Hi Jackie or anyone, feel free to use the Spring card.. Or like what Shihui had said, we can go to Spring together..

The card only says 10% off any regular priced item.
But that time, during the GSS, Spring card members got 5% on top of the discounted items too..
I too need to spend bout $300, but after my 1st visit, I found out from u all that can accumulate receipts to get member.. I go and email them and tell them the salesgirl never tell me, and I threw away my $136++ recepit liao, I asked if I can use my credit statement or not lor.. by the time I got a reply from Spring, I've spent bout $250+ liao.. The lady told me she will get her staff to give me the card lor.. (coz it's their fault for not telling me bout the card in my 1st purchase..)

Marche + can meet at Suntec? (alamak, is the IMF over by 22nd yet?) + can go Spring Maternity together (and other shops) + No messy bills (u pay what u eat)+ accessible

Merchant court + town area also + No messy bills + many food (though I haven been there b4..)

yah, that was probably me! My hb always wear sunglasses and sometimes he wear fisherman hat, machiam look like Japanese tourist lidat!

It was such a hot day that day! I was really feeling hot and bad tempered by then I think! Haha! Lucky that was before I went to lunch, during lunch, my white shirt got stained with SATAY GRAVY! haha! Kena nagged at by my husband. =P

Hadda take blood two times, cos first time is when u first go there (after fasting), they take urine and blood sample. Then give glucose drink, 2hrs later, take blood and urine sample again. I dunno why my gynae ask me to do, but from reading, in some countries this is a standard test. But I guess in Singapore, not all gynae do it for patient. I'm not delivering at MtE...my gynae have clinic there lor...open in morning and have 3D scan machine. I usually see him at his other clinic at Bukit Panjang, open in evening one. I will deliver at Mt Alvernia instead as he can deliver bb there too. I hear MtA pple nicer la. And come to think of it, going for 1 bedder I think can sleep better, less noisy. After visiting my godson at KKH, i realised how noisy it can be. But for him, no choice, cos diabetes is lifetime. If he stay A class, medical bill not subsidised forever!

. so cute lah! my hubby and I were matching up and down trying to decide if we want the three tier or the four tier one and i notice you were matching up and down with your hubby too! there was this guy there looking at the same things and he started talking to us telling us that his kid was just born 2 days ago and everything at home is so messy he has had to buy one of the drawers home to organise things.

OH! you bought the bb monitor. In the end, we decided not to buy cos we are not sure if the reception would be good. Now kinda regret as the price was quite good! Ended up buying DVD player and all sorts of other frivolous things!

morning ladies,

haven't chatted here 4 a while cos went malacca.. then came bk liao was in great pain 4 2 days cos my fibroid degenerate. think gan will noe wat i'm talking bt.

after tt, i got v paranoid n kept thinking bb's in trouble cos i can't feel bb moving as much (non-stop walking malacca must haf messed up bb's sleep wake cycle i guess). told my hubby i'm worried n he said these kinda things no need to worry one, if it's meant to be, it's meant to be, we oso can't control. his statement made me cry like mad!he was trying to console me n tell me evrything's ok but nong1 qiao2 fan3 zhuo2 lor...

e following day i's watching tv after dinner then suddenly realise like bb hasn't moved 4 a while. so i kept tapping my tummy lightly n change positions. 4 like 20 min, bb still dun move! so i cried n cried again.... until bb finally moved a bit. hubby tot i'm crazy... but dunno y past few days bb move a lot again... so relieved...

i oso haf v slightly greenish sticky discharge 4 2 days then no more. n 4 2-3 days, i'd quite a lot o contractions... doc gave me this medicine to relax my womb so it doesn't contract so much. e scan oso showed my bb is high up so no danger o pre-term labour....

any o u as paranoid as me? dunno y..

anyway, last week, bb was 600g at 22wks, but i lost 1 kg, only 48.6kg. told my hubby my net gain in weight is only 1 kg, 600g taken up by bb... tt means my personal gain is less than 400g lor... so strange... since doc nt worried i oso nt worried lor..

Ya lor.. some more my 9kg is based on my average weight before I got thin during my wedding period.. If using the actual pre-prenanacy weight or weight when I concieve, aiyo.. the weight gain will be 12kg liao!

yah man. damn scary. dunno leh, i just got a hunch tt it's contracting. yah, it's like hardening n tightening lor. anyway, we're might haf braxton hicks (irregular contractions) ard this time.

later then i found out tt uterus might be likely to contract more when we're lying flat, when after exercise (must b e walking in malacca lah!), when we look at infants (went malacca w lotsa little kids), when we're dehydrated (weather so hot!) etc etc... managed to find reasons 4 my contracts, dunno true or not lah but at least calmed me down...

dun worry too much lah.. i think a few MTBs here oso experienced a period of time where the bb moves very little onli.. currently, my bb oso not moving much.. onli oncassional throb throb.. but my bb is the very lazy type.. always dun move one.. so i can't really guage whether he's okie anot lor..

i oso putting on weight slowly.. if calculate overall weight gain fr pre-preg till now, i onli gain 2 kg.. but if consider the fact tt i lost 4kg during preg, i gained 6kg lah..

mine oso considered small ball onli.. alot relatives were commenting tt i dun look 6mths preg.. said tt i noe how to hide tummy well.. maybe u oso belong to those who can hide tummy well..

thx 4 e advice. i eat 2 bowls o cereals per day, outside o e normal 3 meals. oso read somewhere tt bf mums must really eat a lot while bf-ing. n there was a sample diet.. gosh! really a lot leh! almost double tt o non-bf-ing mums! will we really b so hungry when we bf?

Yah, must draw blood one. It involves blood test too. I also cannot remember how much the test is liao cos I oso paid for the balance of my package and medicine, so all mixed up. I think it shd be around $100+?

So which one did u buy in the end? My MIL hor, go and stand next to the 4 drawer one and said it's her height! haha! I oso noticed a number of preggie pple there. =P I bot 3 drawer lor, cos I think 4 drawer too tall, finally my hb oso agree 4 drawer too tall. We oso experience funny encounter cos when we parked, there was a guy who came and ask us wat colour was our car! He said he's colour blind but buying the same car. My hb said to me, if he colour blind, why he worry abt wat colour his car is? Hahaha! We just managed to squeeze in the 3 drawer, all our shopping, plus my MIL in the backseat + trunk. =P

Yah, we bot bb monitor, cos my hb say, sale mah, buy lor. We bot the $79 one, discount from $129. So, hb say worth it lor. It was so hot, we bot that and left! Didn't browse.

yah...apprently if stay A class, next time need to downgrade, very difficult one...have to go thru means test, interview, submit all kinds of paperwork. So, doc advise them not to stay A class since diabetes is lifetime. Haha! You are like me! I notice nowadays always got food stains. Tummy in the way...must try to sit nearer the table. =P

Calynn, me also wearing my normal wired bra now. If don't wear wired bra like abit funny leh. Anyone knows when will we start 'growing' milk ducts (and therefore time to switch to non-wire bras)?

Qianhui, yes, you buttock itchy!!! ahahhaa... I think the blood test is < $100 cos that day I went for GTT plus get some vitamins end up the bill only $68 (consultant already in package so I do not need to pay for that). Unless they forget to charge me for GTT

Think we can make funny requests like don't want bed near to door, not near to nursery etc when we check in?

Vanessa, what will the blocked ducts at the bra area 'do' har? Means we will get pain? Or less milk cos some ducts are not working? I got a big mouth colleauge also like ur SIL.. she keep telling me to hire maid cos I will not be able to handle my bb (just because she cannot handle hers).

QSG, if you want to go for the TMC hospital tour they have 2 slots - 11am and 2pm. Try to go for the 2pm one cos that day when I go for the 11am tour, all the wards and delivery rooms are occupied and we can only peek into the wards from outside. The guide said 2pm is discharging time so there will be more rooms available for viewing.

Yukiee, 10 more weeks!!! Wow!!!! I still got 15 more weeks...arggghhhh....

Shihui, I think a few of us gain weight slowly lah. Anyway , both my sis and friend said there will be sudden weight gain as the bb go for the last spurt of growth at the end of the 3rd trimester so we still got time to gain weight. Thank goodness I did not gain alot of weight else I think I will be very tired especially when I take public transport to work etc.

Ya, when we bf, we eat like nobody business, but as long as we eat healthily, there should not be any worries, cos ultimately u r still providing for 2.

When u have blocked ducts, milk cannot flow through, hence milk cannot be empty thoroughly from ur breast, which in turn reduce ur milk supply as brain will take it as demand is low, hence low supply. Then if blocked ducts are not cleared, u will have lumps and feel pain and by then it's called engorgement, then if still not properly clear, u will get fever and infection and still not taken care properly, it will becomes breast abscess. then there's when the BIG Problem occurs.... got to STOP BREASTFEEDING IF THAT HAPPEN, cos will need medication or surgery depends on the situation... Hope I'm not scaring u gals

me ald on FBI liao..last sat my antenatal class Mrs Wong supposed bring us to hospital tour one leh..but 2 bedded n VIP taken so really hope tis sat can see! hehe my birthday hope have more birthday luck!! I shd be taking 2bedded though hubby tat time mentioned wish can take single bed lor..but wat if C section or Choy choy choy any complication n stay longer in TMC??! then hospital bills will be AMAZING!!

now the visits gonna be 3 weeks and the gynae said that after week 30 the visits will be every 2 weeks... so u can check yr bb's weight regularly then!!

my bb used to be quite active also... but didn't move much for the last 2 days... just feel very slight movements only... not even sure if it's just my imagination.... i went into a state of panic and nearly went to the gynae... aiyo... but last night she started kicking after i played some music... so at least feel better now...

problem is dunno when is the right time to panic sometimes?

haha! my hb very hero, refuse to make 2 trips. After all the shopping we did, he drove up to our block, unload everything, made me stand there to jagar, then he go park the car. Then comeback, he carry everything put in the lift, then from lift transfer to our hse. I act as jagar la. Lucky flat on lift landing man! But we know cannot put in ironing board and other shopping so we unload and go out again! =P
ok, if test monitor will let u know the outcome!

we have a Rav4 so we just lower backseat and put stuff in trunk and backseat including all the other tons of shopping we did beforehand. If we buy the 4 drawer, i think must lower back and front seat! Then, no space for both me and MIL, only one more person can sit! This trip bo bian, cos MIL wanted to go and buy things for bb mah... if only 2 persons - you and hb, then no problem. 3 person then a bit tight. My hb say shd have strapped the drawers on top of the car instead. =P

talk about blocked ducts. while breastfeeding my gal when she was about 4-5 months old, she bite me man, till the ducts got closed up, milk can't flow through, the engorgement was so bad. Initially i still don't know that was the caused of it, till i called up TMC LC then realised its because of my gal. Went down 2 or 3 times just to let her clear the blockage...aiyo....
