hmm...oh u mention about me to voice out..not that i wont, just in a situation tat I cannot bear to do so, as i watch how burdened he is. it's a cycle anyway, just need to perservere.

bbgirl: bbs this age will pull themselves to stand.. and can't figure out that they need to sit then can go back to sleep.. dun ask me how come they can sit when they want when awake.. me dunno. coz haiz. no experience yet.. they will need ur help to go back to sleep untill they can figure out that all they need to do is to bend their kness to sit and sleep.. meanwhile, u have to help her learn that bending soon.. put her to bed vertical and bend her knees for her so that she get used to that movement of sitting down to sleep..

she cries.. coz need help.. coz stuck...jam liao..

Pink/QQ: my best friend is totally unlike me.. she's a sagi, freedom loving kind. think Pink would know sagi very well.. independent and highly capable in looking after herself.. wun go in depth and illustrate why. but we just take it as she is independent.. the problem with her bf is.. he's younger.. by 2 years.. and belongs to one of the water signs.. the most possessive one.. go figure :p.. and damm damm damm affectionate.. that time , in MAc, she was talking to me. as usual, pyschoing me.. and helping me see through some problems.. then justbecause never answer the phone coz on silent mode.. the guy kept calling lor.. 41 missed calls.. oh my..

it beats me too. when my bf . so independent and strong, dun like clingy pple (like me :p).. but dun mind her bf like that.. then i tell her. 'nvrknow u like this kind one..frens clingy u complain hor .bf clingy u smile sweetly hor?? got yi xin4 mei ren xin4'..

when got to know her bf like that. i almost fainted.. think till now.. he also like call her whole day kind..like very free that kind. dun need to work one..
i am saying this, 'complaining' abt this coz mentally unbalanced.. coz me got super focused hb who when working, forget that he has got family and wife one..

bbgirl: me not on strike against him. just that mum was unwell yesterday.. went home earlier.. and then i can't possibly leave teng alone athome go get my food.. food downstairs also sucky.. then waited for miser to come home .. at 10pm then i had my dinner.. Haiz..

at times i complain to miser.. i feel like living widow leh.. duh..he works more than 12 hours a day! sigh..if he is allowed to.. think he wants to go back to work on sat and sun as well!! faint

Pink: i think ur hb not bad lei. take into consideration the feeling of staff..value his staff... if he doesn't get exploited by the staff.. he is doing quite a good job retaining his asset leh.. human asset.. --investing in human capital.. no?

Astro: Yah, babies don't know how to get back into the sleeping position when woke up sitting up or standing up.. So need some help from us..

When she's awake and playing, she knows how to go from a standing position, then bend her knees to squat down a little before plopping herself down to sit or crawl etc.. That, she's quite versatile..

Pink: Yes the flu virus is in the air.. Just hope bb doesn't get it from me.. Even if he does, we've just got the medication for her..

SQ: If I were you, I'll focus and stare very hard and fiercely at the little boy - to tell him off! I also don't want anna to become like dat..

Yvonne: Anna is rotating between mamamamama and papapapapa. But I don't think she knows the meaning of the words yet..

that's his mama's job. why i be the bad guy right? not my kid, i can't be bothered. and these days, most parents are over-protective, hao3 xin1 mei2 hao3 bao4. actually i glared more at the mother. cos i think she's the one to blame.

there's this saying that how your child behaves when you're not around shows the kind of person his/her parent is. i hope my child is the kind of person i would be proud of

i always enjoy seeing how YE interacts with other kids. she's v sociable. most of the time, the other kids are fussing/crying, she will stare in awe. when they are playing and screaming, she will squeal together with them as well.

i don't help YE get back to bed leh. when i leave the room, she will quickly sit up and try to get to the rail of the cot to "catch" me. then she will cry when she realise she's not fast enuf. i still close the door and say good night and leave. cos before that, i tried putting her down to sit and she kept getting up again, i got impatient.
 
Autum.. hm.. partime caring of EJ.. can consider ah. but must get yvonne come and help. haha!!! u remember bring your poster (at least yoru big photo) to show EJ otherwise he cries then how? huh? he starts to have stranger anxiety liao. haha!!

bbgirl, ya tian also cannot back to her sitiing and lying position from standing. she is only 1 way trained. haha!

yvonne, tian also calls mamam papa.. she calls mama more often now. i think she knows.. but not very consistent still. she cannot do flying kiss, but she knows hi-five! (not very consistent still).

QQ: Yes, anna also knows hi-five! This one quite consistent compared with her other hand movements..

Astro: Just now at the PD's, I asked him to give anna a developmental check.. And he did! He passed her 2 blocks to knock against each other.. Actually we haven't showed her this before.. So I have to do it in front of her, and then she could follow.. She doesn't know how to pass the block back to the PD when asked to yet.. The rest he said good..
 
SQ: When YE wakes up at 5am, what does she do? And do you then go pick her up? Or you let her be until later? Did u try putting her into a sleeping position again to go back to zzz until 7am?
 
SQ: I will still stare at the little boy.. And I'll do it even if in front of the parent as well.. Not becos' I want to teach him a lesson, but becos I want him to know he's pissed me off.. I lagi more evil than you..

when she wakes up at 5am, she would have started to cry.

initially, i let her cry and see if she returns to zzz. but she din. (cos sometimes when she wakes up at night and cries, i let her be. she will stop v soon and get back to zzz).

but the times i've tried, when she wakes up at 5am, she doesn't wanna go back to zzz. she cried for more than half hour and still refuses to zzz. i think cos she's had enuf zzz liao. so now, when she wakes up at 5am, i will go to her room before she starts to cry.

the reason i do that is i want her to know that she doesn't have to cry to get my attention. when she's supposed to be in her cot (at night), she can cry and i won't come. but in the morning, when it's time to wake up, i will got to her even if she doesn't cry.

logical anot? still trying to figure out this one leh...

and i don't put her into a sleeping position, except when she first goes to bed.

so if i put her down, and she sits/stands up, i will leave her room still. she got to guai guai sit down and lie down and zzz herself.

am i making sense here? difficult to type leh

i think it's the parents fault leh.
they never teach their son properly

when YE is older, i will explain to her what the boy just did and why it's wrong. but now, i can only tell her if she's the one doing the wrong thing herself. can't use other's examples to teach her yet
 
SQ: I know what you mean.. Hmm.. Do u give her milk after that? And what time does she take her first day nap and for how long?

It's very tiring to wake up so early everyday for you and hubby leh..
 
SQ: I agree entirely it's the parents' fault. But can't "tell off" the parents mah.. So best is to show a face to the little boy. Actually depending on his age, I'll even say "excuse me" rudely to him. He's asking for it to "challenge" you by shoving away your hand..
 
clever gal you, Baby Girl.

she doesn't drink milk so early (i know cos i tried, tot she might be hungry). she'll only drink at 6+ or 7am, after a few attempts to "force-feed" her.

all she wants is to stick to me and play. that's why i think she's had enuf zzz liao. i mean, how long can one zzz right?

her first nap is at 9+am, anytime from 1-2 hours average. can be as short as half hour, or as long as three. see her mood

actually i'm ok lah. i just zzz earlier lor. work my timing around hers. my hubby is the pig that can't make it
 
SQ, i oso think that little boy is v rude. I oso cant buay tahan kids being rude to elders. Probably due to our upbringing. My mummy nvr allow us to tok loudly at hm whereas HB's family likes to tok v loudly...maybe chao hi lang. hee..

Once i saw a mummy wif 2 kids and a maid in a train. The mummy was carrying her bb gal in her arms cos she was asleep. U noe wad, that little boy punched the sis's tummy suddenly..maybe he was jealous or wad. I was extremely shocked!! But that mummy nvr beat the son and just told him "boy boy, mei mei sleeping. U cannot hit her ok." Wah lau, if im the mother, i will surely and confirm give the boy one tight slap for being so notti.

Realised there is another evil mummy here...hahaha!!!

Can it be she is hungry? Some baby, like mine, cannot sleep on empty stomache. Once I give her milk, she go back to sleep again. She sometime still wake up twice a night for milk.
 
SQ: In YE's case, I can't figure out that she still wants to zzz some more.. as u said, she's woken up and want to be around you...

Most impt is you're fine with her schedule.. And as you are, let it be..

but if i do that, it shows what the kind of person i am also right. i used to be lidat, now i try to change cos i want to set a good eg for YE.

that's why i think being a parent makes me a better person.

it's just like rude cashiers. they never smile, no "thank-you"s. and treat customers machiam we owe them a living. last time i would have given them an equally black face.

now i will still say thank-you cos i want to teach YE to be polite. that's the only way i can think of lei... lei chey, i feel like slapping the service staff sometimes, but i got to control myself and do what i would like my dotter to

About that little boy, is he alone in the lift with you? Or with his parents? So far, I never encounter such situation. But I believe I will be as 'naughty' as him. If he dare to put my hand, I will dare to shout at him =P Bad example.

Anna doesn't like to be confined in her play yard anymore.. She used to be able to be inside for a long time. Now she'll make noise and want us to carry, want us to play with her, or want to come "outside".. I think she's getting bored.. We let her out for more time these days.. Let her explore around the house..
