peck, sorry i missed your post earlier. nope i dun grind my cereal. but what i was told is to buy white organice rice to sun , and then grind. they call it chor bee. but someothers say just cook porridge can already. after that, i intend to intro mash carrot or potato with it. but that is only when he can sit. if he cant sit upright by himself, it is dangerous, so we stick to cereal first. by HEINZ.

powermama, they din say to stop selling bumbo in singapore, only got a lot pressure in US and UK. Actually, if we use it safely, i still feel that it is fine. But one thing to remember is never put the child in the seat for ore than 30 mins.

i feel so sad. i just shouted at my top at my husband , and my baby cried so loud. the crying started it off. i have been feelign this stress in me all these while. baby is such a light sleeper that every single noise gets on him. and he still wakes every 1 to 2 hours. i dunno how to handle it really. really. no one seem to know how to pacify him expcet me and i am over loaded.i hate my husband to the core.

Elaine, dont get upset. Men are like dat. They will never be as ON as mothers. Sometimes we just need to let go. Dont push yourself too hard. Whenever you feel stressed out by the kid, pass the bb to your husband & go for a hair wash or facial. Will definitely feel better after that.

jang, athan swam with mr sporty and i was busy taking pics of them...hahha...well, u have to bring lor...cuz at first my mum objected but we dun care la...juz bring...juz when we were bringing him into the pool, my aunties all came and started their nagging...yeah, saw ur msg and added ur name to the list already...will let u kno once we finalise our budgetting for the event...

sporty, went to my mum's place today. Ariel started crying the moment we step in cos think she was not familiar with the place. The moment my dad started playing with her, she started screaming her head off. Gosh! Have a hard time pacifying her. Then on the way home, my elder one started crying cos insisted to take my sister's car back. Took a long time b4 i manage to pacify her. After the visit, i felt totally drained out!

sporty, yes... we shd do tt, for trials, bps, sprees, etc, priority shd be given to jun mummies & must be still active & participative ones. active & participative means come to e forum chit-chat, share experiences, gives advice & support, share gd lobangs & places having sales, help to organise or come for mummies/babies gatherings & bashes, etc. i tink these r e purposes of setting up smh. active & participative does not mean oni active & participate in trials, sprees or bps. i dun mean to offend anyone but many of us hv come a long way to become friends & it's sad to c tt some of our friends r unable to join us.

jen, sporty, i think the organiser deserves the right to give priority to their friends for sprees or other events . it's hard to draw the line between whose active and who is not. to that end, i can live with rejection lah, since i m one of those that spring out from the closet midway.

xtine, no lah... u r not consider non-active mummy, we met at least twice liao during mummies gatherings. i'm sure u hv joined many other gatherings b4 i joined e grp. i got put 1 sentence - help to organise or come for mummies/babies gatherings & bashes. even if 1 is not free to help organise gatherings, 1 can be active by being a participant. if no participants, then organisers do gatherings for who wor. btw, most mummies here r nice & active de, oni a small percent, like 1% is not. keke...
