When Bel sleeps, open up the diaper and lay some cloth or waterproof sheet under/ard. At least while she is sleeping, there is lil movement. *Dun aim the FAN directly at her pi gu!*

hmm, i have a colleague (not close) who is Myanmar.. i m thinking, if I really ever hire a myanmar maid, should i just thick-skin go and ask her for help? maybe I go learn myanmar language!!
then my hubby also has 2 myanmar staff.. maybe should also thick-skin ask them for help in language.. i think i going mad liao.

U are right on the attitude. Same for me. She can be slow or careless but if she is willing to learn and improve, I give her chance. But unfortunately, this is very hard to determine until 1-2 weeks or even months into the job.
Even the agent cant guarantee this aspect, therefore they usually have a policy where u can change maid FOC as long as u fulfil a min employment of the maid (some 1 week, some 1 month).
There is no telling which nationality will provide a better maid. We are all humans, so we are all the same. There are as many good maids as there are bad.
I suggest that u look for a experienced ex sing maid who request for no off day (add S$20 per month).

i used to work in one of the jap firm...to me hor, quite strict..and i dun like the working environment. when i went for interview, the office was blocked so i can't see...if i know it's like that, then mayb i wont take up the job...coz it's classroom sitting arrangement. junior staff infront...boss all sitting right behind us...there's no partition between desks...no unnecessary stuff on our table...max 2cups on the desk...can't put personal pics as screen saver...there's alarm to indicate start work, go for lunch, end of lunch and go home!
really buay tahan...then strictly no internet usage! so even if i eng eng, i can oni either stare into space or pretend i bz...no one will go to other collig's desk to chat...i dun even dare to talk too loud coz the office quite quiet..

shannie, i loved durians when i was preg with anthea and now anthea loves it too! maybe there's really a connection now i love durians too!
autum, i am also starting on my maid research.. try to find out more before we decide to hv one.

i drove more than 100km today, i think. and going to have another trip back home later.

2. huingee, i will msn u or call u about the FC. they are in my car now.
3. yvonne already got her stuff cause she accompanied me for lunch. opps, din know bel had cough and need more rest. I asked them out for lunch leh. bel looks ok, except got phlegm when she coughs.
4. my sim card died, 2 handphones died, and now i am using hb's phone and hb's simcard. so i lost all my contacts again. nevermind, let me get a phone this weekend, and get a new simcard this weekend, then u all slowly sms me ? ok ? arigato!! wanna start to build up my EMPIRE again.
5. autum, i tried to login and book zoo ticket (thanks for your reminder cause my hp died liao and dun even have reminder), but system not yet open for me. i dunno when they changed their policy? and i will keep a look out and try my best to book.

Wah, at least tiff will show guilty face. YT is impervious by beatings... we piak her hands for throwing things off the high chair but her expression din even change. Just kept throwing... :\. YT also a good climber so long ago we forgo using the baby cot. Now she sleeps on a mattress on the floor caged in by the haenim play-yard. Both hb and myself have fall out of the cot before when young so dun want to risk it happening to YT and she had already rolled off our bed 3 times!!!

NO thanks lor. (attitude problem ;P)
Then this morning the previous buyer call me and ask me will “you take back your resignation letter and stay” hahaha really dun know what they trying to do.

the one i worked was super open! when i walked in on the first day, i got shocked! not that i trying to be funny but i dun feel comfy esp knowingly that my boss is sitting directly behind me! the partitions they have was those very very low (i think around shoulder level when seated down) partition between dept...even then, u can still peep over to see what they do...another was the super tall ones that blocked the office from public view loh...that was the one that blocked me when i went for interview...
to me, office environment oso plays a role to work comfortably. paisey, not trying to be picky..but we are spending 8hours or more at work mah

Now the story begins.
- few weeks back, mil said wanna bring tian to NUS for sil's commencement (to take photos) on 9 July. I agreed, then told her she has to prepare porridge, so that can feed her outside, no need to rush back. mil agreed. I agreed to bring tian to office for 2 hours as she cannot enter the hall for ceremony.
- two days ago, they came, then still hesitating if they want to bring her to NUS. Then, i said ok, old rules still apply.
- this morning, it was raining, mil said dun want to bring her to NUS anymore. ok! then we brought her to nanny's place in the morning. and i came to work as usual and i planned my work for whole day too.
- around 9.30am, sil called me, said my tian already with them. alamak, i was busy leh. how? then i said i can only fetch tian and another sil (not attending ceremony) around 10.15am. they never bring lunch and pram.. so they asked me to drive tian back after 10am just now. So I was not prepared at all until 9.30am.
- then i drove them to bbmouse's place and collcet stuff, and drove back to office a while cause i need to clear so stuff at work. just 10-15 min like that.
- on the way back, i dropped sil at the commencement hall and i drove tian back to nanny's place at woodlands. she was sleepy and a bit hungry, so she kept crying. cried until her face turned black, then i had to stop along BKE. let her settle down, start again, and have to stop again. finally i buey tahan and continue driving, all the way. and i think she hated me so much for abandoning her at the back. jialat. but i was under so much stress.
and i gave her a $50 to play cause that's what i had in my pocket. and now i dunno where this note went liao. I did not even bring my house key and my bag.
She kept crying even after seeing nanny, and now i dunno how she is already.. cause i lost nanny's contact and i told nanny if anything then call hb's number. she said ok.
That’s the whole story.
Moral of the story:
- I should have sent tian back early
- Or I should have disagreed them from bringing tian out initially then they won’t be so bold to bring her out without my consent even if it’s a last minute consent.
- I should have just taken a cab. Sigh!!
- This incident will not happen again. Nanny also commented that if tian was not brought out, she wouldn’t need to cry so hard for so long. Sigh!

mejo.. i wanna change to bed for her too.. but hor.. she cant keep still when zzz one leh.. will turn n turn n turn .. turn til 180 degrees.. fall asleep.. den zzz half way.. turn back again..
i ever see her zzz like me.. hahaha.. sleep 1/2 way.. sit up.. den just lie in front and continue zzz again.. hahahaa.. (means 180 degrees turn)

Read about your work and your boss, my advice is to find alternative liao. Since your boss lost trust in you and dun wait till things get worst.
Like my case, my boss trust me and look up on me very well, she even told/promise me I will get my promotion this year, my last years appraisal was very good. That why I used to say I have a good and understanding boss, but things change this year dun know why, she lost trust on me and only listen to other. I have been trying to prove to her that problem not on me, but after seeing my this year appraisal before my resignation, I gave up liao, knowing that she trusted other more then me, day before my resignation I wrote a very long e-mail to her on all the evident on the wrong accuse against me and I want a answer on why they accept the accuse, then she told me actually she had a private talk with customer and realize actually not my problem I’m just the scapegoat but too late right? She should do it before my appraisal or even when I told to her that I’m facing problem with customer and my sales earlier this years.
Ops sorry it look like I’m venting again ;P but just want to tell you if things can’t get solve then you have to move on lor

he actually give me a chance to explain and make my stand. i told him what I know and I have been really careful. Ask him to trust me. he said yes and he only wanted me to make my stand clear in case i did not check properly, ok... it was a go already. settled. small case oni. compared to today's chaos. i hope that TP stopped me actually so that i can have a freeride to woodlands, while parking my car at BKE. saman me nevermind. i dun even have a chance to book taxi during that time. expressway leh.

i ever bring tiff out once.. just short distance to fetch her dad.. like from bedok to changi.. even before i can turn up to main road.. she keep crying.. i had to stop and comfort her.. for 1 hour leh.. might as well ask hubby to come back himself better..
when i reach hubby's office.. she cry til tired or no breath and face all blue black.. that time she only 2 months + leh.. since den i never allow her to cry like that.. my heart so pain manz..

Ur japanese co sounds so strict. The one i worked was also open concept, no partitions at all, juz rows of tables. But my bosses are fun ppl. AT 4pm, my director will walk ard with his tea cup filled with sake... LOL...
The layout of the new office of my current ang moh co is also open concept. But the bosses are in rooms. And there are totally no corner or wall seats. All the workstations are island design.....
aiyah, most of these MNC now have card key system. Capture every minute and seconds. Local company best. I can turn up for work at 9am although official is 8.30am and my boss will still buy b/fast for me to eat. LOL....
