didi name will start with L as K has sort of given him a name but no matter how I try to find the spelling, I can't find one that suits it and I asked a lot of pple and they all against the name she given ha ha!! In the end, hb found a name that start with L as well that has the same meaning as K's name. For Chinese name, I have yet to start searching!! I think 2nd one a bit poor thing, a lot of thing just let it be as no time to plan like the first one!!

Ya, seems quite fast to me also, I am getting panicky, still have lots of things not packed. Lucas is counting down and every morning, he can tell me the day's date, this morning he woke up and tell me today is 22nd... and he is really looking forward to 31st, cos he said after 31st wake up, will be 1st and we will take aeroplane loh..... kids just know about having fun, but there are lots of sweat and blood to earn that money and effort to plan... hope the kids appreciate us when they grow up.

I'm not prepared as well and mine is 1 week earlier! So far only bought maternity pad from expo and yesterday just bought S diapers. Realized NTUC don't sell Nepia S :-( bought another brand and hope is ok. Wanted to go down Taka to take a look as well but after work really too tired liao. Still so much things not prepared yet!!!

By the way, is it ok if bb get a cake on the day that he is born? I'm thinking of asking K to use the icing room voucher to decorate a cake when I gave birth so she real understand what does birth day means?

re job change: after 2 y 9m in current coy. my butt starts to itch again. recently my prev job agent called and asked if im interested in changing so i just thought no harm trying and sent her my updated resume. then very soon, an interview is being scheduled! im gg later! though not sure how it will go, but im kinda confused should i take it up if they offer?
cos i ve very good work life balance in my current coy but pay n progression super stagnant. and im still v unsure wat do i really want out of my career. sometimes i think just stay as an exec and devote more time n energy to my family and myself. but at times, i see how my peers maxing out their capabilities at work and getting rewarded for it, i feel that ive underachieve and feel bad abt myself. very confused now...

Totally understand your confusion becos I also happy with my work-life balance company, though the pay and responsibility is stagnant. You need to ask yourself what is your focus? For me, I really have no more energy and time to strive, as I know the work-life balance coy and timing is good for me and suit my lifestyle.. heehee... I think you just go and try and see what the new coy can offer and job scope, perhaps its another work-life balance coy leh?? Good luck yay....

bbwow: same here, i can go off most of the time on dot and my current coy allow me to do so at 515! and during peak period very rarely need to stay back later than 8pm. so the work life balance over here really good. but pay n progression is really stagnant here.

tiffany/junnie: just went for the interview. i think they can pay well and at least 20% jump from my current pay. BUT its was communicated longer hours required. @_@

i v greedy, i want more pay but good hours. guess either i continue finding or just be happy w current job. sigh.

i think most of us having the same mindset on work-life balance. It's always a risk that we have to take so just have to weight the push and pull factor I guess. For me, don't know stagnant for how long liao and I have gave up climbing the ladder long time ago as I think if I have a choice, I'll rather be a SAHM with own biz No matter how much effort you put in for a job, you will just be getting the basic pay on a monthly basis.

I haven't even started to sort out the clothes for didi and don't talk about washing them manz!!! Even the milk bottle, I have yet to sort it out. I think I still have brand new ones somewhere but most likely will buy a new set. the cot and everything else is still not in the right place and lots of things to move to include the cot in the bedroom!! Am leaving those things to my hb hopefully he can do everything soon!!!

talking about losing things, I once dropped my tiffany pendant then hub got a new one and then I flushed it down the toilet again in Taiwan. it was the heart shape lock and I heard a "ting" but didn't know what it is until I got into the coach. Now I think it's floating in the sewage liao. hahaha. I told my hub I'm not fated to own it! haha
