Anyone know whether KKH have LC to consult or to help me clear ducts anot ar?

I heard there's a good LC at KKH. Her name is Yen Ping or something...u may call up KKH parent craft to check.
the panty u replied to wrong person liao...I'm the one asking. L size can liao meh? maybe I buy 1 pcs 1st. then go to their fitting room & wear it up on top of my own panty, hee hee...if can fit, then I buy a few more.

we bought a vaccum cleaner, a dvd player, a kettle and other stuff, also we saw this DIY shelve at toyogo that we think we want to put in the store room, or else think my hubby would want to lug it all back in one go as well!

Its really really really painful, i'm tearing when the LC clear the ducts for me. She told me, aiyo your gal so notti, bite mummy. Somemore went there 2-3 times to be 'tortured' and pay money. But after that feel so relieved.

No lah, not so horrible as u tot lah, they just help u to massage ur breast, as when ur breast is engorge or have blocked ducts, they are actually very painful to touch, so imagine u are massaging it....

For TMC, they uses Madale Pump but those really power one lah. And there is a tube which the LC will use it to suck it to clear the ducts at the nipple, coz nipple has small little ducts that allow milk to flow. And at the same time they will massage your breast. The pain is massage and using the tube to suck, esp when your breast is engorge, aiyo they still massage...super super painful. After when the blocked ducts are cleared, than they will help you to express out the milk and store it for you to bring home for your baby.

ya lor. sometimes really wanna go down to e clinic. somemore mine is w/in walking distance fr my place. but my gynae is super buzy kind. will skip lunch to attend to patients n always reach e clinic earlier than e missy. clinic starts at 10am, 9+ he's already attending to patients liao. i feel v bad bothering him...
yet, can't help worrying. sometimes i'll call lor, n if he doesn't sound worried, i'll be instantly relieved!

i bellieve this is ur 3rd pregnancy, i sure u are more experience one bah. i oni scare that if bb dun latch well & cry cry cry. i might get post natal depression & end up let bb drink FM..

Before breastfeeding, its encouraged to use warm towel to massage the breasts. Mine is because my gal bite me lah...painful leh.

Actually am not sure about should we stop wearing underwired bra now. Me still wearing too. As per advise from Vanessa, think towards end 7th month we can start buying / wearing nursing bras.

u can avoid blocked ducts, but massaging it everytime before u latch ur bb on. Avoid underwire bra especially on times where u will get engorgement. Make sure ur baby emptied ur breast thoroughly will also helps.

haha, though this is my 3rd pregnancy, but when it comes to breastfeeding, this is only my 2nd. To avoid ur situation, I always encourage MTB to attend talks from BMSG, cos it really helps.
Btw, ladies, we, as counsellor of BMSG will organise gatherings for MTB / currently breastfeeding mother to gather around to seek for more information and some chitchatting session every month. Those who might be interested to join us may let me know, I'll provide the details. This month, the gathering is either this Sat or next at Macpherson CC, if they are having it next Sat, I'll be there to meet them up, so anyone intereted just let me know.

Yap like Vanessa said, massage in circular motion. Frankly sometimes i don't even have time to massage, coz my gal hungry hah, cry until like what...i quickly latch her on liao, dont even have time to massage...hhhaa..

Last time when i heard the LC said that, i was a bit skeptical..but when tried it, very true leh, coz the sucking and pumping causes my nipple to be sore, so i use the breast milk and applied on it, it heals really fast man.

btw, i bought this Gerber Breast Therapy Warm/cool Relief Packs during taka bb fair leh.. hopefully it will work well..
the promoter ask me to apply the warm pack b4 bf... can help stimulate flow..
