Ryan can say quite afew words already actually. First time I'm counting it. Let me see - mama(mummy), dada(daddy), mama(grandma), yeye(grandpa), ah ma, ah gong, star, car, bus, flower, ball, mum mum(food), nen nen(milk), water, yes, no, per(for diaper), fork (but it sounds like F***), clock... think should be all...

winnie, i had a busy day today. Maid said goodbye at 10.30am to go shopping with mil's maid, so hb had to send her to mil's hse first. Then I was alone coping with baby till about nealrly 2pm when hb finally showed up again. We left home at about 3pm for sentosa. I have just taken my bath,so now checking forum

It was quite fun bringing A out without the maid. He was really excited when he saw all the big fishes compared to our tiny ones at home. He is such a greedy boy, we were waiting for the dolphin show to start and there was a family sitting behind us eating popcorns and he started to say 'mam mam mam' and smiled non-stop to the lady behind me. They wanted to feed him the popcorns but I had to reject them nicely. Then at the underwater world, when we were at the oceanarium looking at sharks, he reminded me again that its time for 'mam mam'. Anyway, now i know why milkie always bring YR out. I think that's the best way when u are alone with kid. When u bring them out, at least there will be things to occupy them, I can imagine if i am at home with A, I will prob have to play ball and pick balls for him till i die of exhaustion

sorry to vent early in the morning..yesterday had a minor tiff with hb regarding cherish behaviour.

cherish was cranky these two days and keep wanting us to bring her go out. she only want me to carry her. when we went to makan, cherish refused to sit on the food court chair and hb kept insisting. initially cherish was ok but with repeated attempt to put her down, she became more cranky. i was ok with her sitting on my lap while i eat, so long as she dont cry, but hb insisted on letting her sit on the chair( normal chair, not high chair). And i also tell hb it is dangerous to put her on the adult bench. hb says i am spoiling her.

next, i went to subway to tabao, then hb wanted to carry her out, but cherish refuse. but he insisted ,and cherish was crying while stretching her arms out to reach for me. of cos i take her over to calm her down.

then when we are abt to reach home, hb says to cherish in chinese:"wat else do u know besides crying? " i feel that this is an unfair statement lor.

then late afternoon cherish refuse to take her milk. i went to bathe and hear super loud cries. turn out cherish wanted to crawl out and look for me but hb refuse to let her out. i felt so heartpain for her. i managed to calm her down after a while. And i got a black face hb. when i asked him why, he says he is tired. then cherish crawled towards him and wanted to play ball, he simply throw the ball towards her and continued to watch tv. I told my hb even though we are tired, we should not ignore bb. At that time both of us are not feeling good already.

After we send cherish to my mum place, hb says need to get a cane to discipline cherish. I told him cherish dont even have trust with him, like that how to instill discipline??? then he say one party must be the bad guy..aiyoh.. i mean discipline got many ways right

At time when YX was very cranky and hubby was angry at her, I told my hubby shd not just love her cuteness when she is in good mood, but shd also accept that she can be cranky and instead of scolding her shd try to find out why! She is still a baby and poor thing that we cldn't understand her and what makes her cry! Nowadays he is more tolerance to her cry and will spend as much time as he can wif her whenever he is at home.

AIYOHHHHH!!! OUCH! Tyler's wounds look very bad. I think if Ben kena like that, I would be scolded and grumbled at left right and centre by my hb & all the grandparents. You naughty mummy, didn't belt him in. Your MIL is opposie of mine. My MIL doesn't care about Sarah at all. Often she doesn't even look at her when we go over, or talk to her. To her, Ben is the whole world. Sarah was immediately neglected once Ben was born!

Your ryan is really advanced, can say so many words. Ben doesn't even call mama. But he can say 'bbbbb' for ball and other 'b' words, and 'car' sometimes. He can do the 'quiet' sign - finger on lips and say 'shhhh'. He also says 'shhh' for fish. He surprised me on Saturday by being able to fit some shape blocks into the correct holes in his toy. He babbles quite a bit too, and lately more, esp since we turned his car seat around to face front for the first time on Saturday. He enjoys the new view and orientation and I have a mirror where I can see the kids at the back, so he can probably see me too.

Sounds like your Cherish and my Ben have the same sort of problem. Extra sticky and complaining these few days. Dunno why, Ben is usually very happy to just walk around and play by himself, but since last week, he's become very fussy. When we enter a new place, he will refuse to let me put him down (last time, he was ever eager to go). Now, we have to wait 10 mins or so, and show him some toys, then he will willingly go down. But I don't punish him for complaining in this way. I think it's a developmental thing, and it should pass soon. Not a discipline issue lah. Discipline is when we tell him 'no' and he still persists. I have used a cane on him a couple of times already, so he knows what it is and is quite scared of it.

smurfy, that looks like a nice toy. A loves to play with balls too, but 200 balls, I am afraid if he throws all the balls out, maid and I will die trying to pick them up. as at now, my previous bruise still there cos it was such a big bruise.

muhaahahha...i used to haf the ball house too!..had a photo of tyra..taken in dat angle as well....but very difficult to maintain the cleanliness of the ball house,...we left it in the living room for like 1yr plus...n cleared away after tyler arrive...

but its lurvely for the kids to own them..every time they bored..juz throw them inside.heheh

keke...yah actually which mother dun worry abt their kids...not dat i not kancheong..but through tyra...i realise alot of condition dun warrant "urgent, immediate, emergency" attention as most of us tot....so slowly, alot of time...cough, phlegm...fever...rash...unless its conditions dat i nvr see b4...or encounter..i will bring go doc...otherwise..juz let them recover on their own..wif "OTC medication" keke..

but i haf a compartment full of medicine...for them..
