these two brothers hor, should sit down and discuss. rotate la.. they should know that their mum is in fear now.

jay is bochap type, bil is a nice guy afterall but he is not free to chap at the moment. so all act blur.
dil are too smart not to give any comment.
but end up relatives come tell me why dun i let tian stay with her in kl. then she will have the best of two worlds. got friends, got chidlren.
i just IGNORE.

yvonne.. wahhaAA!!! be careful!!!! they might ask u all for a set of key after that. u need to think if u want to give them a set. once given, they can come in anytime they like..

but my PILs do have a set of my housekeys. its more for me and ws than for them. eg. incase we left our sets in the office, we can still drive over to get the spare set to get home.

Haha, my fil will come my house without informing us. I'm not happy cos a few times only me and the kids at home at night. Quite shock and not used to other people opening my door. Somemore i didn't wear bra inside after i shower at night. Told hb fil must inform us if he coming.

Oh my! I just discovered this maid who does the cooking siphoned out a portion of food for herself to finish off before anyone of us eats! She says it's for tasting.. ??
No wonder I feel how come the portions have been much lesser when she cooks compared to my previous maids.
 
QQ: Yah, ignore those relatives' comments. Let Tian go kl to stay?!?! If anyone suggests this to me, I will stare at them with a burning gaze!

Kaexin: Not bad, they're so easy to please. Go develop some and give them lah. Even better, put the pics into frames first and pass to them.
 
Astro: Yah, she's the only one who does cooking. I think that's tantamount to stealing (albelt it's food), doesn't it?
But well, at least she admits she ate it after I questioned her.

We refer to them as new and old maid instead of young and old. She's the newer maid who happens to be younger too.

ya, my in laws are easy quite chincai. i did get them 2 8Rs in frames for them to display, but that was during the last outdoor PS we brot K and the PS that we brot them too. its been a while. you know what that reminds me, MIL wanted me to help her develop photos of my nieces for her. it seems my BIL passed her a thumbdrive
 
Kaexin: I've been to Lake Tahoe. We got there by chance cos we lost our way. Haha! The whole lake was covered in ice then. Exotic lala at lake tahoe? Hahah!!

tell your MIL everyone welcomes her, ask her to choose! :p ya she has a few choices, so test water say different thing to test who welcomes her most.

i know abt the insecurity part but sometimes i ask myself im helping to take over her daughters' task, she will need me more than them, if she doesnt have confidence in me, then why must i continue to be nice? really not worth it. i rather give to my own mum.
 
Nana: Err... It's a given the employers have to provide food to the maids right?
I think her siphoning food and eating them before me is not acceptable. For me to notice the portions are lesser than before, then what's she's taken's got to be quite significant for tasting purposes.

AA:my family.. my mum eats first.. then ellie eats. me and miser eat last ..
coz if not all waiting for one another.. i will tell ellie to go eat first one. coz i waiting for miser to come back and eat together..then she can settle teng etc.. then miser and I will clear up the food..

for me last time.. if they dun wan to eat den they cook seperately or they cook their own food.. this maid is really too much! yes.. they cannot be siphoning food.. at least if they ask before hand and we agree.. but !! aiyo! to me also not acceptable..
 
Astro: If I'm not around or want to take a nap, then I will tell them to eat first too. So different case.
I wouldn't have found out if I hadn't asked her to cook chicken wings today. I always make it a conscious effort to leave enough food for them. So as I was eating, I counted the number of wings left and discover they were lesser. Then I asked her if she followed my instructions to cook 12. At first I thought she pre-packed the number of wings wrongly, which is fine by me. She insisted the number was correct. Then I asked her to count.. She counted over and over. Then lastly, she told me she ate them. Which was when I asked if she's eaten the veg and meat too. And she said yes, she ate them for tasting..

I just walked away. :p
 
AA; hey selcom i see u get so "hot" in here.. i think the maid really getting on ur nerve liao. Is she a big eater?i have been hearing stories of maid eating a lot. seems like ur new maid is one of such case. maybe her cooking so delicious until she cannot resist.. anyway i agree.. she could at leats tell u about it instead of secretly eating it herself. Its not as if u will say no if she ask for more food.

If you noticed, there was no photo of YT's 4 year old cousin on the rides. Cuz he simply refused to go on any! Even after I assured him I'll stand beside him when he sit on the horse, he utterly refused. He said he is scared... oh well. I guess it is a matter of character. Some of them are just more introverted and shy.

If there isn't enough food, she can cook more mah. Everyday I only tell her what I want to eat. And if she doesn't ask, I leave her to gauge and decide on the proportions.

Oh, the old maid eats more. But then again, it could be becos' she doesn't eat one portion before we do. Haha..

astro, my logic for not renewing is:-

1. How do you know that Ellie will return after her return to Phil. They are allowed to go back after 2years and is under ur exp.

2. Ellie may feel complacent and may take things for granted.

These are the two main reason.

AA, i will scold ge ge ask "how come Anna has rashes, you did not see when u bathe her meh... u mean the rashes come suddenly... meaning you did not clean her well just now and caused her to have rash.." corner her left right centre until she dunno how to answer.

QQ, so far I dun really own the maid except the recent one who is also leaving. But there is alot of maid stories. So far no horror story yet. Typical one are maid are lazy, mia, no initiative, dunno how to do housework, miss home, financial problem back home, dunno how to take care of kids, talk long hours on mobile, talk tagalore to kids, cannot get along with mil, talk back to mil etc. oopppss seems like a lot hor. hahaha... if need more detail tell me which one u want to know.
 
AA, aiyoh like that very tiring hor. Need to monitor the food like some stocktake.

Once hb and i bot bao for inlaw and maid when in law was having the maid. So we ask the maid to bring the 4 bao back to inlaw house and say to her that one of the bao is for her. So along the way she walked back to inlaw house she taken one. So when reach home there are 3 bao left. Hb call to tell his mother that the bao is for them and 1 bao is for the maid. Then mil said yah she knows cos there only have 3 baos (there are only fil, mil and maid stay in il house but sil will go there in the day time sometimes). So hb was shocked cos he actually gave the maid 4bao which meant to give one to his sis as well. So if he did not make the phone call, maid would have taken 1bao extra. *faint*
 
A&A - Change her. Hee...tell me her name, in case accidentally, I chose her ;P

Germaine - You know...I always have this fear that if I am too fierce with the maid, she will take revenge on my children (mistaken washing powder for milk powder?). So I try my best to speak to her nicely but also at times...I will explode over more jialat matter. So manage to shortlist any maid?

QQ/mist: dun be scared after all the maid's horror stories. there are still good ones. but of cos, they are human after all. cannot be 100% gd too. even ourselves.
 
Tay, me too. I also dun socld cos our kids are at their mercy, so i mean i dun scold but will ge ge ask. Corner her until dunno how to reply back.
