I'm on for 11th & 18th!

Celebrate A's bday w family today. Altho only a small one, I already feel so tired. Can't imagine those of u who organize a big party. Mayb due to my heavy tummy too.
Tom is his actual day celebration in sch.

if it's only 1 person in this thread that "make" u decide to hide away, pls dun do that. if it is bcos this forum is distracting, i agree totally that u shld hide to concentrate on more impt things!
as for ur 1st post, all i wan to say is u hv been a wonderful wife, mother and daughter-in-law, as well as being a good SIL to Jay's sisters.

star, that was 年初三 u saw me @ NEX. Not v far as we came fr Yishun. But we couldn't find the entrance to the carpark so we parked at the one in interchg. NEX is indeed a bigger mall as compared to jpt. So many shops n restaurants.
 
QQ, not sure whether u see this post or not. I hope everything is alrite at ur end. There is always two sides of the coin. Is up to you which side you are looking at.

mummies, i cant make it this friday cos hb and i took leave to celebrate Clyde's Bday in sch and there is a MTP session in the afternoon. so the whole day is more or less a family day for us. Hope to join you all the next time. sighh..

Ok, I suggest this - Dinner @ Makansutra Gluttons Bay Hawker Centre at Esplanade. Then we can go for drinks at those alfresco areas around there?

ash, i have went for this before, its not bad but all grill meat and bbq and its outdoor. accessible via suntec (carreefour side).
if u all cna eat grill meat and seafood this is quite value for money but need a NUS alumni member to bring us in. and must book early too.
 
RR: hahah ok ok any coffee place will be good. i think gotta confirm the location first and then we can decide from there.

so where have u decided?
Orchard, City Hall, or suntec/marina side?

i think wiat for the rest to decide cos i most prob won;t be able to join for dinner.
 
AAA; someone will do it for u. u pick the raw stuff u want and pass it to the waiters/staff bbqing.. and they will bring to your table after that. its free flow of juices and u have salad as well plus some simple dessert. when i was there, the staff screwed up 2 of my colleague's servings and their stuff did not arrive at all!..i remember they have scallops, beef, chicken, wings lamb etc.

This bbq that ash is suggesting is on the outdoor terrace, they have an indoor aircon area as well.. maybe this is the bistro mentioned here.

AAA, I’m into my new job for a yr. So far so gd but just received news that pay is freezed for the time being and only be reviewed after FY11(early July). Sigh, new implementations from management is not looking now…turn-over rate high since last dec. Who noes I might be the next to leave.

Me too. I going for wisd tooth op on Wed so I seriously doubt if I can do any major eating (Buffett) on Friday. Pls decide on your after-dinner coffee-place first then I see if I can join in for coffee.
