most of the time is when the bb not surviving. But sometimes if the twins are showing signs of blood to blood transfusion (one twin will be absorbing more than the other and growing better), they'll have to sacrifice the smaller one in order to make sure the chances of survival for the other one is higher. Quite sad for the mummy actually ...
 


RR: Well done!!! Can i pay u to make an extra set for Rae.. she loves her "Mimi mouse" too.. hahaha i very peifu you leh.
rae also into micky now.. she also calls them MiMi!!
 
mummies, i watching channel 5 now.. so sad showing this 4yr boy who is very badly burnt.. so heart-wrenching.. it's showing how he will go surgery.

actually not Rae difficult to feed lah cos RR don't like spaghetti and roast meat also. So I'll give them the food they like most of the time but in different variety lor.
But gals being choosy eaters will end up slim when they grow up. Like my sis who don't eat alot things is slim whereas I eat everything and grow. :p

star: no lah, S very fussy one... this afternoon we had salad/sandwich brunch... she only wanted Ham and nothing else... plain ham lei... so salty?!?

Astro: actually we also told S she was naughty that's why she's in pain... that's y she has to at tough lor...

hahaha... miser really humorous lei... fire alarm for kids to press... lol...

sigh... hb keep asking me to pack my luggage... reluctant.. cos don't want to go for that trip and my stupid menses must choose this month to be late! sian!

star: Rae pretend talk.. manageable.. teng pretends feed! then insists must feed nana first before he drinks his milk/eat his food.. sometime.. he brings his oily spoon near his Nana and 'feed'..then carry the same nana to bed.. gosh.. i told ellie.. 'nana needs a bath'

then teng likes to bring Toothy to the shower! i want to faint liao..

RR: today i open ceremony my rice moulds.. hahah. coz anyhow do with last minute frie rice that ellie make. end up all loose. bt i think ellie enjoys it leh. ha.. ok lor.. got things for her to do liao. ur mice looks good mah.. impressed!

swmom: yalor.. coz must get this misunderstanding recitfied mah.. coz i nver said anyhing wor! so ur post caught me by surprise.. :p i only remembered telling her dun make things difficult for u nia..

star: teng also like that liao.. only Carbo and meat.. gosh...no fruits nor veg.. haiz..

no need to pay, I'm just afraid that the food will scare Rae, haha!!

RR also don't know how to say "Mickey mouse", they'll just say "mimi mouse" for both Mickey and Minnie, so funny. No wonder people always say only the mummy can understand what their kids are talking about. :p

that means only can get the Pirate ship at the warehouse sale? outside i think dun have. how much did you pay? i think i saw it last year at the sale but i can't remember. haha

RR: u never see Rae being fed, she is REALLY REALLY a super fussy eater. u ask Mr Lai, cos QQ told me Mr Lai's say that he tot YE and tian diff to feed but then after he saw Rae, he say she is the most ultimate one.. hahah. she dun eat veggie at all. only plain rice, cannot mix with anything, corn and fish. thats all. and this is what i have been feeding her all the time! and mash veggies too (this is the only way she will eat her veggie). when we go out, she cano eat nothing exp bread.. and nuggets and fries now lah/. she dun like fried egg, i tried so many times! now she has stopped eating hard boil eggs too!

if want use mould, cannot use fried rice cos too dry liao, will come loose. I recommend you a type of rice which will be good for moulds. It's those "zhen zhu mi", pearl rice. Cook liao will be abit sticky and smooth, easy for the kids to swallow even without soup.

tks for the compliments. I thought it resembles MM slightly too but Kent "destroyed" my confidence when he burst out laughing the moment he saw it.

today teng went to gug.. saw teacher Zee.. he was happy and said hi to her.. then immediately he blurted out something.. i was like 'teng.. what are u saying'. .teacher Zee said.. 'zoo bag?! ya. rayer the zoo bag is over there.. '.. then teng just nod his head and said 'zoo bag, there.. there'.. 2 things i am impressed here.

i am impressed with teacher zee for being able to decipher teng's murmuring!

aso. teng for haivng such sharp eyes. i was still looking at who is in the room.. and he saw the zoobag liao!

RR: roger.. will buy that once i am done with the jasimne rice.. i thought of buying jap rice just for teng for the moulds. ha. miser will kill me!

but kids' taste change all the time. You can try abit of those food she rejected some time later. There are food that RR used to like but now they don't eat and last time they don't eat leafy vege but now they eat.
 
Autum: i got it at the warehouse last ur.. i went so late, was there the last weekend before the sale ended.. cos iw anted to save money and not go lah./ but who knows once i went, i ended up spending $108. actually quite worth cos i got a lot of stuff at $108 ( doddle pro, Lp sets etc) I paid $30 for the set, very wu hua hor! think irin also got it at the same price. i went to see my blog to find out how much i pay cos i recorded it there lah.

irin: I want want ur bento set. next time we have outing, u can some and let us try lah.. hehe wha maybe i should do the same as what u have done, then my daughter would be more inetrested in food!. hey RR likes the Nori?

Astro/RR: teng good with pronouceation, can pronouce, Mickey..rae only "MiMi" dunno why cannot say the "Ki"at the end

ya, that zhen zhu rice is something like Jap rice but not as sticky so we can eat also. I don't really like Jap rice cos find it too sticky.

i went ikea website and surprisingly the pic of the table set not there! hmm.. will take pic another time ok. now lazy.
 
Astro: get the asutralia pearl rice.. a lot cheaper than the japanese ones.. and its the same as well. i used it to make sushi too.
 
RR: i try to make her eat veggie for a very long time liao, now that she can say No, she will say NO! same with fruits. she use to take, now dun like liao, only like her blended peach!
 
heh heh.. EJ can say *Mickey Mouse* very well! i think it's because in his school, there is mickey cartoon pasted so the teacher taught them to say.

It's very time consuming and needs lots of patience to do the Nori cutting. I will only do it when I'm in super good mood. At least if they don't eat, I won't feel like killing them. haha!!

They are ok with the Nori. Sometimes when I run out of Nori, I'll use normal seaweed, they are ok with that too. You can try giving Rae seaweed to try 1st.
 
RR: bingo wor. teng used to be ok with his veg and fruits.. to the extent i was proud of him.. now i am so .. haiz. pissed off with him leh.. u must see him when he eats veg.. he takes one.. bite bite.. not even put fully in mouth wor.. then removed it with a very disdained expression! fruits also like that.. fruits leh. sweet leh! this boy hor.. haiz..

Star: teng is not particularly good with pronunciation. it is a phrase they all pass thru.. teng used to keep repeating the last word.. like for eg.. i said 'u want to eat rice?' he will repeat rice.. or i said.. elephant.. then he will go 'phant'.. then after that.. he repeats phant-phat.. he calls peacock 'cock cock'..last time.. gosh.. :p..then slowly he is able to combined two sllyabi .. but disjointedly.. like two words like that.. but onc he is done with that.. then three syllabi liao.. and i noticed.. this is when u can help the kid to add on to the vocabulary by expanding the phrases they said..
eg.. teng wil go 'out out'.. if he wants to go out..
then i will say go out.. he repeats..
i add. want to go out..he repeats.. then eventually he will say.. rayner wants to go out..

also same thing with chinese.. used to be 出去.. now is 要出去.. we are trying to add his name. to complete the sentence.. teng wants to go out in chinese.. ..

rr:i like jap rice though.. :p

the "zhen zhu mi" I'm using is from Australia but think not all supermarkets sell that. I got it from Giant cos NTUC don't have.

I realised now the kids are very into "I want ....", just like last time's "No". Think it's really a phase. One of them will go "I want ..." then the other one will "I also want ...", faintzzz ...
 
teng yesterday was introduced to roti prata.. he called it pancakes when he first saw it.. then i told him.. roti prata.. he refused to repeat after me.. then last night. ellie was trying to get him to sleep.. he slept too much. end up playing.. and told ellie.. 'boti prata'..ha..

then ellie said. teng is that kind of children.. observed kind.. wun repeat the first time.. need to give them some time. then they will come home and repeat!

RR used to love avocadoes but now don't really like liao. Maybe cos I gave them too much of it last time.
 
RR: hahahah.. teng in in his 'don't want', 'not nice', 'no' phrase.. he tells u his dislikes very clearly.. ha.

actually u have a disadvantage. if one of the twins like something.. say fruits.. then can egg the other twin who might not like it.. peer pressure.. both will like liao! hahhahaa..

these days teng laughs a very funny way leh. he goes.. 'heh heh heh hehehehheeeh.. ' u knw like evil witch laughing.. but he has so much fun when he laughs like that!

erm.. i think this observe-and-regurgitate-later is very common in all kids. i have observed this many times in EJ.. if we say somethings a few times, he will not say anything and might even look at us in a stone-stone manner.. then at night before sleep.. he will just blap and blap.. everything comes out in one long blap.. be it names of things, phrases, songs etc.. it's quite funny.

no leh, they've got very distinct likes and dislikes. But to a certain point, you are right cos one will still try but will still spit out if he/she really don't like the food. So at least they did try lah.
 
then today. gug..was doing 'j'
they were trying ot get the kids to jump.. then all the kids trying lah. only afew succedded.. teng was so enthusiatic. trying to jump.. BUT the problem is.. his method of jumping.. is jogging on the spot. very very fast kind. he thinks that is jumping! and he was laughing as he did that.. i had to tell him.. 'teng, JUMP.. not JOG.. though both starts with J'...:S
 
Astro: i think Rae seems to be able to handle 3 syllabus words, just yesterday, i heard her say "Baby Eat Cake" .. but dunno why some words, she still cannot pronounce leh, like Mickey (MiMI) i repeat the correct word to her, she still cont to call it MIMI.
 
Sylvia impresses me with "oh oh no more playground"...cos playground renovating.. or bird bird..sing song"... then if u want to feed her something when her mouth still has stuff.. "you" pointing to her mouth (to say she still has food in her mouth)...
 
autum: really? maybe. the kids i manage to observe get it right the first time round.. or at least will demonstrate an attempt to copy. so i thought teng was funny lor

Dylan don't enjoy the pirate ship that much. Don't know why, he like to play Esther's dollhouse. Lucky we set up train set for him, so now he into train. Or else always playing girl's toys.
Haha, my boy pronounced Mickey mouse as Mi mouse. Even shorter than Mimi mouse.

oh ya, I remember something very funny during their HFMD period. Reyes was recovering and eating ice-cream when Reyden's ulcers just started. He refused to eat the ice-cream and Reyes actually said to him: "i-seam nice, you want?" He started to cry and run away while Reyes kept running after him with the ice-cream to ask him to try. Apparently he didn't believe in his sister's taste. :p
 
star: coz Rae knows mickey so well. she wants to call him affectionately mimi.. difficult lah.. this one affection. has to accept :pP

it's very strange how our kids can pronounce or mispronounced words and very soon Rae will 'suddenly' can say Mickey. no reason la. Before EJ can say Mickey, he was saying "Min Mouse". We also dunno why he say "Min". Then elephant was "Effem" for a long while.. very cute. then suddenly he can say elephant..
 
star: no! teng doesn't know jog..he knows only run fast fast..

i am saying.. teng 's way of jumping is jogging! i was the one who told him.. jump not jog.. though both starts with j wor.. i am the one with the good vocab.. whahahahha :p

Rae pronouces it as mimi mouse is it cos you introduce Minnie to her 1st and it sounds like mimi? So when you tell her about Mickey, she'll still say mimi cos they look similar mah. I think for RR's cases are like that leh.
