for me, definitely a B1/2 ward - 4 bedded if fully occupied then got free upgrade to 2 bedded.... think better that way, save money also, else if hubby stay so poor thing, no proper bed, just a crouch... think it's better he go home n sleep...

if u take those more pple in the ward, i think u can draw curtain when u are bf-ing lo. is scare when bf halfway frds come visit u ar. ahhaa esp with hubby one ar. if just gf still ok althou abit paiseh..
For me, i oni can take B1 cos hb say he cant afford A ward for me. ahaha B1 good enuf lar. aircon & tv & telephone for me to see & hug phone to chat. ahaha

My hb comment that my aerola is very dark col leh. ahahha is lidat one rite?

I also love my hubby staying with me, but i rather he have a proper sleep at home. My 1st pregnancy, he went home about 8+9pm, but come early early 8am

i so touch. I thot he will sleep a bit later than come...hhee.

Me too.... He went home 9pm+10pm, but came to visit me very early in the morning, cos he scare I'm alone in the ward cannot handle and stay with me till late nite again..... even if he sit down there he also stay with me...

if u BF & other pple pull open the curtain, then scold that person left, right, centre lor.... they shouldn't do it....not even nurse ok. they must have the courtesy to ask if they can come in or not.

oo..but hor, sometimes we might want to pull the curtains due to privacy..eg, we wanna oi oi then ur neighbour got pple come visit her so usually we will pull the curtain to oi oi kua. tik hor the nurse usually will just pull the curtain if they wanna c us kua. then if frens or family, tik paiseh to scold too~ ^^

if that's your main worry, then better discuss with your hubby whether to stay in single ward or not. my 1st deliver, only 1 person opened my curtain suddenly. that person is MY MIL!!!!!!! really kanasai & I hated her. she opened the curtain & saw me trying to BF, then commented to my hubby that 'is it the correct way to BF?' already relationship not so good with her, after her impoliteness, really made it worse. I told her off to wait outside.

i hope this time round, MIL won't visit me at all...see her face, I very sian.

Does anyone have any pulling feeling at the cervix area??? Is this sympton of the uterus expanding??? I have such feeling for the pass 2 days, dont know due to stress or what. Abit worry

got one nite hor, i got cramps around cervix area n all around my tummy...pain until i can't sleep, nearly wanna go hospital then i breathe in n out deeply, then feel better...so far (touch wood), dun hv such terrible pain but hor i does feel cramps around my cervix area at times..tik normal cos expanding?

last wk i went to Bugis seiyu to buy tube bra lor from this brand Impression. oni $13.90 for the better quality one. if want lace one is $9.90. very cheap hor. even the nursing bra is also $9.90 leh. quite comfy but i din buy cos i took 36B then no cushion wear liao not secure lidat got air air then no shape somemore wear liao sharp sharp one. ahahaa but then will go buy later stage lar. cos sooo cheap nursing bra..

ya i agree with u. got any grievances must say out to hb one. cannot hide inside one. wait one day burst out lagi chiam. I think most MIL are old-fashion & old thinking & feel that we DIL snatch away their son one lar. Duno in future we will lidat anot hor. this type of MIL i named her as barbarian one. One day son also hv to marry set up family one mah. i always tell myself if i have son in future i must be able to "see-open" one. unless DIL bully my son lar.. cannot lar.ahahaa

Shihui, not sure about the other hospital, but TMC got curtains like the usual warb so if you are paiseh can draw the curtains, or start practising the now-you-see-it-now-you-don't skill of bf-ing in public

One thing about TMC I don't like is no garden leh.. no place for me to walk about with view during my 2 days stay there (if I can walk lah..ahahaha..was imagining me walking in a garden with bb like what my friend did when she give birth in Europe hehehehe)

doremi, maybe ask if the nurse had a Do Not Disturb, BF in progress sign? Maybe we should start to design our own such sign

I was telling my hubby, next time let our children stay on their own because now we understand we want 'er3 ren2 si4 jie4', so we should think for them too. If we miss them, get them back for dinner or we visit them loh. That way we can have time for ourselves, we go shopping lah, holiday lah, mission trips lah also can

no nid to envy me lah..tink i'm simply fat lah n dat's the main reason y my bustline increase so fast. i very scare hor, it sags very fast too~ haiz...anyway, tink i will go bugis seiyu to c the nursing bra u mentioned when i reached 28wks or more cos tink cheap leh...dat time i went to a triump shop hor, the lady there said their nursing bra cost abt twenty plus (forget the amount) n hor, it dun look very supporting lah... erm...heard dat we nid to get good nursing bra so dat our breasts dun sag??

thanks thanks for comforting me....my r/s with MIL really no good. she's so rude 1 lor...think my MIL can make frens with Jen's MIL. my MIL also that time that talk w/o going thro her brain leh... during my 1st confinement at my parent's place, she visited daily! everytime only want to see the newborn but never asked me how I feeling etc....

I still remember during 1st wk, I was always lying on the bed resting. My mum said confinement must rest more...even not sleeping must still go & lie on bed. So whenever MIL visited, MIL will enter my bedroom & told me to get up & do something. She said why I so lazy, everytime she came, she saw me lying down. Even my parent's heard liao also not happy.

My MIL never greet my parents. My parents greeted MIL but she always pretend never hear. I also greet her but she never reponsed. Like very Ya ya - papaya type! I tell myself to greet only once very loudy...then she no response I will walk away liao. MIL call my dad 'uncle'! Weird right?

That time MIL every visit say some remarks on my newborn. My mum pantang type but MIL purposely say my newborn very guai, sleep throughout etc. Then that nite onwards, cry & didn't sleep. My parents very angry too. Next day my mum told MIL that after she said that remarks, bb didn't sleep. Then my MIL said oh in that case, the newborn will cry for 3 yrs & then can sleep through at nite. If u were me, u hear liao angry or not?

So this time my mum keep reminding me to tell my hubby to zip his mum's mouth.

the nursing bra u saw is it w/o padding? i'm looking for a padded nursing bra. TMC shop selling some MomsInMind nursing bra. but abt $33-35 per pcs. tube bra I bought too but during sweaty & hot days, the tube bra seems very uncomfortable, hot & tight.

i also having the feeling of pressure or something pressing down the cervix or vagina area leh...these few days then experience it. i think maybe is the baby & placenta weight pressing down.

wow..ur MIL really geng..i'm wordless too when i read ur story. tik mayb ur MIL very old liao, hence tend to ignore other pple's feelings?? if my mum were ur mum, tink my mum sure explode. i think my mum won't tolerate pple bully her own daughters..my mum hor can b very fierce de..if my mum called my MIL loudly n she pretend din hear, tink my mum will "mei wang mei liao"..my mum sure keep chase my MIL around n ensure dat she heard wat my mum said..hehe...if really angry hor, my mum might even chase her out of her house..hehe...
