YT kenna complained by teacher! Hmm, teacher just told me that YT kept throwing temper tantrums in school. She's going to call me at 4pm to discuss strategies to deal with this...
 


i feel strssed..by teng'sconstant meltdowns.. he is getting grumpy n angry all the time.. every morning i wake up to his screamings n cryings.. dun even have to mention the drama to get him to school.. at home.. i wld think he wld be better but no. he still acts up.. lying on the floor refusing to move (if we ask him shower etc)..v ironic.. but his best behaviuor is during class at LV!.. v sian with teng... argh..

Well, the teacher did say she has some books that she thinks I can read... The thing is, she's usually quite okay at home, or at least in my presence. I don't kenna meltdowns by her much. Maybe because she know if she went too far with me, the cane will appear. Of course, in school they cannot implement physical discipline.
 
Pink, I am not able to go ur house on 1May liao. Realise hb will be out of town. So can't go.

HI Mummies, my maid is really gutsy. I complain to the agency abt her attitude on Wednesday and the agency called her up at my inlaw place. After the call, the maid asked my mil why the agency called. My mil told her the truth telling her becos hb and I complained her to agency. I thot it would be a norm for a maid to feel ashamed and dun wish to talk abt it and improve herself. But hor, my maid no hor, in the evening she asked me whether what mil said is true?!!! *faint* I told her yes becos I employed her via agency, anything i should feedback to the agency. She said,"ya sure sure.. i just want to find out whether what nai nai said is true." sighh... gutsy rite.
 
And the worse thing is, MIL and teacher complained that YT kept going to pee. Then teacher said she can go to toilet, then within 10 mins, said she is urgent again. She even wet herself. When FIL fetch her from school, she will said she want to pee halfway. I told FIL to ignore her and once, although she kept saying very urgent, reach home also she never pee. But hor, somehow when she's with me, no such things! She did pull the pretend to be urgent trick with me sometimes when she want to get down from the high chair but only once or twice. This appears only recently, coinciding with the time I started work. Hmm.... Anyway, gonna observe her carefully today. If still peeing like that, I'll have to suspect UTI.

how long has it been since Teng started throwing tantrums before going to school? Leia took about 3 mths to settle down.

i think i kena manipulated by my gal.
she is teaching me how to pronounce Cinderella and some other words, I must repeat after her if not she will throw tantrums, i cant punish her for this?

last nite, i burst out laughing, was pumping milk, no energy to argue with her. we were looking at pictures of water-melon, the inside (red with seeds) and exterior (green with stripes).

Leia pointing at the inside:"Mummy, what is this?"
Me: Water Melon
Leia pointing at the exterior:"Mummy, what is this?"
Me: Water Melon
Leia:"No, this is a BALL."
Mummy:" No, this is the outside of a water-melon."
Leia:" No, this is a Ball. SAY BALL." start to throw tantrums.
Mummy:" No, this is also water melopn."
Leia:"No, SAY BALL"
Mummy:"hiaz...ok ok BALL"
Leia:"Yes, say again. what is this *point at red*
Mummy:"water melon"
Leia:" wat is this? *green part*
Mummy: "Ball"
Leia:"Good"

Re: Reyden's rashes
The suspected cp rashes turned out to be a virus infection. He woke up with a swollen left eye and patches of redness all over the body this morning, couldn't open his eye. Doc said it's the infection and worsened cos he rubbed it. Given antibotics and eye drop.

yup, oral antibotics. So far only put the drop for him twice, still ok but can see him jump up everytime the drop goes into the eye. Hope will still be easy later.

at least he is willing to lie down and let u drop. that time leia didnt even want to lie down, so we resort to giving antibiotics jab. if eye drop doesnt work, have to put eye cream.

oh ... think his condition still not as bad. Can see the swell went off quite abit after antibotics and eye drop. Anyway they gave us an appointment for the eye specialist next week in case the swell don't go off.
 
qq: did u set the cooking menu correctly? they got quick/ rapid and regular. quick/ rapid is 20 to 30 min done, regular takes about 50 min and is good for brown rice type.

Pink: leia v farnee ... similar to my gal, she goes around and say :dun call me v ... i am not v, i am jie jie" *faint* and she will throw tantrum and fuss over we call her "jiejie" ... i not going to fight with her on this ... too exhausted already.

Mejo: maybe u can ask YT (if she doesn't like to see doc) that u heard she needs to keep going to the loo - she say yes, then tell her need to bring her to doc for checkup ... if she faking it, then she won't do it? maybe also shd ask if it's painful, if yes, then really UTI.

My rice cooker also took 50mins to cook rice. There is a quick cook, took 40mins. The rice cooker is those fizzy logic or computerised rice cooker. Hence will take longer time to cook but the rice is nice.

i also hv updates on my ex-maid. she can't find employer liao, actually got 1 or 2 employers wants her, n she willing to hv no off day during their interview. But she changed her mind w/i the same day, the agent so angry w her, hv to send her back to hm liao... so yaya hor! buay tahan!

i told my agent to send her back cos the work permit still under my name n i still incur levy for her leh, n she still dilly dally pick n choose her employer. sigh!
 
giolyn: i wldnt take the chance to continue w this maid man. scared she mite do something nasty to the family after this incident.

huingee/QQ: if want to cook rice fast, cannot buy rice cooker that is too smart/good. my rice cooker only has 1 button to cook n its fast :p

autum. stress!!! no le. the rice cooker is like that one. since day 1. and the rice is super nice. ek hem.. but there is a function, call quick cooking, maybe i should use that function.
 
She did not apologise. Her objective is just want to find out whether i got complain her or not. With this i hope will wake her up that i can still seek Agency help since the agent is pretty fierce. She better play her cut rite. Hb and I decided to give her a last chance.
 
huh why u all take so long to cook rice? Mine very fast leh. Abt 10mins. But mine is not those fanciful one with digital display screen.

QQ: what is the brand of your rice cooker, isit those atas brand like panasonic with all the logic cooking programme etc. My panasonic takes 50mins to cook rice too..and i also very angry with it. Then i go borrow my mum's no brand rice cooker (this is her extra cooker) so fast 15mins, the button jump already and rice is cook! so u wanna buy a cheapo rice cooker instead?

cos the work permit not cancelled yet, if cancelled liao, she is staying here illegally, will incur overstaying fine.

anyway, i give agent up till monday. very pek chek w my ex-maid.

hehehe... well, the employer wants her base on no hp n no off day. she agreed during the interview and change her mind later. she's not really to work lah

I dun mind letting her hv off day, after she has serve at least 1 yr. but not so soon lah. anyway, she so yaya, tt i hv to give her... sigh!

i suddenly hate my rice cooker so much! it looks ATAS, and yes it is ATAS! i got a obiang rice cooker before and the rice is also chao da at the bottom, sian. so i bought a ATAS one, and need to ATAS until tummy go hungry.

so huingee, pink, star and my rice cooker are all NICE RICE one ah.
hm... i feel like exchanging mine with RR or ASh. haha! or i go back KL buy back an obiang one. or take one from my mum. ANGRY leh.

bunnie, i go back try QUICK cooking and see. cause hor, really buey tahan. and i am verys ure that i DID not use it wrongly. i read the manual one le. haha!

this am tian also refuse to go PT initially, but i still got a lot of time cause PT starts 9am. so i ask her if she is ok if I read her a story book first. she said ok.
then no choice liao, we xchanged condition, and she has to go school. i promised her that tonight i will read her the same story cause she likes this story now. *the ugly duckling*
last night papa made her yell and cry in bath room. cause papa also act smart la. ended up tian buey tahan him.
i told him that serves him right (not in front of tian). hee hee.

mejo, i can't wait for your updates on your little chilli. but i am oni worried that she has UTI cause anyone wanna go toilet too often, i will suspect that. need to be careful.

I got a "xiao guan jia po" at home.. if something the maid has not done.. she will go "likah, why like that? " :X opps.. hahahaa.. ya imitation of me..

actually it is okay for her to call it a ball.
you can give her a paper and pencil, u draw the watermelon, then with skin and flesh.
then u hold her hand to write BALL, WATERMELON (whatsoever). then put down todays date, it is memorable.
she can learn words, and drawing at the same time. i like this!

the digital rice cooker takes so long to cook? lucky i bought the old fashion one last time coz i cheapo haha. cook in 10 mins... but do they really give softer and fluffier rice?

i heard one story before (from my teacher). a parent was surprise that her son calling his own poo poo, MOON.
he said, my poo poo loooks like the moon.
the mum was surprised. why ah? why moon? not ball? not banana, not sausage?
she just ignore
so one day boy playing playdough, he said MOON again. he was making poo like shapes, rod shape pattern.
the mother was surprised again, and observed him.
he used a cutter and cut the crosssection of the rod. and said, i have so many moon, round round.

the moral of the story is: child is not always right, but they dun bluff. the sai4 really looks like moon to his perspective.
cannot say he is wrong. but he can IMAGINE the cross section even before cutting it. haha!
 
QQ, u very bad. I also tell u mine is 10min mah. Why u din comment?!!! Fedup. hahahha... think mine and magsmum one same lah. those old fashion one but won't burnt one lah.

now i realise old fashion cooker got good points. i must try the quick cooking function. see how.

eh i tot u got fire on your head about your maid, so i dare not read your post la. cause i also getting a maid soon. scared! haha!
 
QQ: since u thnk ur rice cooker not gd.. buy new one ah.. remember if u want fast cook rice.. look for cooker with fast cook button! hehehe

my rice cooker also cheapo type, think got it for $29.90. Simple and fast but don't know about quality of the "fan" cos never tried atas rice before. Next time you cook some for me to try, k?

i'll have to find another time to explain to her more about water melon. she is very stubborn i tell u, so i rather not argue and waste my energy, when she is not in the argumentative mood, i will pyscho her.
 
QQ : talking abt maid.. i dunno if i shared it here.. i was damn damn damn fed up the night before.. at 10.30pm after my dinner.. my stupid maid tell me that "mdm no more rice" i tot still got a bit or wat.. i go and open the container.. NOT EVEN A GRAIN OF RICE!! I TELL U!! I FEEL LIKE KILLING HER ON THE SPOT LOR!!!

when i reach home she dun say.. before i eat she dun say.. when my hubby reach home she dun say.. wait until i EAT FINISH ALREADY den TELL ME!!!
