Hello mummies
Hubby left for business trip this morning again.... SIANZ!!!
But I have good news, JT starting to latch again last nite. Yay!! Hopefully no more breast refusal from her anymore. And she also started to take her sippy cup to drink water this morning. Yay Yay!! No more spoonfeeding water/milk!!!
Altho she still takes 1 hr to have her porridge, but I'm ok lah, at least she's eating....

Nuk latex teats is supposed to be the closest to human nipple. JT was using that until recently where she refuse it totally. Does Ivan take the sippy cup well? If so, why dun you just let him drink milk from the sippy cup directly? I read that it is preferably that babies wean off the bottle at 1 year old, so that their teeth development won't be affected.

Yes, Royal China has dim sum on weekdays. I was there on Sunday... this is our second time at the restaurant and contrary to MBB and LiL's recommendations, I personally don't like the place. (sorry MBB and LiL!) Unless you simply want cheap dim sum at a fairly nice restaurant, and don't mind slip shod service. I get more thrill and satisfaction eating at Summer Palace.

Ya must admit the service is quite slow during peak hrs. The food is good (mayb KL grown taste buds r different
)...of course don't go there expecting to order dim sum only cos it's not a dim sum specialist restaurant like Noble House. But the dim sum is different from the usual rough teochew type u c here. If u r feeling $$$ try the lobster noodles. We bring all our visiting friends there n they all love it...hahaha...maybe they hvn't tasted dim sum in a v long time.

Just to update any one who is interested in this bb contest organised by MediaCorp:
the most talented and best parent look alike categories will be still open for registration this coming Sat, 27 October, from 12pm - 8pm at MediaCorp reception. But it will be limited to 80 applications only. Have to come early to register. Upon registration, will have to pay $5. Most probably have to bring baby photographs for registration.
but other categories of bb contest are closed due to overwhelming.

On leave again today to bbsit my elder girl. Evee is ok already appetite slowly coming back to normal.
Gan, did you manage to keep your vest on while Hayley is around? I only get to wear at nite after my bath and as i feed or play with evee, she kept opening up the velcro so really difficult for me to keep it on, she really enjoy opening my vest.

If the space in between the joints reduced it can mean the spine is compressed, in chiropractice the chiropractor open up the space by manipulating of the joints. quite a few of my colleagues went for chiro but hor regardless of condition, the chiro is charging $4.5K for 90 sessions i am abit skeptical hence din sign up, intending to try working out regularly first.
bloom, how heavy is your bb now? If i dun remember wrongly, bb should triple their birth weight by the time they turn 1. Evee is still about 2 kg away though will be her birthday in about 2 weeks time.

Besides the slip shod service... Do you know, at Royal China, there's a 15% discount if using UOB credit card. And guess how the cashier calculates the discount? Summer Palace is at Regent Hotel. Big spaces between the tables, courteous and attentive staff, pleasant ambience. And they have a good practice of never over order the amount of food. They will tell u enough for now... order more later if insufficient.

Thanks for the offer for the teats. I have given up trying to get JT to drink from bottle. She is drinking fine from her sippy cup now so I dun really bother if she wants to take the bottle or not. Her problem now is rejecting FM tho... haiz...

errr.. I wont be attending kimi's playgroup this sat due to change of venue. I wont be able to rush back in time for my party. so wont get to see ya.. do enjoy the session.
Hope to see you all on next sat at MYGYM. We still short of 2 more babies. The person, Lydia told me if we can get 1 more baby even 2, she will try her best to org the trial group for us. Or do u have any friend who is interested to bring her bb to this trial. Let me know asap.. hope to book the slot before it gone.

Roo, the exercise package i signed on is actually for pilates but bec i long time no exercise been advised to do body rolling and gyrokinesis first.
Gan, try to wear everyday and follow the instructions in the brochure else will waste $$ on the vest. Bec our posture have been with us for so many years it will take months to correct it so the longer we drag, the harder it will be. But i think posture really makes a difference for eg when in mrt in morning, i slouched as i doze off then i realised its more painful for my back and got leg pain but if i straighten up felt better.
