wow piang, high chair u eying for so ex. bb only sit for a while leh, not so 'worth' spending so much on it.

even I bought 3 second hand high chair ($28,$20 and $8) from ebay and yahoo, they are as good as new except for 1 of them only(cost only $8 mah cos side of chair peel off so we went to daiso and buy the toilet seat cover to cover it).

which type of blank flash card better? both side glossy or one side (1800 pieces for $43)? where do you order from? thinking of getting them from Hiap Moh . but got to order above $200 then got free delivery. any one want to share??

haha... cos this chair can tahan up to 30kg... 5 pt harness can strap up my hyper active son... can re-arrange to become table n chair for older child... liddat can temp save on study table liao... hee...

mil patang dun wanna buy sec hand... cos she say we dunno who e child previously use the chair mah... if e child naughty, then i buy liao my son use will become naughtier... dats wat my mil say lah... dun wanna risk it... so think buy 1st hand better...

Sorry Regina couldn't attend the kindermusik yesterday. She's been having a flu and last 2 nights started getting fever... sigh. Glad all the mummies and babies had fun.

To me these sessions are mainly for the babies to interact so kindermusik is perfect for that cos the babies crawl ard n play together. I dun want too much activities to keep him concentrating on his own environment nia. I prefer to do the teaching at home myself. But wld be good to find a class that would give us mummies more ideas on what activities we can do with baby at home. Cos my boy is very easily bored...every 5 minutes must find new game

The only game now that keeps his interest (and is good for teaching him things) is hide n seek. BTW, always wondered doesn't the BJG flashcard sessions clash with your own sessions?

Re Kindermusik...ya lor...hannah will be bored oso. mmm...at the trial, i think not much for bb to interact oso lei...maybe cos it's trial so not so erm..."interactive"? i oso expected it to be a bit more fun...:p hannah kept squirming and want to do other things.
BJG flashcards dun interfere with our own flashcards cos they hv different things mah. I only dun let her see the math dots, which is over in like 1min anyway. Plus, I'm not very "particular" abt the flashcards thing la...cos, in the first place, I'm doing flashcards just to have some fun with hannah, hopefully encourage her to enjoy new things etc. I do it with her consistently but i dun think once a week see other cards will do any serious interference lor. In fact, she quite enjoy ma...to me, the key is, she enjoys, i'm happy. That's why for kindermusik i won't sign up cos, i think she dun fully enjoy all 45mins of it...she got bored after a while lor. Maybe when she's a bit older she can appreciate more. Same for JG. Hannah likes it, but no weekend classes and me not SAHM. :p But I think hannah will definitely enjoy and appreciate it better when she's older.

Apparently they said it was given thru MIO to those who signed up for MIO plan.

have u even heard of growing up gifted program (http://www.gugifted.com) @ UNited Square? Any feedback to share? I'm looking classes for Hayley at United Square which is nearer to our home.

I just called and ask for the trial class avail.
Will be attending the trial session by attending the current class @ 14th Oct morn. It would be more fun if other dec mommies joining in the class with our babies belong to the same age. But I not good at organising this. Maybe someone can help on this.

Think JG classes r designed to address all aspects of a child's development for e.g hand eye coordination, confidence, language...the whole she-bang. They do music appreciation, art & craft, puppets etc.

Here's info on the Julia Gabriel group trial. Unfortunately it has to be on a weekday. They are willing to do a trial class for a min of 4 bb's (max is 16 bb's) on a Wed at 1pm. The session lasts 90mins. If there is enough interest I can ask if they can do a class as early as next Wed. Price for trial is $36.38.

i tink it's q similar 2 JG lah. there's phonics, music n movt, storytime, snacktime, freeplay, puppet, project (science/art n craft etc) n mandarin classes 4 e older grp. i dunno if they've changed e curriculum tho. n i dunno e quality o lessons there now cos i dunno any o e tchrs there. my batch all gone le. a lot o JG n GUG tchrs jump ard e 2 schs.

The kindermusik class quite fun for my boy leh cos he always crawl to other bbs to kpo kpo (even dare climb on other mummy's lap) n start mini global conference (as the teacher calls it) in the middle of the circle

Other bb's also sometimes crawl over to share the instruments so it's kinda like free play for the babies. Anyway 1 session a week what can u teach them, so it's really abt them "socialising", building self confidence n us mommies getting some ideas on what activities to do with the bb's at home.

Sorry, for the Gymboree trial class, think I will give it a miss. My friend is holding her gal's bday party there, so can go there n try it put FOC liao :p Anyway, hb also ask me not to waste money, cos that Reyna of mine will just crawl around the places and not enjoying the activities. :p

That Kindermusik make Reyna show all her bad points, so now, if want to go for trial, got problem liao. :p
