reiterate back to them (so they know we are really listening and understanding them) then follow by subsequent actions. Still trying out cos it means i need to curb my own temper too!
Yoko,
my little bossy gal also more n more assertive, even tho her teacher puts it nicely as "having a mind of her own", haha. At least she knows I am the boss so if mommy says No, its No! I think she will also kena quite a lot of complaints next time in CC cos she is active plus assertive!
