Regarding the bb wearing shoes before 1 year old:
the myth was that they will have 'slippery feet' hece will keep falling down when they grow up. Not during their learning stage whereby not stable yet. Anyway, this is just hearsay, no factual fact.

me now stopped being a SAHM to temp. so tiring and missing my bb at work... not sure if it's due to teething that she wakes up frequently at night... last nite woke up at 1am, 3am & 5am! so tired...

i was thinking of getting my girl a security blanket too... wonder if they're too "old" for it?

of course they're not too old. they can keep their favourite things until they reach 3-4 years old -- whether its a chow chow pillow (gene's baby), a dirty piglet (my colleague's 19mth old baby), a yelping dog (my 3 yr old nephew)

but you must make sure your girl likes pulling and grabbing fabric lah.

the BP blankies look very nice. too bad i missed the thread and now they're closed.

my bb usually slp tru d nite but these 2wks, some nites, she wld wake up, toss n turn n wriggle like a worm, af a while, not hapi, cry. i oso tink she might b teething. i remb my older boy was like tat. wen he was teething last tx, can wake up hrly, xiong..
my bb uses ookie doll as her security blanket. i bought 2 cos she cant slp wo tat..

no ash din try tat. i try to give him more of 'rice' family food/biscuits which he was ok w it. i realised he may not b allergic to wheat or diary all d tx, i tink d qty n type make a difference. so i look at d label, if it is d 1st item on d ingredients list, then likely d content is high n i wld not buy. eg: baby bites biscuit, thou it has diary in it, but he was ok w it.
as he gets older, i m more 'adventurous', wen he was a young bb, i m more careful.

hey mummies, your bbs really grow very fast leh.. think mine is so lazy.. still dunno how to flip back.. she can only flip to be on her tummy and stop.. not to even say crawl.. dunno if its because she is bui bui leh.. me is a bad mummy.. whenever she come back home, she play with us only.. no toys for her to play with..

updates of my gal, me bad mummy again, dun even know the exact feeding time, only know she is taking 200ml of ebm per feed.. and that i know the nanny has started to feed her porriage with ngoh he, taking 2x a day.. she is also taking the rice cereal mixing with ebm.. like eating so many things hor.. haha!! :p

she has now 2 teeth at the lower jaw and seems cranky at times.. she likes to bite her on fingers, funny leh.. not pain meh? haha.. she now can hold her own bottle and sit w/o support.. but still, she has not much hair and cannot crawl.. sob..

about the myth of wearing shoes, what i heard its that dun let bb wear those shoes with hard soles, not good for their feet growth.. best if can wear those with soft soles.. :p

dreamygal, which tumbletots is near your side? u staying in west area right? me tot of gog for the trial in CCK one leh.. hehe. :p

hi dbaby, what you mean by security blanket? do you mean the kind that has a zip in front, so that bb wont kick away the blanket? i have 2 actually.. its very good for bb who likes to kick away blanket and sleeps in aircon room.. :p i like them very much, put to good use.. bb can wear this up to about 9-12 months, i think.. depend on the height of bb.. cos there is one only size, usually.. :p
 
my son is on a feed strike! dun want to eat or drink milk! he's bn skipping his night feeds and his morning and affternoon feeds got to spoon feed him. argh!! my girl like that, now my son also like that.

my ss is plunging after starting to pump 3x since 2wks ago. now only getting 800mls. must defrost frozen already. I find frozen really smelly. sometimes leak onto clothes hanky and leave a stinky smell!

IMM used to implement parking fees when I worked in the building in the late 90s. Tenants need to pay monthly fees for the transponders. There's a huge dip in business so within 2 months, I think, they resume back free parking. But that was then before the face lift. Now with so many exciting shops, it's really a headache finding a parking lot, especially during weekends. I think it's only fair to pay for the parking (not too much though), if it can lessen the parking problems.

Maybe after Caitlyn falls deeper into sleep, then you try to carry her to her own bed? You sleep better this way too. If Gladys sleeps with me, I'll usually wake up with stiff neck, numbed shoulder, etc. My hubby still sleep like a king kong and takes up half the bed. Gladys took up another 2/3 of the other half. So can you imagine how pitiful I am?

Last time, my friend also stay with her mum/mum-in-law & every time baby cry, they would rush immediately into her room & ask why bb cry. Then, they would carry the bb....so she LOCKED THE DOOR. When they keep knocking on the door, she refused to open. When they asked what happened, she just replied calmly..."Crying lor" Very brave, right!
 
Hi mummies,

The lady at Tumble tots told me that they allow us to bring camera and both parents can accompany the babies.

But cannot take video.
 
Think cos I always "discipline" or is the more "hard-hearted" parent, my bbM dun really like being with me...8-( every time I play with him, he always dun wanta smile...*sigh* but if I dun enforce the "routines" my bbM even worst lor...now, my bb sleeps in his own cot at 7.30pm & wakes up ard 5am....Now, I'm trying to delay his sleeping time to around 10pm so that he can sleep thru until 6-7am. Else, he keeps waking up @ 2/4/5am...then I had to wake up & entertain him cos his daddy is "dead" asleep...

My boy also sleep at around 10pm - 10.30pm too. If any earlier try to make him sleep, he will scream like as if being MURDER!

By the way, he sleep on his side he dun like to sleep on his back think is because he feels hot (he sleep in room with fan only and inside the playpen).

When hes asleep, he also like to flip here & there so can change from 6 oclock position to almost 3 oclock position.

Me also NO TIME to do any blog for my baby. :p

Yesterday he knock out for a short half hour nap at 8.30pm and woke at 9pm..so end up he slept at 11pm.
