no lah, not suffer fr Preeclampsia. it only during the labour stage, my bp sudden shot up so high that I needed to keep for observation in the delivery suit for 4hrs+ (waste $$ not cheap charge by per hr).

dun care what yr that yaya colleague said, the most impt thing is our toddlers are healthy and developed naturally. tx only know where is her ear only. anyway, just a casual teaching of these stuff if we have time.

u got the playyard to surround kate man...so put mattress in and let kate slp there.

Yup, actually I reduced pumping in Oct, and slowly slowly reduce, to just 1 pump per day, in Dec. Coz I wanted to make sure that I got pump 1 yr lah.

Til now my period also not back yet. So no good news

If he wanna walk to some place and we pull hin to walk to some other place, he will simply sit down.

He dun really call papa or mama either, very rarely, when he look for me, he only 'ma...' walk a few steps.. then comes the 'meee..'

The weird thing is he is always saying 'bao bao' when he wants to be carried. Weird because we never tell him 'bao bao' when we carry him, we will tell him 'Wai po carry' or 'mummy/daddy carry..'

Potassium permanganate is a very strong antiseptic solution. That time JT had her skin peeled off on her leg and nearly had infection, PD prescribed that for her. But must dilute many times and she said to use for only 2 days. so try not to use it on her private area which is so sensitive.
JT has been using drapolene since birth. Even though she has sensitive skin, but luckily she has never had nappy rash. Have to change diapers frequently, even though it doesn't leak, as long as it is damp, must change and clean properly. Since birth, JT has been using Pet pet during the day and Mamy Poko/Pampers/Huggies Ultra (whichever is on offer) at night... she has been ok so far....You may have to consider changing the diaper brand cos now that they are more mobile, there are bound to be more friction.

Yeah, nappy rash for 3 weeks is no joke... cos infection can affect the urinary tract and the private parts. Better to get a good nappy rash cream. by the way, tell your mum cannot put powder at the private area. cos powder contains talc... some studies have shown that talc can increase the incidence of uterine cancer if powder is used for long term at the private area.

I'm still on full BF, but got my menses back during the 4th or 5th mth... haha.. shows how pathetic my supply is.... but now that you have stopped BF, should get your menses back quite soon lah, then you can start working hard lor...

u are right. tx has been using pureen dry fr birth till 6mth. then switch to ntuc brand during daytime and pureen dry night times. all along ok....recently, there are huggies promotions at ten mile sheng siong and giant during dec times so grab a few packets at $13.50 each. now, she is using huggies during the day and night also. since huggies dry comfortable also sells at $13.50 cos i have use it on her during nite time. but at my mum'plc, she is still clearing her stock of pureen and ntuc diaper and will convert her to huggies dry for night and day liao.this is the worst nappy rash she encountered. last time, not so jialat, apply nappy rash cream, the rash disappear 2 days later.

as for powdwer, I have been teling my mum not to put powder on her p area since tx's birth till now. she is so STUBBON that she just won't listen. she even powder all over tx 's ear etc... she said that we last time also like that mah...what to do....vomit blood. nag at her she gave black face and then said " u happy can liao loh" etc. so pissed off everytime.

everytime, when tx is back on fri nite, I will be having hard time clean her pi ku and p area too. powder struck in there. hai.....

hmm...do JT climb up and down, touch this and that in the hse since she already know how to walk so steady liao.

yah... u mummies really brave. till now i shudder thinking of another round of preg days & having bb. not that it was difficult to take care of sophia when she was bb but just the thought of waking up every 2 hours to bf at nite... the hassle of so many barang barang to bring out.. etc etc. plus headache to think who to take care of the newborn etc etc. nowadays when starting to ahem ahem n hubby doesnt wanna protection.. i get v stressed up.

bobianah.. i tot u mentioned your hubby didnt wanna #2. managed to convince him otherwise har? wahh... u still can manage classes for hannah in your preg state ahh... peifu your energy level!!

yup.. i just steam the corn. alamak... i just read internet that shouldnt give corn to bb before 1 years old, and even if give should be creamed corn. my gal now can hold n turn it to eat all the corn(part)?.. previously she will just hold onto one area n eat into the stem(?)..there was once, when she was 8 or 9mos, my dad wanna help her turn the corn.. she got so angry thinkin my dad is taking away her precious corn that she threw her corn onto the floor forcefully in anger n went into a major tantrum. gosh.. was so shocked. dunno where she learned that? is tantrum behaviour inborn?? or issit via observing/learning??

nowadays sophia really observe every single thing her 2 older cousins (2 yrs & 3 yrs) does. and she imitates their behaviour. she learns quickly that way.. but the bad point is that she'll learn their bad behaviour as well.

u already better than me, tx woke up half an hr-1hr every time to bf cos she likes to doze off during the latch on, no matter how one wake her up, she will slp very soundly. i hardly have time to zzz during my confinement mth (a horrible + miserable mth with conflicts). i also have labour phobia too.

tx also slp on mattress at my mum 'plc but b4 her slp time, my mum will plc her in yao lan to rock her to slp before transfering to mattress. my mum slp beside her. tx has the habit of slp out of alignment posture, she can slp with her items flying over and got one time, during the nite, I always woke up to correct her position. she held on to her sock. so funni cos she tot it is her handi.

hmmm, it is kinda "scary" to be having #2 so soon, and MS is terrible! But, for me and my hb, considering how old we are, we thot we shdn't wait too long to start trying. In fact we decided that if by end this year dun have, we not going to try anymore and will stick to ONE. Actually, I'm surprised to hv #2 so soon...cos I hv irregular period.

Maybe u more brave then me, but i dun like to take too many risks. I think i wont be able to sleep!

I have reduced my bf nursing from 4times to just once at night..so far Ivan is taking UHT milk so far so good just tat he is still not taking bottles/sippy/straw..but he made me so happy when he drank 50ml of milk from bottle on 31/12/07!!! i so happy n touched ...but too bad it was a one off case...
now he sleep thru liao...n i tot when i offered him bottle after 12hrs no milk,he just wont suckle the teat..so i have to spoon feed him!!

so now i really dun know wat to do with him....blame on myself lor..he use bottle till 5th mth plus there after i lazy to pump so didnt use bottle at all...

I agree that the older the riskier but I haven't gotten over the nightmare of looking after my boy yet. And I m so tired from looking after him 24/7. Think maybe you all have somewhat easier babies bah. Till now he still disturbs me at least twice every night. I dunno when he will grow out of it

But I am looking to get a maid to help out at home so if things work out well then we will definitely go for no.2 soon too. Dun worry, I am sure you will be blessed with another healthy happy bb. Must let us know whether boy or girl ahh

no leh. i tink working mums shld b equally if not more tired. they work and still take care o e bb when they reach home n then most take care full time on wkends.. n i c so many o u, bring ur bbs out so often, den haf so many activities... aiyo, i hear already oso feel tired... hahahaha... mb bcos we dun own car lah. travelling kills... hehehehe...

it's nt tt dr ang is no gd but i tink he has too many patients. if u haf a somewat 'normal' pregy den he's ok n cheap. i dun fancy asking many qns n hearing too many unnecy details during chk ups act. but 4 my last preg, my case was e rare 5% lor. n he overlooked q a lot o impt things, many which i suspected n was q sure bt but he just brushed them off. i felt if he wasn't so bz he cld haf better handled it. anyway, i've learnt my lesson. this time round, as long as i tink i haf a problem i'll by hook or by crook ask him to chk it out!

i tink there's no easy way lor. at this age, i tink there's only cold turkey liao. chang tong bu ru duan tong. 4 ur n nat's sake, just try it out lor. if u persist, one day surely can succeed.

not training mandy yet. we haven't even bot e mattress. once my pregy stabilised, we'll buy n start e training. i've no choice. i can't let mandy and e nb sleep in e same rm. wat kinda mattress is ewan sleeping on?

slowly slowly. i'm training mandy to drink fr cup. she only likes to drink fr e GLASS!!! or porcelain cups!!! sigh....tink she doesn't like e taste o plastic.... but i can't let her hold breakable cups by herself wor....hiyoooooo... it's like endless training...

i oso blame myself for tinking she's ok w e bottle n stopping. my no. 2 hor, must train early early liao. but not 1st mth... cos if i hafta pump n feed no. 2 plus all e sterilising + taking care o mandy.... tink i'll die... haahahaha

the corn i cut into 3 or 4 portion... think one whole corn a bit too much for her. aiyohh, the more i think abt u being preggy, the more i peifu u... really dunno how u can cope with MS + Mandy without any help!!! yup, think shd train mandy to zzz in her own room now. coz i see my bro... at nite need to bluff the older one to zzz while the maid is outside with the baby, then only bring the baby in. then during zzz, when the baby cries, the older one oso will be disturbed n wakes up crying. so practically the whole nite not much zzz.

hmm.. i oso very low energy level. i saw u got time to do up those posters, have performance, all those 'special' meals for mandy... think u very good liao. i always wonder where u all find the time!

yah.. 1 is not enough. but i just dunno when i am ready to have #2. when i was younger, so gungho...i wanted 6! 4 own ones and 2 adopted ones. but if i have the means and extra help.. i wouldnt mind that still.. but maybe 2 + 2 only.

So much discussion abt preg...make me "sum si si"...kekeke...but I shall not act on impulse...hmmm...I actually prefer an age gap btw 3 to 4 yo...
