hi-5 lah... my gal also like to 'press' my breasts leh. oredi flat still wana press... ahahaha...
but i m trying to kick this bad habit of hers, coz it will be ME who will be super paiseh leh, esp in public place!!
 


tinkabel:: jia you! don't worry about the weight. I guess it's normal that girls are lighter. trishelle was only born 2.7 at birth. now already 5.5 months liao still 6kg nia! omg. hahah!!

pig:: yes yes she delivered liao loh! don't know if she got issues with maid or not ley. hoho but she is gg to be my neighbour!!

dreamer:: Travis does that to me too. but i will hit him and just put him down on the floor. He got the idea after some time. at home when he does naughty things, I just show him the CANE and immediately fantastically, miraculously, he will BEHAVE. I LOVE the cane.

we do not have one at home now but when we tell chloe that if she's notty, we will CANE her and ask if she wants to be caned? she will quickly shake her head and say "bu yao, bu yao" and stop her nonsense liao.

cane works on kiros too.. i will show him the cane whenever refuse to leave the bathroom wanting to play with water.

When we asked him if we can cane Kicia, he will shake his head and say No. then he will point to the person he wanted us to cane.. like his cousin. poor cousin.
 
hahaha..so funny you mummies talking abt the power of cane! i have not introduce it yet cos' hubby is against it. Will the cane lose its "power" if we use it too frequently? i know my dad used to cane us when we were younger and we simply hated it, even to the extend of using plasters to camo the cane marks when goes to school...hahaha.

poissons:: i didn't want to intro it too but seriously no choice. He's damn naughty until buay tahan. Climb on the sofa, step up and play with the switches on the wall, turn on n off the lights, take chair to climb onto the table, WHAT i cannot tolerate is OPENING the tap and filling up containers with WATER!!! i don't think it'll lose power cause no matter what, CANE is painful... haha.

yes I delivered already and bb is now 4 months. Back to work as well. So double busy at work and home. So not much time left. Every morning have to wake up at 5 plus...sleep ard 10 or 11 plus.. panting...

As for maid I leave her alone, as long as I kick she moves, I will live with it for the time being. She just do house chores, cooking and etc. Not much child care as she can't handle the kids.

u really caned him before else how does he knows it is painful and scary? and the cane must have leave mark on him in order to be painful for him to know right? cos my Hanns sometimes still smiling and laughing when we beat his hands using our hands ( even though i beat until my own hands pain, he still like not pain and can still smile) I try not to scream and raise my voice at him but he dun seems to understand that i am angry, still trying to figure out which is the best way for him to understand that he cannot do certain things :-(

happy:: yes i caned him before, but not so hard till it will leave a mark la. you are right, cause for travis, he will also think it's funny when we hit his hands using our hands and he will REPEATEDLY repeat his bad move. So we used the cane on him, each time he did something unacceptable, we hit his hand, just enough to cause some pain for him to remember and now each time he sees it, he will automatically just do something else. Use hand to beat is useless on him, hit until got mark he also won't shed a tear. still think we are playing with him. Make me feel like a fool! haha.

Dreamer: JJ will pinch my nips some months back and I will show no reaction. If he looks at me, waiting for a nice response, I'll say, why? U pinching mummy? But no special response, after a while, he stopped, think there's no fun pinching me there when I am not interested. But i keep thinking why they will know it's a place they are not suppose to be pinching huh?? Nobody told them that...

Hee... definitely will have fever i think so gotta prep myself. was waiting for my puking to stop the i can take care of him, but now, seems like I gotta do it b4 the puking stops..

we went to 1 of the shop selling all those chapalang items and saw a basket of CANES. we took one n told her if she notty, we will use cane her using it and did a demo. she straight away got the idea lor. ahahaha...

it's definitely tough juggling work & kids & lack of sleep. try to catch up a bit of sleep/rest during weekends. let your maid takes care of no. 1 for awhile lor. else u really xiong leh.

i think boys are boys, harder to discipline than gals. G also naughty but we realise that if we hit him or raise our voice at him, he will get more pissed and repeat his naughty acts. Soft approach works better, at least he listens. Last night went to my parent's place and realised that they have already started to intro cane (cos my dad used it to scratch his back!) and he (G) can actually tell me that it is a "teng tiao" and used for beat beat. Best part? he said want to use it to beat Ah Gong! to think that my dad dotes so much on him..haha.

u breast feed? cos breast feed bb will poo more times a day, my milk flow little but i try to so that she can have more poo and immunity cos i already short changed her during pregnancy

yes hanns behave like that when i beat his hand using my hand, look likes i really need to buy a cane to stand by cos nowsaday, he will bite his cousin when his cousin disturb him, funny is he only bite his cousin and not others in childcare, i think he suffered enough under the reign of his cousin since young... sigh
 
Hanns saw his mei mei these 2 days thru the gate and he asked "wat is this?"

After 1 week plus separated from me, he cried when he saw me and refused to let me carry, so heartache :-(

happy:: things will go back to normal. I remember when i was in hospital, travis didn't want to COME near me or EVENinto my room! he cry until so pathetic ley. I also cried then cause i thought he didn't want me. but surprisingly, things immediately sprung back to normal when i went home. haha he is soo cute, ask what is this, i think he will protect her. Travis loves Trishelle very much. everytime he goes home from CC, he will run everywhere to 'see' where she is before gg to play or make trouble. Maybe you can buy a cane to standby first. We bought it and when we showed it to him, it thinks its fun and tries to snatch it from us, so we hit him and he realise, it's not fun at all.

poissons:: haha!!! my dad also dote on T so much until my hubby buay tahan. I think it's one of these days that he will burst and tell my dad that it's not good to overpamper cause T will not know right from wrong!
 
Just went to Dr Chan today. My baby is engaged. Based on Matt, he thinks I still have a week to go. Or it could be any time from now. Must hang on, my hubby only coming back on Sat. Last time, I delivered Matt the next day after hubby came back. And so strange, I actually started losing weight. Lost 700g in one week. Looks like the moment is really coming...

Mummies HELP!!!

Cailyn still having cough. I had given her the 治嗑汤 as advised my K@ye, yes it did help abit and her cough reduced. But she didnt total recover. Out of the sudden last Sat, she started to have green mucus from her nose.. so I brought her to see doc on Sun.

The doc said it is just a common flu. Gave her cough syrup, phlemp syrup and flu syrup. Its been 5days already and it is not getting better.

This morning in her sleep she cough until so bad till she vomitted abit of milk out. I was so hopeful it is her phemlp.

Any advise???

mombobb, A also started to have green mucus this week. She started her running nose last Fri and now has a bit of cough too. Saw doc on Tue and he says we need to give her antibiotic if she dun recover by this weekend.

rachel, u back to work liao, time passes by so fast!

Does she hv running nose? If yes, brewed winter melon with barley, it will help to clear.
 
k@ye: ya she has runny nose. Everytime I fetch her from cc, her face will be very dirty lor. Sigh.. see liao also pe che.. teachers dont do anything to it.

I think later I shall go EYS to get the Hou Ning powder for her to remove the phlegm. How many bottles do I need huh? $66/bottle.. sigh..

missA: I don't think the ang mo medicine really helps alot leh.. She saw doc for 2 times liao and the cough sitll there..
 
Mambobb, cough is very difficult to recover. Most imptly is to let her drink more water & rest more.

Avoid cold & sweet stuff coz it will worsen the cough.

hi-5 lah, my C also cough+phelgm for almost 1 month liao. seems hard to recover coz her childcare frenz also runny nose, cough, etc.
and she vomit her milk almost alternate mrngs on my BED some more, piangz!

i'm done with giving her those western medicine - makes her puke even more. so now just let her take hou zhao san once a day lor n her cough only at nite, day time not so much.

aiyo, so many kids getting flu and cough, mostly from CC??? me really du wish to let Hanns go back to CC though Dr said he can go back to CC liao, really worry that get flu again especially this HFMD ordeal :-( phobia.

heard from my friend that her Paed told her to stop her boy to go CC if possible in case her NB gets any sickness from elder one. I think i will do that but wonder if i can handle both of them????
 
mambobb, EYS has 20% off for members till 16 Aug. I f you want to get the hou ning better get it now. Doc says due to the haze many children are affected.

Mummies - Brought Ash for the mumps jab today and PD told me that I can give him flu jab as an option in Nov and Dec (its 2 shots) since he is going N1 in Jan next year if i want. This will prevent him from the common flu, running nose etc... Anyone has given this fluu jab to your little one?

Weishy - I will check with Chiltern House tomorrow when is the last lesson. If it is in Sep, i can join you guys for the make up lessons on Sat. Will let you know by Sun ya....

Went to gynae on Wed and baby is now 1.5kg and i have put on 13kg...heehee...

ZY also just recovered fr runny nose, but think she caught the cough fr me thereafter, but so far she still eats and sleeps well, juz that will ocassionally cough here n there.

I am keen to know abt the flu jabs too, else next yr if go CC sure will fall sick like nobody business.. sigh

Matt's down with running nose and cough since last week too. Think it was the haze. Then Thurs during the night, started with fever. Sianz man, I go to deliver anytime soon and he is sick. Hopefully he will recover very soon.

any of your toddlers starting to 'hit' another adult when she can't get her way/frustrated?
my hb started complaining C has been hitting him (use her hand to keep hitting him) continuously when he refuse her demands. usually she will just cry it out but now she does both crying/whining n hitting!

i kena over the weekend too when i told her she cannot have her treats (sweet/biscuits) coz it's dinner time and she started crying and hitting me! aiyoh... i almost wana spank her leh. but i just looked sternly at her and told her "NO HITTING" and walked off while she ran after me still crying.

am i doing the right thing?
hiyo, i think i should get the CANE to scare her liao, she getting more notti now. grrr...

wan to check how much is ur kid taking at dinner, at wat time, any milk after tat at bedtime? when we are outside, J can finish 1 whole tin (0.35L) of porridge/macaroni/noodle & sometimes it's still not enuff. at home, he can finish 1 whole bowl of rice. his dinner time is usually 730pm on weekdays & he will take another 200-320ml of milk at bedtime 845pm. Are we over-feeding him?
 


kitty: my C has already starting 'hit' with a 'No' from her mouth lor.. whenever I want to get something from her or ask her to do anything. After telling her cannot beat mummy.. then she will sayang me.. its like 'hit first then sayang later' attitude.. sigh.

I guess nw they just cant express themselves that's y just use the 'hitting' action just to let us know they are unhappy lor.
